Dog go in to practice mode and practice setting up defense against meta offense. Pretty soon you'll be spamming buttons so fast that you won't even know what ur hitting, it's just instinct
U still don’t get enough time to do it properly, I feel u should be able to pick some of these things in the huddle based on what the defense personnel is in.

how do you create the lock the feature? even if i man up on the rb, i can still move my user and regardless of a setup, i cant move any player when the audble menu is up. So i dont understand how that is confirmation. Also the zone drops dont work for me, so i use cover 3 match and leave it at default

Disguise your coverage. You don’t gotta do all that weird nerd extra stuff. Like cover two invert looks like 3. Mix in a man blitz but make the shell cover 2 etc. a good cover two is your base d. People ain’t running like that. Defend the pass first.
Bro the switch stick isn’t working, I am moving it and it isn’t switching, do I have to turn it on in settings? It seems to do the hit stick mechanic instead of switching

Run fits don’t help, learn what plays have run fits. He’s them and focus more on numbers and even numbers.. the user hovering over the line and not getting blocked is the best thing you can do. Run fit will actually bite you in the ass against a good runner like me. Bring your safeties down. Keep them 6-10 yards back outside the Tackles and user the middle. 18-2 mut champs, 15-1 ranked, 30-5 solo, 9-1 gauntlet. Take the advice. 😘 I’m just tired of hearing about run fit …. Knowing what play has run fit is all that matters

The point is that madden isn’t a very well made game when it comes to real life NFL defenses and performing correctly against real life NFL offenses. The guy in the vide is telling you what actually works best in game although 3 months ago. Changes have been made with updates since then, but I am fairly sure the guy in the video is still right about what defenses work well against what offenses in the madden 25 football video game. It often doesn’t correlate to real world nfl football and that is why EA needs to make so many fixes/adjustments with respect to how each defense performs overall against each offence.

In cover 1, always shade outside and user the middle, but if your opponent is sending multiple routes over the middle shade inside.

How come when I switch stick it puts me to someone else then I blow the coverage and get cook.

What is the button combo to zone out the defense ends on the disengage blitzing?
Highlight the player and hit “A” or “X” and then you’ll see options for placing them in different zones.

Yes they will, what defense you show does not affect the run fits.

Cover 3 definitely is a good run defense in the game. All I run is 3-3-5 stack Cover 3 match and adjust out of that depending on what I see.
