Correction: It's 30% per second on heroic, regardless its going to be minimized down quickly and the passive healing sources from pallies, spriests, and judge of light should still be enough for people.
Leaching Swarm does 30% max HP a second on heroic not 10%, and using your math and changing 10% for 30% its actually 18 times more healing your doing not 6.
@@ebragz yah its 112500 healing per second. Also, you're generally going to be keeping your tanks roughly at 50-75% all of p3, and unless your tanks are wearing some special set for Anub they will likely be running 45k HP or so after removing stamina buffs. Tanks could wear NR enchants on some throw away pieces to get to 225 NR which will make it that the tanks will always resist 20% of the leach. This in turn will smooth out the damage taken by the tanks from leach and reduce roughly 7.5k damage from being leached from them, or roughly 17,250 healing per tank. Going off of my guilds attempts on it unless we can push 150k dps all of p3 we will never kill it if we keep the raid above 25%. Also if you use Lesser Flask of Resistance on the raid you can make it so the whole raid is guarenteed to resist 10% of all Nature and Frost damage for the fight. It could really help for those early kills while guilds are progressing.
So technically it does 30% of ur CURRENT health and it heals Anub for 230% of the dmg done, but with a healing debuff (aimed shot, wound poison or mortal strike) it's 115% of the dmg done. I'm sure you meant current health, because I see your second comment talks about tanks not being topped off and how it affects Anub healing. Just clarifying for people who see ur top comment.
you can, but with the passive heal they shouldnt need it, and you are better served healing PC targets or the tanks. If people lose their passive heal coverage, then definitely go for it
If you spam the raid with shield, then all the passive healing will make their health go up, increasing the amount of healing on Anub. In the long run, an 8k shield will heal Anub the same as an 8k direct heal. The bigger reason you don't want to blanket shield is you don't want PC targets to already have weakened soul on them.
Super unrelated to anything but Binding heal>then flash heal outside the shield spam penance until you get ICC bonus and even then prob. Cause mana is not an issue in WotLK classic if it is something is wrong.
It can be only long fights where rapture doesnt lineup well (or if some jackass takes unecessary damage before a big aoe attack like stars on algalon) but yea mana should be fine. I try to go crit/haste over mp5

No worries, appreciate the extra insight and detail!
Can disc priest spam bubbles on the whole raid since it's all absorbs once they are at that 10% health area?
