Amy had less clips because she didn’t struggle or we didn’t see her struggle in training camp. If you go back and watch her rookie season, you barley see her. You see the training camp candidates that struggle not the ones that don’t. That’s Why Amy only had 12 mins vs someone who struggled a lot like Meredith had more
I agree which is why it'll be a while before we get a video of Amanda. She was great in camp and had no issues so they didn't show her much either.
sometimes I wonder why Merideth got a video before so many others like Jinelle, Amy, and Yuko

In my ten years as a fan, Amy's the third DCC to cut her hair short at the beginning of her third year. I say that because Sarah Gourley and Mackenzie Weeks did the same thing.

Y’all should do a full Game Day Entrance Dance video. I literally have never seen the full dance in good quality with the actual music lol it’s a 10 minute dance and an easy upload. Maybe a complication of ever Game Day dance over the past couple of years.

I don’t think there is a limit of years you can be in the team for, but if you do decide to keep on coming back you still have to audition. If you know Jenna. She was on the team for 6 years. Most of them stop after 5 years or stop before that.

Her and her fiancé are so freaking cute!!! Amy seems like such a humble sweetheart. She’s one of those no drama, amazing dancer that stayed under the radar (like Robyn 💕).
Amy so deserved this video. She was over shadowd by the big Kashara for four years. I still can't believe Amy's rookie sister and best friend, Kashara, would when asked by Kellie to pick a point of triangle would be pick someone other then Amy. Amy is amazing and has a lot of class.
I heard that they were asked to pick three potential points. If that's the case then maybe Kash could have said Amy and we didn't hear it. I hope that's the case but we aren't Kash or Kelli so we wouldn't know the full truth
caroline was super strong as well. i think kash picked caroline because they had similar styles.
12 minutes but I mean... what kind of footage do we expect of Amy? She's been a great performer since her rookie year and didn't struggle like some others. Don't think she was ever cut and made it on her first try? At least on TV. She only makes good TV when they need to showcase a leader, perfect example, etc.

PoppinInColumbus -I agree, which is kind of understandable but still a shame . It’s so ironic that Holly was so professional in her first season , toning up when called out about her weight, winning Jay’s fitness camp , making it to the Show group, yet breaching protocol and being unprofessional was her downfall.

Only 12 mins for Amy? That’s mad disrespectful. Just because she hasn’t struggled in camp doesn’t mean we shouldn’t see her journey. You guys should focus more on their individual journeys rather than Their mistakes and office calls. We want to see the highs just as much as we want to see the lows.
Chaia Mera Chaos there’s probably not a lot of footage on Amy, she didn’t have a lot of drama surrounding her. I don’t think they can create footage when there wasn’t any.

I love that they put Amy as point but on social media, we rarely ever see her as point, usually Maddie (who is also amazing)

Do the producers of the show just not like Amy? Most of these clips aren’t about her specifically, it’s about the big group. She’s been on the squad for a long time and barely has any footage?
Edit: to clarify, I’m talking about the producers at CMT who filmed the show. Not this YT channel. This channel is awesome, we ask and they keep delivering!
This wasn’t a planned series, them doing the best of & so forth, so we can’t expect equal footage of each & every girl. Also, since the actual show starts filming at auditions the producers have no idea who to focus on until they get farther in.
Heather Harris we did jump from her as a rookie to her 4th year though. But this perfectly shows how good she is and how she is not into drama.
@@manonlison I think you're exactly right - Amy wasn't "interesting" (read: didn't make for good reality TV) because she was an accomplished dancer, was never really in danger of getting cut, and didn't get involved in the drama. She was just a sweet, sparky young woman who kicked ass on the field, so she didn't get a huge amount of screen time.
Additionally, I think they *are* planning a longer "Amy's Journey" video but want to wait until the next season airs because she's retired now (per her instagram, she didn't try out for the squad this year).
Amy was not on camera a lot, for example during her rookie season. There’s nothing they can do about that!
@@heatherharris2843 In auditions they know to focus on the ones that are GOOD and will likely be present later. Aside from that... they still have five seasons of her on the team. You don't even see her in show group. I agree that only 12 minutes from five seasons is rather crappy. Then you have rookies with 30 minutes and multiple DCC In Motion performances. Seems disrespectful. If nothing else, just show game clips of her smiling and doing well.

I’ve been waiting for this, as so many have. It doesn’t really show much of her “journey” from first tryout to now, but I’m to see what is included.
Jennifer Blair I think there’s probably not a lot of footage of Amy‘s journey. She didn’t have a lot of drama surrounding her so there’s not as much to show.

Amy didn’t struggle at all in training camp so they didn’t have many clips of her. Meredith struggled so they had more clips of her. If you go back and watch Amy’s rookie season she barley has any clips.
They could have included all of Amy's final routines on each season of her tryouts and extended this video. I have a feeling if it wasn't for all of us asking to see Amy's Journey they would have never even put it on. I have no idea why they love Meredith so much when I don't even see how she made the team in the first place.
