i do competetive cheer and most of it is just stunts. there is also dancing and gymnastic, but our main focus is the stunts.
There are different a types of cheer
all I'm saying is, this isn't cheer. I do both highschool and allstar so I know that this isn't anything like it. This is dance. I'm not saying anything bad about it. I'm just saying that this video does not relate to cheer at all
I'm not saying ur wrong at all but I do them as well and I agree they are nothing like it but this is how they do it in the nfl and they are still cheerleaders because they cheer them on it may not be in the same way as normal but they still do x

I honestly have no problems with the video or these dancers but I just wish the NFL and NBA would stop calling dancers cheerleaders they are completely different. I respect these athlete so much and their abilities but it's not cheer it's dance so why not call them a dance team. Just myself being a cheerleader it's kinda annoying because there is already so many stereotypes that go along with cheer then being compared to "pro" cheer... I just wish people could see cheerleading for the amazing sport that it is.

I totally understand what you are saying but in some countries cheer is like this and some comps are like this too for example this is my cheer I'm a low skilled and levelled cheerleader and this is what we do for cheer but in your countries I'd understand why you'd become annoyed
