This doesn't fix the Samsung wi-fi problem, "connected but no internet". Even after a factory reset I've had that problem pop up a few times. I have a few theories on why it happens, but can't be sure.
Very informative video! But what version(s) of Android does this apply to? I know the settings can be different depending on the various versions of Android.
Thank you saki for a great to. Something I didn't actually know. Learn something new every day! It could also be down to an rogue app. Check any recent installs first to see if it makes any difference by force stopping or even removing them.. Also you can go into system cache and deleting that to see if that is where the problem lies. Also you can try restarting phone in safe mode if none of that works then go through your resets steps. Totally agree that factory reset and then selling phone should be last resort.
i have a galaxy A10 but when i press the wifi and bluetooth it wont turn on and none of your tips helped me do you have any other idea of what im supposed to do?
This is just exactly everything that the Samsung Samsung or whatever Carrier troubleshooting department uses this is their last ditch efforts to ever try to actually fix any connection that you have to service data Wi-Fi whatever it doesn't work taking your SIM card out putting it back in and restarting your phone no that does not work either I've been dealing with this for years Every Galaxy device I've fought over the years since I've had the same issue and Sampson's already gotten in trouble for this but yet they're not doing anything to fix the problem so so try this stuff and it may work for maybe an hour or 2 if that but it's gonna fail again
Didn't solve my problem. I have a Galaxy a53. My (and MANY other people's) problem is Hands Free bluetooth calls in my car. To the other person, I sound like a distorted robot. They cannot understand me at all. There are a few threads about this issue on Samung's Community page. Samsung doesn't seem to care. Perhaps if you did a video exposing this problem, that would get their attention. Any help would be appreciated.
The problem I'm having may be a little more complex, Samsung refuses to assist me stating it's my carrier and that it couldn't possibly be defective. The device is a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G fully updated and operating on ATT FIRSTNET on a 5G plan in an area that has 5G coverage, However the device only receives 4G LTE service. the network settings have been reset multiple times ATT advanced technical support has been involved, the store has been involved and they requested that I remove the Sim card and try it in a different 5G capable device and when placed in a Samsung S22 Ultra 5G it produces a 5G signal, the Sim card from that device (which also gives it 5G signal) gives my device 4G LTE. I'm at a loss and don't know what to do can you please tell me what to do in order to resolve this?
I had a problem with my phone it wouldn't connect to anything. I tried all your tips. I went to the Samsung members. I took the diagnostic test on there. About 10 minutes after I too the test I received an update. It fixed my phone. Samsung members diagnostic
My S22 Ultra keeps changing the WiFi calling preferences back to cellular preferred. "Switch to mobile data when WiFi connection is slow or unstable", is turned off. Very frustrating, since my cell signal is weak. Any suggestions?
Can you please explain how to enable wi-fi calling on an S22 Ultra? I see it in your videos of your phone but it will not display on mine or my son's S21 Ultra.
My S22 ultra connects Bluetooth on my Subaru and I can make and receive calls, but the text messages do not come through. They did with my note 8🤔 should I try this technique you showed?
Hi Saki.. Bluetooth connection to my Nissan car infotainment system has been a thorn in my side since I purchased a new note 9. I've updated since then and bought a note 20 Ultra 5g. I've have been in touch with Samsung and revised all utube videos about Bluetooth connection issues. Some times... No connection happens, some times it does but doesn't stay connected and the system keeps trying etc etc. And also there are times were it connects but the music being played from Spotify sounds like someone is turning the stereo power button on and off a million times... And finally at times it connects ok... The note 9 did exactly the same with same Nissan car. After months and months of trying this n that I've noticed that if I have to many apps open in the multi window as in this button III .... The Bluetooth connecting is down right hopeless and it does what I've discribed earlier. Same with note 9... I took my Nissan car to Nissan and got the infotainment system updated to the latest Australian software and it made zero difference. I explained all this to Samsung online help and they said it's not the phone if it connects to other Bluetooth devices ok... Frustratingly it does. I own a pair of Sony wf1000xm3 bt ear buds and straight away doesn't matter how many apps are open... It connects straight away and it's perfect... It never mucks up while connecting to the Sony xm3 buds.... I am really at a loss. It's terribly annoying and I just deal with it because I do love galaxy devices and I was previously a Sony Xperia user but when I bought the note 9... It was love at first site... If never buy another brand of phone I'm a Samsung user and that's final but I'd dearly love to be able to get in my car and have a trouble free BT connection. Most times I fiddle for 5 minutes before driving anywhere just to get Spotify through the cars BT. Any ideas that might help... Network settings I have done many of times but it doesn't seem to be the problem.... To my knowledge through trying everything to rectify the issue, I'm finding the problem is related to having to many apps open in the multi app window III button... If you might know something I could try id be so grateful for your help... Thanks Saki...
😅Done it....before seeing your comment. So means I have no other choice to reconnect my watch 4? My watch will lose all the data and I have to start all over again?
Resetting network settings is not a fix for Bluetooth. Rarely does it fix any issues for BT. My S22U has BT issues with a lot of devices, Garmin watches, Beats Pro, Buds Pro, and more. I speak to others who have the same issues. Never a real good stable connection. Wiping the phone is another way to waste time setting it up again.
Have this problem a lot on my s20 galaxy FE 5G. The Bluetooth keeps shutting off and I've been shutting the phone off and restarting which solves the issue for a time
Wifi connectivity has been an issue with all note series. Specially when you have multiple access points or you go away from main router. Here I can say Apple outsmart Samsung.
Samsung dont support Gear VR anymore. They tell you to Uninstall it. When you do facebook and facebook messenger and Ingram their apps be deleted. Don't know why? How can I fix this?
i am on samsung galaxy s22 ultra, and my reason to fix my wifi is to check up on my passwords and emails that are trapped on my phone and cant check it.if i restore my phone i will lose all.sad
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5g through Verizon & every morning like clockwork for about an hour, my Mobile Data is very slow or non existent to the point I have to use my Mifi Jetpack. Nice to know these settings might, hopefully fix this problem. But reconnecting all my settings & connections would be a pain. I'll just use my Jetpack
I followed your tips. But the problem I am having has to do with a bluetooth smartwatch (Amazfit GTR4) that has a phone app on it. The watch pairs fine with my Samsung A54 phone, but I cannot use the bluetooth phone calling option on the watch. In the bluetooth gear for the watch, it only says "Input Device". Other devices I have will allow bluetooth calling. So what do I have to do to enable bluetooth calling? BTW, when I receive phone calls on my phone, the watch displays the caller, but I cannot answer, only hang up from the watch. I want to PLACE calls also. I thought it was a bluetooth issue, but apparently not.
My phones WiFi won't turn on. When you click it, it automatically turns off. Any advice sir? I've tried resetting the network settings but it doesn't work
This didn't help and I'd really like to know what the problem is. My phone screen was broken, I took it to get it fixed and it came back not turning on WiFi and Bluetooth.
Question this did not fix. On my Old phone, Google XL, I could turn the WiFi on or off and when the WiFi connection was lost the Icon would Reflect as a "No WiFi connection" Icon. On my New Galaxy S22 the Icon only shows the WiFi is Turned on or Turned Off! If I lose connection the Icon still displays as the WiFi is On. How do I get the Icon to Reflect the Idea that although the WiFi is switched On, the Connection has been lost?!
I recently bought a Samsung note 10 off Amazon (refurbished), when I try to connect to my headset it wont even pick it up. It will pick up a boombox I have nearby but, it prompts that I need an app to use that device. I'm thinking thats the reason why its refurbished, any ideas on what it could be I allready tried reseting all except factory reset since when I bought it it was allready restored.
I tried everything in this video but nothing has worked. I even did a full factory reset. My prepaid service plan worked for the first month that I activated it but when my prepaid service card ran out and I refilled my service I have had no data at all even tho I pay for unlimited. I'm in a third month if service now but still have no use of data. I only have service when I'm near a wireles connection. Any help appreciated.
