This is awesome! My twin daughters were in a movie on the history channel called Andrew Jackson and they filmed at an Old army base in Lebec, California called Fort Tajon. I love American History thank you for this. It was awesome
Ft. Chadbourne is worth the visit...
I took my family and we went through the museum and toured the Fort.
I highly recommend everyone do the same!!
Garland has done a fantastic job preserving Texas Fort History.
You showed the old fort ruins and said, 'He's lived here all his life.' I laughed and said, 'Wow, must get cold in the winter!' lol :D
What a lucky man.
I worked on a Drilling rig on Ft Chadbourne, its a cool place
Beautiful!!
You should go back out there today.
I worked in the oilpatch on that ranch..i remember the cattle brand as being a cross.
Is there a follow up to this story?
He should call in archeologist to do what is being done at Jamestown and other historic places.
They don't get paid to preserve that important part of West Texas?
Was this recorded in 2001?
