What I admire about him the most, is that he takes his crappy situations (like being orphaned as a kid) really learns lessons from them, puts them into perspective, feels his emotions, & creates songs that have touched & changed countless lives for the better. Is he perfect? No. But he’ll admit it. I also love how he communicates with his fans live. I will never ever forget being at Club Baby Head in RI when a bunch of people were attempting to mash to Name. Seriously. I kid you not.

It would’ve been 5 if my friend hadn’t taken us to the hole in the wall to see the Toadies. Boston was having an rock/alt rock festival (not like today it was really cool.) we had FREE admission to see different bands at different venues. We didn’t have cell phones then so she found out when it was too late to go to Avalon. I always knew ppl at that club. But we could’ve been across the Charles for all I know. It would’ve taken forever. *1 Dizzy* at the same place I saw Mike walking around without anyone knowing when he started a conversation with me. I’m looking forward to seeing Goo this summer there. It’s right on Boston Harbor. *1 Gutterflower* the venue was too big for my taste. Note: ABNG What’s interesting is my friend was pissed off. I was just happy to be out & see a band. And I wasn’t even a Toadies fan. I was the 1 who should’ve been pissed.
