I’m loving how you guys are approaching the Spice Girls discography! Your reviews and comments are all on point, substantial and funny at the same time! The Spice Girls deserve all of the respect and admiration you give to their body of work which is indeed one of a kind - impressive! Please continue to review their singles, albums, videos, live performances, b-sides, etc. I’d personally love to see you guys review of all of their solo albums.
What a lot of people don’t realise about VB is she was a trained dancer (went to the same college as me). Both versions of her second solo album (the dance album Open Your Eyes and the RnB Come Together) that never got released, are actually really good - Let Your Head Go and This Groove, the two singles that came out before the album was shelved - were both probably the best things she ever released!
Yes! The unreleased second album is such a missed opportunity for her - loved the singles when they came out and agreed, probably the best solo material she released!
I am so amazed I feel you understand perfectly each style, I love the fact you appreciate all of them individually. I agree with you 100%. Am I in 1998? It seems to me you know them so well & you maybe didn't even exist in that time.
Geri's first album and all the singles and videos were perfect. It was still fun, camp, Spicy but more mature than their group stuff. You could really see what a big part she played in the group and their songwriting.
@@CCTVPOPS Also, I’d like to add that I’ve listened to all their solo albums. Mel C’s and Geri’s were tied for my favorite. Emma’s and Victoria’s had a few good songs but I did not like Mel B’s album at all. Her album felt like a collection of demos than actual finished songs.
Victoria alternated between performing this in her white outfit with the white choreography and in her black outfit with the black choreography. You’ll find the black performance on cd:U.K.
Would love to see you do this with other girl bands solo efforts. I love all your stuff on girl bands. My ranking of all the solo spice careers would be: 1. Mel C 2. Emma 3. Victoria 4. Geri 5. Mel B
Hi Luciano, thanks so much for watching! I think I would agree with your ranking. We have a lot more Spice and other girl group content coming up so stay tuned! :D
so pretty much the rankings: 1. Mel C - I Turn to You 2. Geri - Look at Me 3. VB - Not Such an Innocent Girl 4. Mel B - I Want You Back 5. Emma - What Took You So Long
@@oxoxoxoxo1155 I think the difference is "When You're Gone" is a Bryan Adams single featuring Melanie C and "I Want You Back" is a Mel B single featuring Missy Elliot.
How different it would have been if you'd chosen Maybe for Emma and Let your head go for Victoria. I know how you picked the songs but, a boy can dream
Our thought was to just do their most successful singles, but we plan on doing this again with different Spice songs in the near future! Thanks for watching!!
Shitying on and comparing Mel and Missy's number 1 single to songs that flopped. I agree that the album version of I Turn to You is better :) You know whete Emma's track did go? ... straight to number 1 🥰
Great vid but how did you miss Victoria's debut number with Truesteppers?! Far more grown up and edgy for it's time. Not such an innocent wasn't her debut song, guys! Enjoyed it anyway thanks 🇬🇧
She was just a feature on that one, so we didn't count it as her's! We plan on deep-diving into each of their solo careers properly soon though, so look out for that. Thanks for watching!
@@CCTVPOPS she was the only known name in the lineup for it though, nobody had heard of Truesteppers and Dane Bowers was a virtual nobody. Can't see the difference between that and the Missy Elliott tune other than that Missy is a megastar 🤔. I did enjoy your vid tho thanks guys, will look forward to your next offering 👍
I believe worldwide "I Turn To You" has surpassed it! Regardless - we're planning on doing a proper deep-dive into Melanie's solo career so can't wait to discuss that one!
@@CCTVPOPS actually he is right, I Turn to You sold 2 million and NBTSA sold 2.5 million, but I still loved the review, and I think I Turn to You was better to discuss about Mel C's carrer because it was a solo hit for her (and also the only Spice related thing to have an Grammy).
These comments are really judgy and unnecessary (it's there opinion) but side note I think Victoria's album is really good and she can sing but didn't get the best material. Geri couldn't sing a note and the evidence was there hahaha
Hi, thanks for watching! The whole point of this was to analyze the tracks and be critical - it is fun to listen to music more deeply like that. We agree, Victoria's album is great!

Hi Julian, thanks so much for your nice comments!! We definitely will be doing a lot more Spice-related content :D

Agreed. She was by far the best dancer in Spice Girls and a serious rival to Britney imo
Since Melanie C has done more solowork how about your top 5 favorites or something of hers? ^_^
I am so amazed I feel you understand perfectly each style, I love the fact you appreciate all of them individually. I agree with you 100%. Am I in 1998? It seems to me you know them so well & you maybe didn't even exist in that time.

Loved the video💗💗 can't wait to see more Spice-related things on here. Now let me watch the Sugababes one haha💗😉
Thank you so much for watching and the support! Definitely more Spice videos in the pipeline :D

Same!!!!
Please, make a Melanie C discography review video! She is amazing
On our list for sure, thanks so much for watching!!
Victoria alternated between performing this in her white outfit with the white choreography and in her black outfit with the black choreography. You’ll find the black performance on cd:U.K.
Ooh, thanks for that info - that's fun!! She put so much effort into her solo career, it really does deserve more recognition. Thanks for watching!
I Turn To You easily is the best single. Please do a Melanie C solo music review.
On our list for sure! Thanks so much for watching!
Never be the same again/ when your gone with Bryan adams
Geri was singing live in that TOTP performance, and she smashed it!
I don't think she was in the one we watched, but maybe there is another one where she is?? Thanks for watching!!
There is zero chance she was singing live. Try not to be so easily fooled.

1. Mel C

melanie c's most successful song was "baby when your gone" 1998 with Bryan Adams
She was a featured artist on that track, so we didn't count that as HER song. Thanks for watching!
@@CCTVPOPS but mel b " i want you back was featured !
@@oxoxoxoxo1155 I think the difference is "When You're Gone" is a Bryan Adams single featuring Melanie C and "I Want You Back" is a Mel B single featuring Missy Elliot.

all 5 are awsome however sporty whom is the most successful on her own
Yes, valid opinion!
Why didn’t you guys pit all of the 1st singles in the first section ?
Our thought was to just do their most successful singles, but we plan on doing this again with different Spice songs in the near future! Thanks for watching!!
Look at me song and video 🙌🇬🇧
Yasss! Thanks for watching!!
Um, Chan, I’m a fan of you.
I don’t think Look at Me is Geri most succesful single by fact.
"It's Raining Men" is - but since it's a cover we went with "Look At Me" for this video!
Is it Mi Chico Latino?
Missy Elliott songs often end like that. It’s a chance to appreciate the instrumentation.
The rap moment was in the beginning tho
Mel C and Geri probably have the most successful singles.
Yes, for sure. Which one is your favorite?
Please do spice girls Bsides
Ooh good idea!!!

Victoria Lopez? 😂 “I don’t know her.”
Mariah Carey
