Well these songs are about a man who has suffered for his love towards nature in a society (the town, the mountain) that exploits the nature, in the first song he decides to burn the town down, second part is where the town was first rebuilt, but their way of life hadn't changed a bit so he returns to burn it again. The final part is where he realizes that humanity will remain the same as the town did, never learning from it's mistakes. He decides to burn the whole world.
05:15 One day when you least expect it, during a party or harvest festival, a man, not quite a man, yet not quite a beast, will walk up the road and join with his family, the nature. Unless humanity has found harmony before that… you all will perish. "Hello."
1st one has an insane nostalgia value + I love it for being just simple, fast-paced, kick ass powermetal with great lyrics. 2nd has one of the greatest intros ever, I really love how Tony composed a similar melody to this. THIS is what you call a worthy sequel, great lyrics and awesome melody. 3rd Holy Shit. Possibly the most angry SA song to date, but for a good reason. Greatest lyrics of the saga, but it doesn't match the melodies of its prequels, except for the part they use as intro.
I get that people get their own ideas from art but I want to know how you get the planet wiew. I myself get the wiew that the storyteller is somehow abused by the wildfire town so he ended it and the last two are his ponderings of it (propably while he is getting executed since the drums in the beginning of the WF2 sounds alot like execution drums)
Cool idea bro, I'd LOVE to see these as a film! On the other hand though, Tony has written these songs in a way that allows people to understand them in their own, personal way. Maybe it's best if we make the movies inside our heads and don't let any director ruin our imaginated scenarios of these masterpieces! Tony gave us a great amount of imagination fuel when he wrote and composed these, making them visual could ruin everything :/
Yes, they are, but wildfire 2 is my favourite of them. On a scale from 1 to 100, W2 marks 100 points while the other two marks 99.8 for me. However if you take them together you get a brilliant work. What a story you can write from this songs!!
I'm glad someone did this. Unfortunately, the lag of my laptop fucks the audio quality very easily. I have to turn off everything else to get it to play smoothly.
awesome! simply awesome! all of 3 are fantastic Songs, but the second Part, oh c'mon i love it, the sound, the atmosphere, the Lyrics! when at the end Tony say "one with the mountain" my soul vibrates
To all that people saying 'what happened with the old sonata?' I answer: I liked, I like and I'll always like sonata. I think both the 'old' songs and the newest songs sound awesome. No matter what you'll say.
I love you man. Also, note that it's a progression, so it totally makes sense to change melodies anyway. Just a bit/in some parts, so you can still recognise it. Also 3rd is next to 2nd in the CD. :D
1 is just amazing and oldschool how I loved sonata. Really like 3 as well! It´s my favorite band and I dont like all their work but they are still amazing
Its tough, really it is. I like Part 1 and 2 and 3. Theres no way I can choose a favourite. (I seriously sat here for like 10 minutes trying to pick one but I couldnt)
I at least like a lot their every single song! Rest are more loving and adoring XP Been a fan since I heard the "The End of this Chapter", which was the very first song I heard from them. X3 Me getting easily bored with the same old same old, their on going experiences with new styles I find very positive thing! I think I won't ever be able to stop listening their songs. X33 And the band name couldn't be any more fitting! X3
The End Of This Chapter, Don't Say A Word, Caleb, and Juliet. Or, in a more chonological order, Caleb, The End Of This Chapter, Don't Say A Word, Juliet.
"Using his burgeoning intelligence, this most successful of all mammals has exploited the environment to produce food for an ever increasing population. Instead of controlling the environment for the benefit of the population, perhaps it is time we control the population to allow the survival of the environment." That's definitely an interesting way to look at things...I view these songs entirely differently after hearing those words at the end of Part 3
That won't work lol. Sorry for spamming, btw. So paste that link like I've told you and then go to Features on that site and there it is on the second page. It's called Sonata Arctica - Replacing the Blank File
hey, the band used a software for the speech in the end, it's available for the Mac OS, does anyone know the name of the program? I need it for a project and I want put that same speech.
II's by far the best I think. And for the record, I thought this album was all around good; so much better than that stepping stone Days of Grays and that...garbage Unia.
the mastery of poetry is strong here, an excellent trilogy of songs with a powerful message, and people wonder why i love these guys
oh gosh after years i come back to this and one with the mountain still gives me the chills
Part I rules them all ^^ Speed-metal, and fantastic singing and arrangement!
Definitely my favourite part aswell, but part 2 is also awesome in it's own way !

Am I the only one who LOVES all these wildfire songs?
No but you are surely adorable 🍷
00:00 Part 1
04:38 Part 2
12:30 Part 3
I love how these songs are a metaphor to our planet. Realizing this, I got even more powerful chills. :)
One with the mountain
Agree since 1995 they have never bored me with one of their songs
Dear God, I can't decide which is my favorite at all. They're freaking spectacular, all of them.
Part 1 is still my all time favorite Sonata Arctica song.
The transition between Wildfire into One With The Mountain sent chills up my spine, despite how simple it was.
I love the intro of Wildfire II. Very cool.

I like this type of meatal where they kinda give a story to it
Me too. It's my favorite really.
All 3 songs are masterpieces.
Guys, lyrics are updated. Check the description, thanks.
Part I is the one and only for me...
I'll always prefer Part I, as it was my first Sonata Arctica song and the song that made me fall in love with them.
Yes, they are, but wildfire 2 is my favourite of them. On a scale from 1 to 100, W2 marks 100 points while the other two marks 99.8 for me.

I love the story of the stalker and how he continues to crop up and reveal more of his story (and his father in Celab)...
Epic... dont need more words.. just EPIC :)
Love all three of them...
awesome! simply awesome!
all of 3 are fantastic Songs, but the second Part, oh c'mon i love it, the sound, the atmosphere, the Lyrics!
when at the end Tony say "one with the mountain" my soul vibrates
0:00 4:36 Wildfire I

12:31 20:23 Wildfire III
:)
Yes and he even got 2 solo albums which are pretty good stuff to check out :)

It's called life and getting older, priorities changing. A lot metal fans fear change. Sad actually.
Wildifre 2 is a masterpiece for me.
I love em all! Just love Sonata in general :D
I love you man. Also, note that it's a progression, so it totally makes sense to change melodies anyway. Just a bit/in some parts, so you can still recognise it. Also 3rd is next to 2nd in the CD. :D

Part I and Part III - mindblowing ! \mXm/

Looks like SA did put many ''easter eggs'' inside this trilogy, thanks for pointing out ;)
I did. A totally awesome detail :) Now, let's find what does deathaura do in here!
Thumbs up, those who noticed that the distorted voice in Pt. 3 is exactly the same as the one in Steve Vai's Fire Garden album.
Would really like to see a media production of this story of some sort in a movie or anime or even a video game.
Hmmm, love all three parts! :D
the part at 16:27 reminds me so much of the "in the cool of the night air..." part in deathaura
Part I forever.
Not many do:P Its released on "Stones Grow Her Name" About one or 2 months ago:P
Wildfire (1) is on Reckoning Night album :)
I think part || is amazing
god damn how did i miss this !!! 4:40
part 1 is the best, what happend to the "Reckoning Night" Sonata Arctica that I knew and loved? D':
Ah. They got old.
I love all three
They're going to be in Tolmin in summer! q_q I am SO going!
The part I is the best, but i love the intro in part II
"Using his burgeoning intelligence, this most successful of all mammals has exploited the environment to produce food for an ever increasing population.
Instead of controlling the environment for the benefit of the population, perhaps it is time we control the population to allow the survival of the environment."
That's definitely an interesting way to look at things...I view these songs entirely differently after hearing those words at the end of Part 3
my god, its like getting seven songs in 3
All three are fucking AMAZING.
The beginning, wtf! Is this Heath Ledger rehearsing in 2004 for a future Joker role?
Nothing can beat wildfire from rekoning night, nothing..
i totally love wildfire III....one of my favorite of S.G.H.N *_*
III is my favourite but I and II are amazing too
powerfull songs powerfull album powerfull band i have nothing to write
Run!! The mountain is coming for us!! Run home, kids, while you still have homes :D
That's what i like to hear.
III part much better than other. Especially - simple piano part in beginning.
i prefer one, but two and three are good too. ;D
I didn't know there are two more parts! XD
So damn beautiful \m/
I love the second one:P
I and III !!!!

@pipanakakka: you are totally right :-)
Bravo!!
Wildfire III is my favourite \mXm/
i haven't got the lyric of part 2 and 3 yet, but will update as soon as I get them
That won't work lol. Sorry for spamming, btw. So paste that link like I've told you and then go to Features on that site and there it is on the second page. It's called Sonata Arctica - Replacing the Blank File
Part I is a masterpiece! But part II and III are kind of inconsistent. I don't know...
capolavoro!
I read it in an interview. Lemme try to find it
"Are we forced to obey?" I wish that the certain invading army would think this question carefully.
that would be awesome!
wildfire III sounds like my stomach when i'm hungry
hey, the band used a software for the speech in the end, it's available for the Mac OS, does anyone know the name of the program?
I need it for a project and I want put that same speech.
the second part is the best
reckoning night
I and II, III doesn't really frost my flakes...
"Wildfire's"? :) I am listening to this on HTC Wildfire S :)
en que album vienen estos cortes ?
II's by far the best I think. And for the record, I thought this album was all around good; so much better than that stepping stone Days of Grays and that...garbage Unia.
Unfortunatelly after listening I thought the same. Then I remembered it's like Stratovarius - Paradise. (not the music)
It's a David Attenborough quote.
