I was excited to grow the Jimmy Nardello pepper this year after hearing so many good things about them here on youtube. Our pepper & tomato plants did really amazing for us this year, better by far than ever, we ended up with bumper crops of both. The super sweet almost cherry flavor of the Jimmy Nardello peppers definitely lived up to the hype. Now that the season is almost over I'm feeling so thankful & so ready to do it all over again in 2024!

Thanks tons! Sounds like a great season over there and even better getting the Jimmy N. into the mix. A great sweet type for sure. Nearly time for things to mellow a bit and plan for next years grows. Stay safe and motivated. :)

Sad to see the season come to an end. You two had an awesome year no doubt. Time to hibernate and plan for next year. Stay safe my friends!

Thanks tons! The cold arrives for us too soon each season but just in time also for a much needed break. Stay safe and motivated. Love you guys. :)

Two of my favorites. I think I like Jimmy best, but Corbaci isn't far behind.

Thanks tons! That Jimmy N. certainly makes a case for the top spot. Our Corbaci this season were a tiny bit off so nearly switched so will have to give both a grow next year and may have a new champ if anything similar. A great problem to have. :)

Questions: Why do you not sell seeds? Lots of unique types. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a bunch! We have thought about it before but something if happens would be in the future when we have our forever home. That way we could pollinate protect and move forward with stability. Love to share seeds with others though and collecting all the different types like Pokémon. LOL

@UT33200 Got it, but the only thing I'd say in rebuttal is (don't put off what can be done today for tomorrow 🤔)

Please stop knocking how you garden! I think you do a fabulous job. I have a big yard but I container garden because of some of the nasty creepy crawlies in our soil. I am doing 20 different peppers this year and wanted to ask, can I put 2 plants in a 5 gallon bucket or do they do better alone?

Thanks a bunch! Sorry that we may come off as a bit self deprecating at times. Really feel humbled in this great community and want everyone to know how little they can have and still make something great. Have been working on refining the message for a bit more positivity. If I was to recommend I would say 1 pepper plant per 5 gallon bucket. We almost always do two though. It can take more work but 2 can be pulled off. We also pay attention to the pepper type. The shape of the pepper can most times be reflected in the plant shape and root structure a bit. For example like a long pepper like a cayenne we could do 2 easily. The plants grow taller and the roots drive deeper. A bell pepper type is bigger and wider so the plant will usually be too so we would do just one(as a recommend). Small bead like peppers like the tabasco, filius blue, etc. Tend to grow wider viney plants and can be doubled fine but more attention is needed for their viney width. Truth is that we do an over amount doubled over here each season as the chaos arrives though. 1 pepper per 5 gallon would be fine in nearly all cases but alot could be said on doubling some of them depending on the peppers shape in correlation to the width/depth of the container. Sorry for the long response. It set off a brainstorm. LOL

@@UT33200 Please don't misunderstand me, I wasn't trying to make you feel bad. I really admire how much you guys are able to pull off in a small space. I just want YOU to realize what a great job you're doing. 🥰The advice really helps. My peppers are all in the house just getting started so I will be able to plan right now. The shape comparison really makes sense. Do you have a web site where you sell seeds? I bought Oda seeds last year online and none of them came up and I can't find any in the US now. Keep up the good work! 💝

No worries. It was good advice and I don't take it bad. We don't sell seeds. Maybe someday but the way we garden makes alot more chances of cross pollinating and risk. Someday maybe when we get our forever home. My seeds are risky but could send you some if you would like. Only in the US though. If that is alright our email is UT33201@live.com :)

I grew both of these this year.. I prefer the Jimmy Nardellos.. Corbacci's were not as sweet, chewier skin and less flavor.

Thanks tons! I think you have the same opinion as a vast majority of people that have tried both and understandably so. JN is a tough one to top. :)
