Thank you, Lucky, Alex, Freiburger, Finnegan. The film crews for Roadkill, you’re all mvps and I love what you all were able to do in the past 15 years. You’ve all become a part of our lives. I don’t want to believe I’ll never get another notification there’s a new Roadkill or Roadkill Garage, Hotrod Garage. 😢😢😢😢😢 😞 😞 Hopefully they’ll post here on UA-cam. Mike and David, Dulcich. Alex, etc, They could totes film themselves doing a car pickup sight unseen and we’d watch the shizz out of it. I’ll watch it five times!
Lucky is such a *character.* From the early days of you on HRG, David F. was / asking the question in comments; *wondering how you two would get along).* Inspiring to see the amount of effort you put into making things work; regardless of what life tosses into your path. Thanks for tolerating *stuff,* and hanging in there. Lots of kudos / (praise), to you.
Glad you got to do this. We got to live vicariously through you, hang out with Lucky and whatnot. It’s gonna be pretty cool to see you concentrate 100% on your own thing though.
Warner Brothers. That's where the money decisions come from . Automotive TV shows aren't on their radar . That's the issue with mergers and acquisitions.
Good luck to all of you guys. My Hot Rod magazine history... I was with my mom at the grocery store in 1970 (11 years old.) hanging out at the magazine rack checking out all the drag cars in Hot Rod magazine. Mom found me when she was done at the mag rack. I begged her to buy the Hot Rod mag and she agreed. I spent the rest of Saturday afternoon on the floor of the living room reading every article and staring at every picture in that mag. Then I found the subscription card! Please mom! Please! will you get me this magazine? Well, we'll see you do have a birthday coming up... A year later I must have had 150 Hot Rod magazine pictures out of the magazines on the walls of my bedroom. Hey, I thought it was cool, mom & dad probably not so much, lol.
You honestly we’re at the peak of all the Shows, it totally sucks what they did. I know exactly how how you guys feel being in the movie industry for 40+ years I’ve been on a lot of shows that seem to be chugging right along and then the next thing you know they pull the plug and say go home we’re done. It sucks especially when you have a family and you guys are just moving right along with a great Eban flow I know it won’t be for long because you guys are talent talent with your shows and talent behind the wheel and wrenches thank you for all the wonderful things you’ve done for me keeping my head twisted on right while I was at the wrong end of the match
It's great to see everyone in good spirits. That '63 is gorgeous; I can believe the trim story, especially in that condition. Great content Alex, it's great to see you encouraging the crew's social media. I'm a huge fan of Holley too, I have the fuel pressure regulator that I'm going to put in the Scion. I'll have to scour the website and see what I can find!
Thank you guys for the entire ROADKILL series of great gearhead entertainment for these several years! And, yes, I'll be following you all on UA-cam! Tell Wiley to get back with Dulcich! They made quite a team! Stay safe & have a great holiday ❣️👍🙏
Really gonna miss seeing these shows. Real people having fun building cars and teaching the world that automotive connections can reach further than ever thought. Good luck to all the folks in all the shows we were blessed to have the chance to see. NOT ROD GARAGE cracked me up. Lucky and Alex, you were the best!
Good old Red Rock Can Yawn. I spent my first 5 years of life in Randsburg. My Aunt lived in Ridgecrest, so yeah, I know that area well. So many people fall asleep driving that road. Thanks Alex, I hope Hot Rod Garage comes back and picks you up for more (if you weren't joking).
I have already. Informed Discovery + that I will not be renewing my subscription. They not only canceled the best shows, but the only ones with true, genuine heart. I guess integrity doesn't mean what it used to.
Even though these endings are kinda sad, us fans will look to follow you folks in any efforts you should choose. Best wishes and I have to say this episode was crazy fun to watch. Hilarious! You people have too much fun.
These are the faces of the folks Frieberger thanked in one of his new videos. I hope all of them are able to roll in to new gigs, and one camera op to many, thank you all for putting in so much work and making so many great shows.
Sad, always loved HRG through all the host configurations! Alex , You and Lucky effing ruled! would love to see a new show somewhere somehow with you two wrenching and laughing and staying pretty. Hammer down guys!
Classic Alex- smile on regardless how it's going, and pumping up her friends. I've never heard a bad word about anyone in the whole video- hope to see y'all back together at some point.
I thank you all behind the camera folks production for a great show...now seeing how the MT app stopped my subscription in March I haven't seen any newer shows so where do I get to see them? I have followed all the roadkill cast and HRG and many others from y'all's posse of awesome folks and I love all you high octane fools I hope to see you all on YT.
Hope you had fun shooting that episode you all are the best! See ya all on the brown uniformed delivery company May not have lost your package😊 take care hrg
this is sad,but glad i got to meet you and Nick at hot rod day, hope you will do the 55 recap video and live chat we talked about, hope you a Lucky can do more fun stuff together. take care Brad
It's sad to see these shows go as they were fun and had much laughter in them. There are no broadcast shows to replace these, hopefully your UA-cam stuff will keep being killer. Good luck and best wishes. Lucky and Alex worked very well together, as did the other combos (Dave F, Steve D, Tony, and all the other)
Alex, I have been a sub here since Badmaro. Also subbed to Dennis Taylor, Lucky, DF, Mike Finnegan, David Newbern, here. Y`all don`t need MT. Keep on killin it Alex. Like a lot of fans,my subscription to MT. will not be renewed.
I didn't think anyone could play off of Lucky as well as Tony did, but you grew into it really quickly. I'll miss watching you guys together. Hopefully you can team up in the future.
I've subscribed to all the Motortrend hosts in an effort to support everyone in their future endeavors. I just wish they gave everyone more of a heads up so you could all give motortrend a proper send off together with a big group video.
Watched yours and luckys video. Sad day for HGG, but tons ahead. Honestly, the YT videos seem more sincere. Looking forward to tons of new content from the entire MT family.
alex, I really don't remember the station wagon of that year but I guess they did make them, hot rod garage has reruns on up here on Friday night. thanks alex.
Merry Christmas happy holidays alex and ur family and so proud of you and a wonderful year racing and teaching etc 🎁🎅🏻❤️🎁🎁🎁❄️❄️🎁🎁🎁❄️🎄🎄💚💚❤️☃️☃️☃️💚🎄❄️❄️🎄💚☃️☃️🎁🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎄❤️❤️💚🎄❄️🎄🎄☃️🎁🎁🎁🎅🏻🎁
Gonna miss you guys, the Roadkill guys and the associated spin off shows.... These were the only reasons I watched the channel.... I guess there's not enough gearheads out there, but there's no way I can think this is a positive move for the channel. But fortunately YT is keeping the stuff and you guys alive for us (including Ian).
Interesting times. The aftermarket will still want to advertise and sponsor creators, and right now I guess UA-cam will be the best place to do that. It’ll be disjointed and we’ll miss great colabs like Alex and Lucky. Best to both
Shame that WB decided to cancel the Motortrend shows. I thought with the chemistry you and Lucky had you could be a contender for the top spot at Motortrend TV. I believe this is just the motivation everyone may have needed to move to another platform like UA-cam . Just as the slow progress away from print magazines like Hot Rod to Internet based reporting is happening . This could be the movement of video based content. Thank everyone for what MotorTrend TV did for the Hot Rod culture encouraging "Good Enough For Now". Good Luck in the future
Back in 1972, I put the first gen LT1, balanced and blueprinted engine in my 72 Camaro. I didn't know better than to go on road trips with it and finally cracked one of the 2.02" heads while racing a Porsche through the mountains of Virginia. I still managed to drive it back to Eastern Michigan by taking a sparkplug out and turning the engine over so a stream of water could exit the cylinder. I kept an eye on the oil temp. and made it into my driveway. For fun, I put on a set of CCed angle plug heads and drove the car until the oil embargo made finding 100 octane gas impossible. The engine went into a Nomad Station Wagon, and I haven't seen it since.
You and Lucky can start your own Garage show in Boonville and back and forth to his place also. You two know everyone. Have guest appearances and stuff. It will be cool. No one watches TV amymore. You go Girl. You and your sister make a great team. Is Lucky permitted to leave the State ?? Ha Ha
Hard to give this any kind of thumb. Thumb down is so undeserved for all the knowledge and inspiration you all pass along on every episode. Thumb up would be a lie because seeing this all go away is sad.

Mike and David, Dulcich. Alex, etc,
They could totes film themselves doing a car pickup sight unseen and we’d watch the shizz out of it. I’ll watch it five times!
They all have UA-cam channels
UA-cam is the future for car shows..tv is dead..
I watch even more now actually
TV was dead when Motortrend's UA-cam shows moved to paywall app and TV yet they couldn't see the writing on the wall.
Yes please
I will follow you guys wherever you go. Always.
Thanks for everything Alex and lucky we gonna miss You guys
😂😂

I’m sorry guys. This makes me sad. I’m glad you guys had a good time shooting the last episode though. Hope to see you all in the future.
Glad you got to do this. We got to live vicariously through you, hang out with Lucky and whatnot. It’s gonna be pretty cool to see you concentrate 100% on your own thing though.

Holley basically owns everything now 😂
I would have went with Classic Rader wheel look of the 1960s !
Great show
I had a 1964 Impala SS that I had painted the same way. Blue with a white top.
Better things are going to become for all of you. THANKS!
Every ending is a beginning of what’s next❣️
Sad day to say goodbye. Mike from Japan

Awesome team, so sad!
Being your last day and all not one F was to be found. Stay golden.

I'll miss HRG but I'm subscribed here and on Lucky's channel.
Time to hawk your merch, you have a shop to support
Alex and Lucky have great chemistry. I will miss these shows. Time to do a UA-cam collaboration.
Now it will get better.
See ya here in CA gas prices.
You and Lucky can start your own Garage show in Boonville and back and forth to his place also. You two know everyone. Have guest appearances and stuff. It will be cool. No one watches TV amymore. You go Girl. You and your sister make a great team. Is Lucky permitted to leave the State ?? Ha Ha

I'm so glad that y'all are making videos like this. And that wagon is beautiful! Can't wait to see more! Also, did Lucky do a burnout in the wagon?
Just when i was thinking Lucky sure is behaving himself, pulls into parking lot and hammer down. Just no smoke show.
Look like you had fun on your lest day, whats next for Alex. hopefully i can see the episodes give that im in the UK.
U...known. it '°°% lov ❤️ of it

💯
