Alex, the dialogue you gave about being a test bed for manufacturers testing the limits of their products for the sake of expanding the limits. That was absolutely great to hear. I'm sure your sponsors and manufacturers also enjoyed it. It really helps explain how racing gives back to the improvement of products.
The way Alex was so there for Blayne when she realized how overwhelmed he was, i can't praise you enough Alex, your the epitome of what it is to be a decent human being!!!
Seeing Blayne crying tears of joy definitely brought tears to my eyes. That kid deserves every freaking second of that win. Congrats on second Alex! You got this next year!
That's only true in this fastest over all average game, the point she was making ( important and shame on Cleetus for not making that point) was , the normal braket racer, or no prep street racer, only uses about 8/10th's of the cars potential, so under those normal conditions you are not going to break the stuff they break, there is no need to push the car and equipment out to the hang on by a thread absolute utter edge , and abuse the parts and engine that way every time down the track. you honestly could not afford to do it like that ..and you don't have to.. if they were racing these same cars and parts under normal racing conditions like the majority of drag racers, a car like hers, or Cleetus, Baily, etc, would run 1 or even 2 full seasons on the same engine and parts, and not break anything. This type of racing is unique. It's the only one where you see people trying to break records every pass, and it misleads people thinking parts suck, and it's just not the case, .. most racers would never have a need to push the car that hard every pass.
@edwardspaccarelli5944 thanks, I was a little put off by Cleetus turning to his massive audience and complaining about breaking parts, especially pooing on the SMX, when every broken part is his fault . My goodness there are guys out there running full seasons, some even 2 seasons on their SMX with no major issues at all. Sure Cleetus never broke the big block as much, but he was shooting for mid 8's then, not mid 6's, the normal Joe racer would never abuse equipment the way those 6 secound drag and drive guys do.
@@PsychobabbleRapp if you want someone to find the limit of what your engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, brakes, etc. Cleetus will! Rev limiter may have saved the engine? I don’t know if it would have reacted quick enough.
Congratulations Alex... Congratulations Dennis. Great job of filming Megan Great job of being Mom Debbie!!! So proud for you all. The 11yr journey has been fun to watch. Thanks for all you do for the sport I LOVE!!!
Great job Alex ! Your dad is a badass! Couldn’t agree more with your assessment of breaking parts. Any time you push a 3400 pound brick to over 200mph it’s GONNA BREAK PARTS !! If it was simple everyone would do it !!👍🏻👍🏻
I love how you always have time for the kids. They are the future of the sport. And Nolan is an absolute valvetrain genius. I knew he was pretty sharp but listening to him and your dad in the last video really impressed me. Great job both you and your dad deserve it!
I'll say what most guys won't . What makes Alex is that she is a regular woman who has blemishes and acne and isn't always "dolled up" in makeup acting like she's special . She gets in there and with the help from sponsors and a very supportive family they get it done . Kudos to all involved in this !
Absolutely…… I was fortunate enough to get to both days at Byron and Wednesday in Iowa. What impressed me was the fact that she took time while she was busy working on the car to engage with the little kids, especially the girls, when they asked for her autograph. She didn’t just sign and send them away. Hopefully her spending a few minutes will inspire one of those youngsters to follow in her footsteps.

He is so controlled and ready to race and win, and perfectly prepared to drive and win YET his tears and emotions show he is in touch and aware of how awesome his week has been and doesn’t take these opportunities for granted. Alex you are amazing and it was so awesome that you helped give Blayne the hug and kindness he needed. I say all this in response to Blayne BUT …..ALEX YOU FREAKING ROCK! Well Alex...I've been watching your channel since your 1st video. I've literally watched you grow up. I've watched your whole family, even your cool puppy be involved. I've seen you work as hard as your Dad. For some reason when I watched this video I got teary eyed. Tomorrow is father's day and my daughter is your age. And to your parents, congratulations, you guys raised two very cool daughters! Much love Taylors!!!
Every video of your's makes me emotional & having to wipe tears from my eyes. 😢 It is awesome to see the camaraderie & spirit amongst the drivers, crew & organisers. Well done.
Alex, you have improved your presentation and thought for the videos by huge strides. Nothing is going to stop you! You were cutting up more in this video than any video before it. It is good to see you let go! The world of public figures is crazy, as you dress to feel good, while others think you're dressed for them. I have to say this job isn't for most people. The big problem is, how others try to influence you, and they have nothing to add. People are still trying to figure out why I wear a hat all the time. They reason everything from working in country music, to Texas, to horse training, but not once do they see the fair skin and the freckles! You have to learn how to let it go, give the ownership over to others, and don't let others tear you down. In other words, be yourself no matter what they say or do! This is how you reach the point where others love you and have no idea why! The fun part of leadership is getting others to relate to you, the easiest method is to show a vulnerable part of you. The problem with this, is the insane people will want a personal relationship as they relate too much. So build good walls, defend those boundaries, and be sure to have a back-up plan if the insane get over your wall. I like to have 2 friends as bodyguards; one for insane women and the other for jealous men.

Wow, what a credit to the sport you are. Describing what your parts and manufacturers go through to develop their products and how you explain that it is not crappy parts was awesome. Great job!!!
I rarely comment on your videos but this time I just have to say, I've been watching Alex Taylor grow and race for a long time, I've seen the ups and downs you and your dad go through in the ventures you pursue on a daily basis. But there is one thing I have never seen from you and that is the great big huge smile you had on your face when you accepted that guitar! Congratulations young lady, you are amazing in many ways. Keep doing what you're doing and we will keep watching.
ATR and DTR are the ultimate test bed for any manufacturer out there, it’s is truly outstanding what you guys put that equipment through in a weeks time. Nice job and congrats on the guitar!
Tremendous team effort congratulations for making it through to the end of the event. That last pass was a wild ride great driving keeping it on the race track. Thank you for posting all of the great videos on your UA-cam channel
The manufacturers absolutely needed that "long rant" from you. .......I personally think that way too many people are stupid. Pardon my French. At least here, you and Meg can't edit out French. 🤣 Seriously tho I'm betting that some people driving an F350, towing a 17' 5th wheel trailer on the highway might be scared to buy a gear vendor's product because you guys broke them multiple times. There is zero relationship.... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING comparable in towing a 17 5th wheel trailer to what your car endures....... It's like comparing apples to dump trucks. Thank you for standing up for these manufacturers and giving everyone a realistic explanation of how the racing world works. You did them all a great service explaining the problems youve had.... ....and you explained it so well. The only thing more awsum is watching the last part of this video. You guys are an absolute riot. I can't begin to imagine a video if there was a couple empty bottles of wine and pitchers of beer 😁 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I like to have 2 friends as bodyguards; one for insane women and the other for jealous men.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sound advice ......................I had a teacher in seventh grade that would give sound advice for the future ; he used to say , " A word to the wise is sufficient " ........
Congratulations! And thank you for bringing us on the journey.
I have nothing but major respect for you and your family.
You go woman your dad and family. like that envy no one
Wow, what a credit to the sport you are. Describing what your parts and manufacturers go through to develop their products and how you explain that it is not crappy parts was awesome. Great job!!!
Congratulations Alex. Meg did a great job
Congratulations Alex and Congratulations Dennis... Congratulations also to everyone directly involved with these guys!!!
Good work! You 2 earned it the hard way. Dennis has gotta be one proud papa
Watching you and your dad work was awesome, cool to see what you two are doing.
CONGRATULATION ALEX....
CONGRATULATIONS everyone on a job well done!!
ATR and DTR are the ultimate test bed for any manufacturer out there, it’s is truly outstanding what you guys put that equipment through in a weeks time. Nice job and congrats on the guitar!
I loved watching the vids this year. You guys killed it. I love watching Dennis and Alex working together.
🤣 Seriously tho
I'm betting that some people driving an F350, towing a 17' 5th wheel trailer on the highway might be scared to buy a gear vendor's product because you guys broke them multiple times.
I can't begin to imagine a video if there was a couple empty bottles of wine and pitchers of beer 😁
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
