- Prismacolor pencil PC1017 one of the most unused underrated colors in the Prismacolor 150 set. Hoping to provide some blends and options for those of you who are struggling to find uses for the clay rose color.
Some blending options and a short tutorial on how to use clay rose in an application more advanced artist will likely have more uses and other ideas more videos to follow for clay rose and more videos to follow on seven other unpopular colors in your prisma color set .
Hoping those top eight colors will become more useful to you in the future .

This is my first time to your channel and I am so glad that you came up in my suggested videos tonight. I am a professional artist and the very first pencils that I ever had were prismacolor premier. I have since been turned into different things for the type of art that I do but I do still occasionally enjoy using my prismas in my coloring books which is where I do my experimentation and my relaxation. A few things that I noticed with you that truly impressed me could be quite a list and I hope it's not too long LOL. I love that you actually sharpen your prismacolors and show that they are not breaking left right and center. The thing I tell people no matter what pencil they are using is to use light layers it's better for the end result of your image in general as well as avoiding hand and wrist fatigue. The weight of the pencil itself will do the job for you you don't need to "smush" them. Also on a personal note I had no idea that I could zoom in on my screen thank you so very much I am so grateful that you told us that.😅 Although I don't need a lot of instruction I always like to see other people's techniques because I do learn from you as well as in color combinations there are things I wouldn't have thought of that are just gorgeous on this video and I can apply it to more than my prismacolors using similar colors. Thank you so very much for giving beginners good well-presented easy-to-understand methods of using and not wasting their pencils or harming their hands and wrists. I am subscribing and we'll be watching Whats up next and I really hope to see more than prismacolor on your channel.
Absolutely appreciate the feedback. I’ll do more advanced videos here and there but I do try to make everything simple to follow simply because there are so many young talented artists out there just beginning l. I’m just a colorist but agree with you about the Prismas. It’s all about technique with them and light touch is key.

Everyone has their style , just do it how you like. It’s all about relaxing and enjoying yourself. I try to make beginner how to along with more advanced steps and tips so that everyone can learn and follow if they want. Shoot sometimes I just like to use my crayons 🥰

It was , I’ll will try to zoom in closer you can also rotate your phone and zoom in on the video the same manner as you would zoom in on a picture. My little fat kitten kept shaking the table- I may have to put her in time out next time 🤣
Bigger screen makes real difference!
You need to zoom in on the video if you’re having a hard time seeing videos. It’s the same concept as you would use to zoom in and out on an image or photo
