This is basically the 60s sound with some 70s mixed in to make a mishmash of retro music. Of course the Last Shadow Puppets did the exact same thing and of course, they were like two trained monkey puppets. Of course the 60s up to the 90s was the best period for music. You'll notice that not long after the Brit Pop thing ended, music gradually got worse to the point where we ended up with the label produced trash that's put out today.
