  • On Thursday, a group of a US Senators wrote to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They said they are profoundly disappointed and concerned that Canada will not meet its two per cent of GDP NATO commitment by even the end of the decade.
It's a failure that the Senators say will harm the alliance and the free world.
Prime Minister Trudeau replied on Friday morning that his government “recognize there is more to do,” and assured they “will be there to do it.”
CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses the letter with journalists Robert Fife (The Globe and Mail), Stephanie Levitz (The Toronto Star) and Robert Russo (The Economist.)
Our panel also talks about the latest Abacus Data poll about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre.
