Rory is the best car reviewer on youtube hands down
Two words... Henry Catchpole.
@@NiTeHaWKnz Yes. This man knows.
Jason Cammisa
But does he have the "quirks and features" of Doug Demuro😂?
@@geirthieussbimkravahl or the stick of truth of Mat watson. But yeah you have a point.
Rory you’ve done it once again. Through your exemplary writing and the crews cinematography, you make me truly imagine what it’d be like for me. Amazing guys, thank you
'Trans cinematography'? What the fuck?
Transphobic comment 😆
WOOPS! LOL! Corrected 😅
@@GiovanniiRosa it must have been the disappearing tow ball😉
Is great that it has the towing hook, so owners can tow their fuel tank for trips over 50 miles
😂🤣😂
Its nice that it's powered & keeps others back
🤣

🤣
Rory...to be honest I'm not an SUV guy, but you've shown a side to this 300,000 dollar, 193 mph, 3.2 seconds to 62 mph, luxury hyper-hauler that seems my life would be awesome if only I had this Aston Martin truck.
Take My Money Now!!
I'm going to the loose change machine!
Yeah I'm not a big fan of them either, they are often too bulky, needlessly large, crammed interiors & never have the engine power proportionate to their weight...
But this little SUV is gorgeous, plenty of power, lovely shape & compact design while maintaining interior space!
And it looks like it's glued to the road with a well balanced body that is not going to roll over on a Corner lol
While I'm pissed off that Aston has jumped on the SUV bandwagon, I suppose it was inevitable, and this is a very good restyling of what I feel is a fairly dull base model DBX. Nonetheless, I'm happy to keep my 1987 Vantage X-pack and my fully restored 1985 Lagonda
Phenomenal. Thanks Rory and to the team. Best car content going these days.
@@alunesh12345 You got the wrong God unless he can help me own that car.......
I just like how i don't have to watch ads before AT videos start! Thank you guys!
Absolutely amazing cinematography as always. Rory being the top car reviewer, hands down. Keep it up you guys!

Having bigger tires in general will increase friction yes. On a track however there are a lot of factors at play. If you come out of a corner faster which is possible with bigger tires/more grip, this can make up for the extra friction you have in some cases. Besided if the engineers optimized the car/motor for bigger wheel it can possibly put down more of the power effectively onto the track/asphalt which will increase speed/acceleration instantly.
Intriguing!
Lmfaoo bigger tires don’t have more friction… everything you wrote is nonsense
The cinematography has been on point lately, great review 👍 One critism, it feels like I'm watching a slideshow on those panning shots, especially on mobile/PC. Any chance you can upload in more than 24hz?
Having larger wheels means that you have a larger torque at the wheel, which is very useful in the track. The downside is that you lose top speed but that is more desirable in the track. Excellent video Rory!
I would love to know where these videos are filmed, both the car and the scenery looks stunning!
Another video reviewing this vehicle said they were in Sardinia. So if they're on the same press launch....
somewhere in southern Europe for sure.. would like to know where though
My favourite channel 4 car reviews! I think you do the best job out of all the different ppl that do reviews on UA-cam, it’s always fun & exciting 2 watch ur videos!!
Great reviews! Perfect combination of facts, emotion and honest opinions about features and design!!!
I find it astonishing that there are enough people with a quarter of a million quid (with options) to spend on this and the countless other 6 figure vehicles which seem to appear at the rate of one a week. There’s something wrong about it all.
it will still be hunting around trying to find petrol at fuel stations like everyone else
It’s astonishing that people are able to earn more money than you? Sounds like communism to me
Thank you, been anxiously awaiting a review like this since the 707 premiere.
Great review, great content. Brilliantly made.
Hi rory I got notification from so many other channels too but I choose u to watch it bcoz u have ur own class totally unique and different for me u are the stamp if u say it's good that means it would be damn good I trust u eumyes closed love and greetings from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
What the DBX should have been from the start, or at least a slightly more aggressive model above the base model.
I love this guy's introduction on all his videos... I'm here thinking wow and also how???! 🔥🙌
Rory! My wife and I miss you on TV. Your presenting style is brilliant. 👍🏼
I'm happy they have all the buttons, it is far better than a touch screen. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Fascinated to see Rory proudly showing off his BBT, err, deployable Towbar at 3m20 ! Superb must-have gadget. All it needs now is extending-axle tyre shredders, as seen in Goldfinger ;-) ... Seriously though, that primitive 'infotainment' system could well be the 707's Achilles heel and the sooner Aston sort that out the more customers they might appeal too. Otherwise a superb and very tempting vehicle.
@@alunesh12345 His name was Brian and he blessed the cheesemakers. You know all about that, yes ?
Got one on my Focus 😁
@@robinhunter4501 .. Bless'sed are the Focus Owners too ;-)
Thanks for another fantastic test drive Rory and team, however it would have been lovely to have taken a wee minute to get a look at the interior at the same time. After all, this is probably the only time I'll get to 'be' inside this car 👍😂 stay well one and all👌
Brilliant commentary and presentation as usual, great car and well demonstrated, are there yet any reliability issues, let us know Rory, keep up the great work!
Awesome ride! Rory, you and your team nail it every time.
Excellent review Rory as always! I think you need to drag stripe this against a Urus, now!!!! Remember, "There can be only one!!"
Another 1st class journo bite - well done Rory and team. You're on your way to great things lads.
How is this channel not at one million yet come on guys what are you waiting for subscribe for more insane videos like this one👍👍
Excellent review, beautifully done!
6:39 I’m a learning engineer, but one of the things they tell you in Forza (which does translate to real life in the upgrades menu for what tuning each component does) is that larger wheels keeps the tire from deforming and maintains a larger contact patch more consistently, resulting in more grip than on a smaller rim
The look is simply unreal. I'm usually not impressed by the boutique brands but wow. And that matte paint is something else.
It has the look of a Ford Focus/Puma about which is weird 🤷♂️
Rory is the no1 youtube reviewer 👏
always a pleasure to watch Rory!
Man the way you do your, videos Thai, channel should have millions of subscribers, by they soon will, it's by far the best Channel for cars

follows the classical Aston Martin formula: beautiful exterior, wicked performance, fine interior materials…oh and the decade old infotainment technology 💀
seriously kills the vibe, not that I’m a potential customer, but I’d never spent that kind of money on a car that hasn’t the latest and greatest technology all around…
Rory will make you rob a bank just to buy one of these machines... truly epic cinematography and compelling review... only the best 👌🏽 👍
Just go Rob the CIA 🤣
Excellent review, as always. Love the car and colour combos. 👍
It's a well known fact that bigger sidewall on the tires gives you a better ride, better steering feel, and also up to a point it allows the tire to flex more and give you more grip, the only reason for bigger wheels is bigger brakes
Fr, Aston Martin just wants people to pay up for big wheels.
Do you get a bigger sidewall with the 23s? Or are they the same profile as the 22s?
@@AutoTraderTV not 100% about on this car but on most the actual diameter of the wheel + tyre is the same so you get more side wall on the smaller wheels. If they were a different diameter the gearing and suspension would have to changed which would be more effort than it's worth.
Rory you are brilliant as always!! The rain and theatrics and all!
Clever with the deployable tow bar 😂
Came back for another look ... This 707 with the Mansory make over is Chef's kiss!!
Yep I’m buying that in may
Beautiful car, amazing review!
Side note, was funny when I added the ability to reverse time to the features in my head at 2:55
👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼notify for your new investment opportunity and guidiance...
Exceptional as always!!!
Re handling: Bigger wheels mean there is slightly more tyre contact on the road surface. Not width, length, due to the shallower curve of larger wheels. So better handling.
Physics claim otherwise. Bigger wheels come with wider tyres.Wider tyres change the shape of footprint. Same tyre pressure ALWAYS results in the same surface area contacting the ground regardless of the wheel/tyre size.
@@ms-jl6dl As a tyre development engineer of 30 years, you are incorrect. A larger diameter tyre has more tread on the ground. Compare a 13 inch rim to a 23 inch rim.
Great video Rory/ AT team, Very nice Aston!

Hey Rory a small suggestion needed which would u pick bw dbx 707 vs cayanne turbo gt?which would be ur pick?

Aye the tow bar bump parking deterrent was a brilliant thought.
Rory you are simply the best, keep it up
Massively enjoying the Rory Reid drip chronicles
Valid point regarding the old mercedes infotainment system. When you buy the latest vehicle you want the latest parts, not a Frankenstein put together. The car looks awesome, great mechanical improvements but why would you pay for a top of the line release model with an old outdated infotainment system? Two steps forward, one step back. Aston need to get this part of their winning combination sorted.
This Channel Deserves more like and views tbh
The Sound 😳😲😯😮😱😱
100% once again well done Roy!
That is one nice crossover hope to see one in person but judging by how many Aston I see probably not
Rory, some Ti alloys have a sort of matte tan hue similar to the car's color, so that's where Aston is coming from. I'm with you though, it's olive green, but you can't justify a huge up-charge for that.😄
What route were you driving, Rory?
Thank you for a great review of my dream car!
If I'm not mistaken it was involved in a fender bender. because the front bumper lines r little off and saw a Crack on front left bumper below the driver side corner of the grill. 🤔😉👍
👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼notify for your new investment opportunity and guidiance...
for that money the front bumper and hood/bonnet should line up perfectly. Looks like its had a front shunt already
Thanks mate now I can't unsee it🤣
Looking at one now. Lamborghinis and Bentleys are so common. This stands out. I'm going to reserve putting down a deposit until I see one in person. I wonder if this is going to be limited production like the vantage 707.
Yeah they've done well!
I had a look at some Bentleys, nice interiors but then I learned they only have a 12 month warranty & an average life span of 40,000kms 🤣
I'm accustomed to an engine that can handle half a million kms & still perform like a star...
Autotrader just doesn't get the views it deserves .Great vid as always
Good shots and well edited 🎖️
Looking very nice..Thank you for driving.
My number 1 dream car of 3 for everyday use.

Rory didn't stop smiling once :p
I have a question. I need to choose 1 SUV for myself for this year. Which one is better ? DBX or new 2022 Range Rover vogue ?
Absolutely STUNNING 🤩 the very best….
Nice video but I wished you’d shown more of the inside/interior in this review.

Yey
Just great, great film, great car..
The Rory talks like he has watched enough movies of Micheal Keane or Morgan Freeman, great presentation as always 💪👊
Great vehicle - awesome green looking
Rory is there a soft limiter on this car. How is The sound in comparassion to The older version. Would it be good to modifie it so you have a louder sound.? but sick car
googled tires for a DBX on tire rack....around 800 to 900 per tire you definitely gotta play to play with high end cars especially those with these odd sizes
This color is way better than the blue in other reviews
Bigger, heavier wheels can help you get around the track faster IF the circumference of the tire is bigger/longer. One tire rotation with a larger tire moves you a further distance. It's all about the circumference. Of course the motor has to be a little more powerful to deal with those heavier tires. Drag racing uses cars with very large back tires.
I think it's more to do with sidewall flex rather than the up-gearing effect of a bigger wheel (which you could get just by slotting in a longer final drive). Bigger wheels = smaller tyre sidewalls = less sidewall flex on cornering = better handling. Also allows for bigger brake discs as well.
Great review
The Urus is still my baby, but damn this thing is a close second. Great job as always on the review.
This This This!!!
Much classier than a Urus IMO. A little more subtle and luxurious than the In-your-Face Lamborghini style.
@@Scotto97 Yep they should have called it the lamborghini triangulus
