Very nice. I have two perkins braillers where the backspace keys fails at certain points. I assume due to gear wear? This is probably a common point needing repair.

Not gear wear, most likely a loose chain.

why is my brailler making ghost dots
Needs servicing. Lubricant has dried up, and there is dust in the embossing assembly
