ranked adventure is still one of the biggest things fh4 has over h5. its not great and its a bit incomplete, but i keep coming back to it cause i am getting bored of fh5 since there is no ranked in the newer game

Horizon 5 was a downgrade (other than graphics). What I hated the most was the map, I mean who even wants to drive in a desert in mexico....

Horizon 4 feels more authentic, more real, more warm, and intentional! Thinner backroads! Horizon 5 has mostly 4 lane roadways disguised as 2 while 4 has many more realistic width backroads. I wish there were more in both

Make sure to pick up 4 as from December 15, 2024 the game will be delisted from Steam and the Microsoft store digitally and physical copies will sky rocket in price

@@bzz5309 Bought it on steam as well. MS promised that you still can play the game after it got delisted. Not sure if it also applies to the steam version, hope so.

Just got into Forza horizon games about a month ago and FH4 is awesome, wished i would have played this game when it first launched 🤷♂️
I'm not that big into racing games but put 60h into FH5. Enjoined it pretty much with my g29 wheel. What i didn't like though was the progression system.
I mean you can chose a beast of a car right from the start abd get even better cars every minute in the game. I rather like to start small and really earn the best cars with good driving later. A new car should be a real reward not a gimmick.
Yeah I agree with you there. Supercars should be something special to obtain, not just an ordinary Wheelspin Reward.
@@ShadowRacing I really love racing with everyday cars in games, it makes it more realistic, makes you feel the adrenaline without putting anybody in danger - especially in open world racing games with traffic.
My dream game would be Assetto Corsa in an open world.

Driving model better on 5 but UK roads are more interesting
Not entirely sure I agree that the driving model is better. The cars feel a bit too light in FH5 imo.
Nowadays i only play FH4 1 week per month (The Winter season) its just so fun to cruise around

Yeah, Horizon 5 seems to be forgetting a lot of good Cars that just weren't so high profile in the game.
After playing 4 so much I was hyped for 5 but it just didn't feel the same as 4 and I didn't play the game as much as I thought I would
Horizon 4 was the better game for me. You touched on this, but the progression was so much better though still inferior to earlier Horizon titles. In FH5 I just taped the controller and left my cars running endless Goliath races as I went to work and in the end of the first week I’d have a full garage without much effort. But had I done it by actually driving it would have been on the grindier side due to lack of meaningful content in the game (at launch).
I didn't even use AFK methods to get rich fast in FH5, and I still got rich quite fast.
Horizon 4 is getting delisted from everywhere at the end of the year, kind of wondering if i should buy it just because I won't be able to later
Yeah I'd say it's worth it.
Not gonna lie some of the shadows in FH5 look impossibly dark and unrealistic. FH4 just does driving roads and a fun experience so much better. I mean if the minor difference in sounds is SOOO important then I guess FH5 is for you but FH4 just does so much better. Both are amazing tho.
Imo fh5 has way better features, physics and overall quality of life. However, fh4 was more lively and felt like an actual journey. Fh5 basically just said “here are some races and stuff, go have fun”.

The fact it's more played than FH4 really comes down to the fact it's been on Game Pass for so long.
Then having more Cars than FM7, is also not too surprising, because FH5 is a lot newer.
