I would love another Land Before Time movie that has the tone of the original movie, or a movie with more serious topics. Like Chomper questioning his place in the Valley. Or Littlefoot actually rightfully getting made at his father for not being around, and leaving his mother behind
Honestly Ducky’s whole “selfish villain arc” in the skystones episode was actually really cool to me as she’s rarely if ever the type of character to ever do anything that’s not nice so it was an interesting change of pace for her. Plus people can get mean/neglectful when they really want something so.
I was in high school when this aired and honestly since it was around so long in my life I was kinda surprised that it had a cartoon until I THINK during summer vacation randomly seeing it early in the morning
I was surprised when I first saw it since I grew up mostly with the films as a kid. I didn't have cable for the most part growing up though so I only saw it a couple times in fourth grade when we were at a hotel.
I used to love this series as a kid along with the movies! (Although the great longneck test was the only episode I never saw because it was never released on DVD at the time…)
Oh snap i remember my parents buying the dvd and watching some of the episodes you mentioned what a coincidence i get reminded of this show a few years later down the line lol

I remember finding out about The Land Before Time Series when Sprout decided to start airing it (anyone remember Sprout ❤️) Out of the episodes I remember I think my favorite may just be the log rolling one, probably because it was the first one that I saw on the air, I didn't like the tooth one and lone dinosaur returns but that was just because of my dumb trauma coming back to me from one specific thing in both episodes (don't ask... I also find it stupid), other than that I love their concepts, but obviously, trauma, even if it's dumb trauma, is hard to get past 😅
Here’s a few things: 1. I agree what you said about ducky in Search for the Sky color stones, and 2. The Hidden Canyon is just too gosh darn Awful for me to watch. I claim it to be the worst of them all. nothing makes sense that episode. And 3. I totally agree on The Hermit of Black Rock. The characterizations between Guido and Petrie stands out on a wholesome sight.

I do remember seeing the show on cartoon network. But it was always at super early parts of the day. 7am and sometimes 10am.

Red-Claw (T-Rex), Thud & Screech (Raptors)
I never even knew there was a TV Series :0 But why are so many female dinosaurs pink??
I'll give the feathered ones a pass, the pink triceratops are all Tria's fault 🤣
I mean… I discovered this series at an older age (like 11-ish) and I liked it :/
I still do actually
You've reviewed the films and show, but do you have the courage and mental fortitude to review the video games next?
Hold up, that exists? 😭 I definitely need to look into that, I had no idea there were video games too!
@@D_Macabre Yup, there are apparently 14 which is as many games as there is movies
