it’s mostly 1/14 scale trucks and construction and support vehicles/equipment no gas powered no fast RC no crawlers although one guy putted around in a huge 1/5 scale 4x4 they aren’t necessarily banned but you’re driving around others that are thousands of $$ and hundred(s) of hours invested it’s not a place to bash around so as long as you’re respectful of others they are pretty open to what people bring.
@@Trucker1970I sure hope we can be at "50s Fest" in sept! Yep that's the name over there. Everybody in my house became Positive for the reason we weren't doing meets last year.
There are many places to source them. What are you looking to start with a semi or a piece of equipment? If it’s a semi they are kits but ones already built do pop up for sale from time to time. Then the big question is how much do you want to spend? A kit without any electronics starts around the $500 area for a semi. The equipment depends on if it’s hydraulic or electric actuators hydraulic starts around $1500 and you’ll probably work on it more than play with it at that price. A small excavator that’s all metal weighs 12 pounds and can actually dig the earth can be had for $500 it’s 1/20 scale it’s not hydraulic but has real excavator control pattern on two joysticks. A lot of people start with that. It’s called a Huina 580 or 1580 they are the same thing. The semis you can search 1/14 Tamiya and find them.
Awesome video, had a blast! Lots of great people and amazing equipment!
Sorry about the chopped up conversation just upset. Need to proof read sometimes.... Lol
Is this a heavy equipment show only? Other RC's involved?
