Raikkonen's happiest moments in F1: The end of an interview
F**king finally!
Or when he gets ice cream
Or sleeping before race
Or chilling on the yacht when the car breaks down
f**k this is so true 🤣🤣
"First race with Ferrari was ok"
Pole position, race win and the fastest lap
gotta love him
As he said it was okay. :]
and he won it by some 30s gap :D
Classic Kimi😁
He was referring to the setup of the tyres and the car. It was nowhere near what Kimi wanted.
That's the point. Kimi was 100% right. They never got the setup right for him from 2007-2009.
F1’s most universally liked driver.
Simon Aldred That’s not as well obvious from TV transmissions but I’ve been at races between 2014-2018 in Hungary, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Austria and from what I saw at the tracks but also on the streets, no other driver even comes close to being loved and having fans like Kimi does, I knew it was and was still very surprised of what I saw.
I think the only current driver that can hold up to him is Ricciardo, but from the retired ones there are still Hakkinen (coolest guy imao), Senna, etc.
@@Tobi-pw3tc unfortunately I don't think both Senna and hakkinen are universally liked, there are a lot of haters out there
@@d3xmeister It's the humility of his character that is pretty rare.
@@d3xmeister Kimi has not broken into the top3 in jersey sales by season ever. But I agree that his fans are the craziest when it comes to banners, flags etc.
Kimi doesn't just drop the mic, he *breaks* it. lol
Kris A no he would subconsiously try chug it down thinking it was Vodka then drop it as he realized it wasnt
Kris A- He would say just one word. lol
Given the choice he would take it along and use it for singing in a Karaoke bar.
Thomas John Solidum you went
too far lol
Kris A golden
How would you describe your favourite race?
Kimi: It was ok.
The car was okay.
"I was happy when I won the championship, great memories"
*proceeds to blankly tell the story and stare to the camera*
Gotta love this guy.
Bwoah
Not even OK....pretty ok :D
It was okay I won
"Yeah, they sold some shi-

Don't forget that Kimi got 101 podiums in his career. So 1 out of 3 race start he will finish top 3
@nhan cao 103
103 until now
he also has participated in about 30% of all races. the stats are unbelievable to think.
Hes a consistent driver👌

me: yes
this ;D
yes (me too) :'D
@Alan Ali 10 'how many likes can i get..'
Kimi: Pretty OK, it's no problem
@Indivar Dhillon yeah sure, if you say so then we must all like Skimi.
Amazing how Kimi only won 1 race but lost the championship by only 2 points in 2003!
If you see stat from the old f1 the difference between no 1 and no 2 is not much gap compare today system
If only Mclaren's reliability didn't strike in Nürburgring...
Remember also that it was in a souped-up version of the 2002 car, as McLaren's actual designed-for-2003 machine was so fragile and unreliable it never raced. Making Raikkonen's accomplishments that year even more extraordinary!
Kimi 2003 > Alonso 2012. He was insanely quick, the quickest since Senna in the tyre war from 2002-2006. He outperformed the car MASSIVELY.
It's crazy to think that without McLaren's reliability issues Kimi could've even been a 3 time champion or if one more little thing went wrong for him in 2007 he could've never won a WDC
The one dislike is from Kimi himself...bwoah he didn't want to do the interview
there is more , who could be the others??? O.o
🤣🤣🤣
@@skybear3530 It''s a stunts who subtitute "real" kimi in another interview.

F*cking finally
Interviewer: Right then Kimi, what's your top ten favorite races of your career?
Kimi: Five is ok.
Bwoah
Since he has joined Alfa Romeo, Kimi really has looked a lot more comfortable. Must be nice to finally escape the pressure of Ferrari.
It's a shame that Alfa's have been struggling quite badly after the first few races.
@Phillip Leite Yeah that's actually I meant. You could see it last year when the announcement of him moving happened. He talked a lot more freely in the press conferences.
@adamkur It's simple, At Ferrari; No 2 driver under Vettel, at Alfa; No 1 driver under nobody. For a guy of his skill and experience, his status, he should never have been made No 2.....
When you get to an age where you got nothing to prove, you definitely want a change of scenery
Especially since Ferrari has done nothing but choke hard this year 😥
He’s liked for much of the same reasons as Niki, no bullshit, straightforward.
THose types of sportsmen who say what they think are allways the best ones imo
And Lewis is hated for making bullshit and isnt straight foward
Well they are Finnish and Austrian so their cultures are no bullshit but straight forward to the point

@@PineappleForScale For sure.
They should do a movie about his whole racing career, i feel like he just ended up in F1 somehow 😂
@@Joe_Jenkins404 That's a joke right? He was the most dominant driver in the history of Formula Renault, +70% win rate and went 2 seconds faster than Pedro Diniz at the Mugello test in 2000, prompting MSC to ask Peter Sauber who the hell he was? He ended up as the most inexperienced F1 rookie ever.
Wins a race "we are far from where we want to be"
Well, Ferrari seem to hate the podium now
He was referring to the setup of the car. It was nowhere from 2007-2009, his instincts were 100% right. One look at the onboards of 2007 will tell you Kimi was not driving the car how he wanted.
It just shows that he does have strong demands and style of setup that truly does matches how he wants his car to be
TheIceKiller, *_CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM_*

I'm actually pretty happy seeing him not in Ferrari anymore. The man only wants to race but the politics in that team is just INSANE. Sure, it's kind of impossible to win (or even getting podium place) any race with Alfa Romeo car, but as I said, he only wants to race and that's exactly what I want from him. To see him enjoy the race and not be bothered by some politics bullshit.

Did he pick these or did F1 pick these?
@@ciaronsmith4995 I'm guessing F1 didn't pick these. Their number two inclusion in the Top Ten Kimi Raikkonen Moments video was the 2005 Japanese Grand Prix.

I have simple taste, I see kimi, I like
The fastest driver in the world from 2002-2006. Undoubtedly. During that period, on the Michelin tyre, at McLaren, he was the quickest driver I have seen since Senna.
AN ALL TIME GREAT AND UTTER LEGEND. 2007-2007 he still managed to win a title despite HATING the Bridgestone tyres and the cars.

21 wins. 100+ podiums. A WDC.
It still looks good!
*Mclaren-Mercedes not just Mclaren, and Mercedes money and influence was very strong at the time...

The race that will remain in my heart is Japan 2005 when Kimi made a crazy comeback and at the end made a super overtaking at Fisichella. As a Kimi fan I remember that my heart almost burst with the happiness of that special victory.
Suzuka 2005 is my fave, epic race !!
overall, my most fave raikkonen is when he race under mclaren, the combo which him with that suit+ that young iceman face + the arai helmet+ the silver arrow car+fastest race from him + ron dennis fatherly to him....is perfect!
F1’s most universally best driver!
Imagine that Kimi has driven most of his single seater carreer in the biggest racing serie in that category. Only 20 odd races in the Junior formulas and now 300 races on in Formula 1. Amazing. PERKELE, what a legend!
Definitely there was someone in f1 who make kimi memorize his wins
Kimi passing Alonso through Eu Rouge is definitely my highlight
Back when Todt was at the helm at Ferrari, that time when strategies were great
Disappointed that 2005 Monaco isn't on here. Kimi made a 35 second gap to THE Michael Schumacher in only 15 laps and went on to win the race by 42 seconds despite being the only driver to pit under green while the rest of the field had the benefit of pitting under safety car. Absolute masterclass of a drive.
*Kimi* needs his own Series on this Channel
I have not seen a faster driver in the 21st century than Kimi Raikkonen in the tyre war from 2002-2006 at McLaren. He was easily the quickest on the grid those years. Once Bridgestone became the sole tyre supplier in 2007 things changed....
Kimi is the best that F1 has, truly the Iceman is an Icon
When Kimi quits F1 everyone will miss him. F1 needs more characters like him. True man.
Finnish people are known to be gentlemen but I would count out Bottas because he's being controlled too much by the team than himself.

He looked very happy in the video. But looked the happiest when the interview ended.
I'm surprised he didn't say Suzuka 2005, that was a legendary drive from him!
Astonishing that he didn't pick any races from 2005.... Suzuka is my personal favourite, 17th to first. If you didn't fancy Japan then Spain, Monaco, Canada, Hungary, Turkey & Belgium were also on the list.
I've never heard this quoted as a statistic, it's just as I remember it - Back in the days of single lap qualifying where if you won last time out you got to go last in qualifying when the track was at its best & if you dnf'd last time out then you had to go out first - Kimi is the only guy ever to have gone out on track first & set a time that put him on pole. He did this more than once. 'nuff said.
Thoroughly agree, his 2005 drives were astonishing, I'm glad someone still remembers. Although accomplishing his sole World Championship with Ferrari, I would personally rate any of his McLaren drives above those with Ferrari.
What an amazing driver and even more amazing Charakter. Maybe the most charismatic driver in F1 history.
Kimi is awesome! 😍 @f1 thank you for such contents! ❤️ #formula1 #kimi
I wasn't a massive fan in 2005 of Raikkonen mainly because I was a Renault fan nothing to do with him or his driving skills. But have to say his drive in Suzuka in 2005 was one of the best drives you will see.
