Bless him. Utterly incomprehensible to lose his son at just 15. RIP Daniel

I can remember when his son passed. Truly tragic and I can feel this man's untold pain . All I can say is have faith as one day you will be reunited again.

I always felt Terry was underestimated by the Leeds fans back in the day . Mind you , the whole team were . Years later the same fans look back with nostalgia .He scored one of the best goals I ever saw at Elland Road and hardly got a cheer .Graham Souness held him in respect as a real hard man and top geezer ..nuff said .Best wishes Terry .

Life is loss -- it's true for everyone -- but I feel great sympathy for Yorath here, even, no, *especially* when he admits his reaction to grief made it worse for the people around him.

The fact he had a decent football career is astonishing considering Revie was all set to let him leave after serving his apprenticeship. Terry even saw the letter on Revie's desk. Ironically, Revie wanted to keep on another aprentice, but this boy was one of twins and revie didn't want to keep the other twin. The boy's mother said Revie had to sign them both or not at all - and nobody was going to tell Revie who to sign. Both twins were let go and Yorath Signed instead. I wonder what the domestic situation was in the twins' household after that. "I could have been playing with Bremner, Giles, and Clarke if it hadn't been for you!" Always annoyed me that the Gelderd End made Yorath a boo boy - he deserved better.

I liked Terry Yorath's slap-mullet from back in the day. The slullet is an outstanding hair-do.

As a Swede I always hated him for the execution of Andersson in the European cup final of 75. I do feel very sorry for him and his family for the tragic loss of his son.
