I feel the same way, I’m not a person to buy luxury bags at full price. This style of bag I have wanted since the 90’s so it has a lot of sentimental value to me!

Hi how many numbers does it have for the serial number. I am buying a vintage ophidia like what you have and wanna make sure its aunthentic.

There should be a total of 11 numbers and 1 letter. Mine is broken up into two. There are * before the second set of numbers followed by the letter. I hope this helps! 🙂

How much did you pay for this bag ? I’m finding all sorts of prices on them and I don’t want to spend too much . I’m not sure what a good price is for a vintage bag
Hi Renee,
At the time I purchased mine which was a little over a year ago when the bag was first super on trend I paid $600 CAD for this bag. Now mind you the prices vary based on the quality and condition of the bag. Some can go as little as $300-$400 but the inside or outside of the bag might not be as in great condition. It depends what you’re looking for. I’ve seen these go now vintage for about $1000 CAD. I wouldn’t spend more then what I spent on it. I think if your going to spend a grand then at that point you might as well consider buying new. Also mine has the certificate of authenticity on the inside which is rare to find in the bag let alone one that is in great condition. Good luck to you!

Laila Barrogo Hi hun this bag is a medium size. Since it is vintage it falls in between the larger and smaller size Ophidia bags that are. Currently sold at Gucci. Hope this helps!
