I love this song! For some reason I think of the Collie Raffles in "Rover Dangerfield". "Can't stop now, I'm working!" He needs to lighten up once in a while. As do we all once in while. Thanks, Keith.
I FREAKING LOVE this song. Reminds me of summer days when I was a kid running through the grass in bare feet and playing and then later hanging out with my friends.
I remember jumping on my bed when i was little screaming this song! My brother would get so annoyed, and my mom would clap her hands and sing along. Now i'm a teenager, and singing it still!!
Evry time I hear this song I can't help but smile and sing it as loud as I can because it reminds me of when I lived in Mississippi I love this song so much!
I remember where I was when I first heard this song on the radio and first saw the video. I thought he was cute and pretty funky and I loved the song, so I had to check him out. I've been a fan ever since. Went to my first Keith concert in December 2002 in Lynchburg, VA at Cattle Annie's. Many shows since then and all were fantastic. As for the hair debate, I love the short hair here and in "Your Everything" (love the hair flip at the steamy mirror, mmm, mmm) and I also love the longer hair from the Golden Road album. All hair aside, I just love Keith Urban's kindness, humbleness, and incredible gift of music. I hope he creates music for decades to come.
Just saw Keith at his residency in Las Vegas and he was amazing AF! He looked and sounded like he cut this yesterday! He can play the guitar like a MF'er!❤
This is still one of my favorite video's of Keith's. He is awesome and has always been. He is an incredible guitar player and all around entertainer. I saw him at Soldier Field a couple of weeks ago and he rocked!!!
Keith Urban does! The point of the song is that he's getting out of the city for a while and going to the country..where the blacktop ends. Keith says he will always have a country influence. He has a unique style and he is aware of that. That's what I love about his music. What ever his music is called, country or rock..who cares, I call it damn good!
This is a greta video. I like Keith Urban should've kept his long hair, I really believe that this song is a greaty achievement for him and it suits him very well. It kind of reminds me of something that I would like to do in the future. Just get in my car and drive with no destination in mind, just keep driving and see the country.
@juice817 You, sir, have just won the internet. I applaud you. Wish there were more people like you here. Anyways, great song, thanks for the upload (Even though I'm 5 years late :D)
This song is so perfect for me and my good friend, as we grew up together our daddys made fun of us as we get older i hope our ending will be just as good3
I agree, I mean look at waylon jennings, when he first started everyone said hank would turn over in his grave if he saw the way he played, and oh, does the guitar Urban is using look familiar, its a fender telecaster, same thing waylon used, different design, but same make.
When I first heard this song on the radio when it was released.. The DeeJay said after it was over.. "I wish I could kick off my shoes and run in bear feet!"
Ok, so he's not "straight up" country...he's more pop/country, WHO CARES, the dude is soooooo freakin' talented that it doesn't really matter, just sit back and feel his music!! The same can be said for Rascal Flatts (another fav of mines), but I DON'T CARE, I still love them!!!!!
@jazzyozborne i saw him live right after this album came out... i was 16... ive been in love since... its fun to say, yeah, i saw him when he was just starting out, but i want to go to a show now!
Used to love this video as a kid. Watched it on CMT. Too bad it's not in better quality, on the official channel. I guess it's considered lost media then. Someone might have recorded this to VHS, you never know.
Was that a ventura? Had a gold one with fiftys on the back and sixtys on the front , 350 under the hood and my dads old friend built the racecin tranie after he died. The moter out of his race car and didn't find out till later. Som Bitch would fly!! Got in a little trouble but it was funnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks dad!!
@jakethesnake121394 the song is about wanting to be in the country and about looking forward to being in the country, so he's in the city wishing he were in the country. it actually makes sense to have it take place in the city. but I didn't make it and have no control over what the record company did with it.
@emmawilson2013 i remember this song from when i was little, i like the older country stuff from when i was little, i think some of his newer stuff sound even a little poppy. i kinda agree with this statement alot.
my god it took me YEARS to find this song from my childhood O.O FINALLY!!!!
Born 'Keith Urbahn'. ACC's #30 song of '01. Steve Wariner wrote it. God bless ya, brother Steve! Thanx, juice, for postin' it. Have a blessed week!
Keith killing that guitar riff while looking cool as ever. He brought a extra rock star swag to country.
I love this song! For some reason I think of the Collie Raffles in "Rover Dangerfield". "Can't stop now, I'm working!" He needs to lighten up once in a while. As do we all once in while. Thanks, Keith.

Who would think Australia would produce a country singer!
Why wouldn't they? Who says country music has to only come from one place?

The older songs are better than the new ones
