How does a Roth IRA own an LLC? I have an LLC for my side e-commerce business. And I have a Roth IRA. How do I give the Roth ownership of the existing LLC?
The Roth IRA has to be self directed, meaning you decide how the money is invested. Then you can begin using the funds from that account to start or invest in an LLC.

The series LLC will be used as a holding companies for each separate property. Since they are holding companies you don't want an EIN or bank account. The Master LLC is the company that you will get an EIN and back accounts with. I think you would have the master LLC open up a bank account for each separate property. I am not sure if one bank account is allowed as comingled funds could cause all properties to be exposed if anyone one was sued. You need to keep them separate I think so only the property being sued is at risk and not all other properties as well. I am not sure on that bank account part though. The tax return is easy. All the income and expenses go under the one Master LLC on your schedule C. The net income of the schedule C is brought over to your 1040 tax return.

@@dasfahrer8187 You are actually just opening up multiple bank accounts with the master LLC and EIN. So there are no separate entities owning them only that one entity owns all the accounts. Each properties income goes into a different account. I have not set it up myself. But that's what most tax attorneys were recommendingly that I talked to. I have no idea how this would work and practice though. Like which account do you pay expenses out of. Can you then funnel the income from all the accounts into one master account then. I'm not really sure because most people give you like an overview so you know what the strategy is. But they don't go in detail to where you can execute it on your own. You're pretty much going to have to work with someone to set it all up and hire someone.
