Mrfreeland123. You can’t decide to be born again spiritually or physically !! It’s God who makes us alive! It is God who chooses!! Being born again is a act of God given to the believer! Jn 3v 5-10. Ephesians 2v1. If the Holy Spirit is convicting you of sin and drawing you to the saviour Jesus then repent and believe the gospel! And Jesus will save you from your sins !
Romans 10:9-11
9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame

@@GypsyReBornz sorry for the late reply I've only just seen your comments .That's a very kind gesture and I appreciate it ,I'm not from the travelling community myself but I have a great amount of respect for your culture.
I did actually get a bible, thing is with me I have an inbuilt scepticism, I believe in God but I don't trust people in power and I've no doubt scripture has been chopped and changed over the centuries .
I grew up in care and we had staff who were Muslims, Christians etc and even from a young age I could speak with them for hours about religion and I was fascinated by theology, and especially the book of Revelation
Now I'm seeing it play out pretty much daily I don't want to be a Christian just to save my own backside ,I want to actually believe and feel the holy spirit, but I don't,there's just something stopping me eventhough I've been praying quite regularly recently . Sorry to ramble on its hard to explain here but again thanks so much for the kind words

Read John 3:3-7 And ask yourself if you had ever been born again like Jesus said you must be to inter into the kingdom of God.
And I'll leave you with this, Isaiah 1:18Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as. white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
Revelation 7:1414 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
So the bible tells us the the blood of Jesus washes away all our sins 100% but the Catholic Church says we must go for a final cleansing into purgatory.
So my question is do you believe the bible or do you believe the Catholic Church???
If there is such thing as purgatory that means Jesus failed. and if the Catholic church lie to you about that what will they not lie to you about?

We see in the holy bible that the thief on the cross believed on Jesus, and asked that jesus remember him. And Jesus replied, on this day you should be with me in paradise.
We are that he had faith in God. Eph 2:-89 says, for by grace are ye saved through Faith not of yourself it's a gift of God not of works lest any man should boast.
So if you believe in jesus christ with all your HEATR and confess him as Lord of your life, sincerely repent and ask him to give you his holy spirit, then you shall be born againg, it's that simple. Have faith in God. Read loke 11:11 it tells us that we can ask out heavenly father to give us the holy spirit.
You see the bible tells us if we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.
I would also like to encourage you to read 1 Timothy 2:5 it tells us that jesus christ is the only mediator between us and God. So you don't have to go to a priest or pastor to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says draw near to God and he shall draw near to you. I pray blessings over upyr life shalom

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV so my question is it is the will of god for us to good works the we should walke in them but what if I do not do this works would my faith alone still save me and get me to heaven

I was though to do works of penance, you know, a work for Goda grace. But if we have to work for it, then it's no longer grace right ?
So yes, faith without works is dead. I dont believe it's impossible to have an Encounter with God and receive his holy spirit and not work. The works are a reflection of our heart, no longer dead works.
Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from *dead* works to serve the living God?
James 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
What's the work God called us to to ? Ephesians 4 tells us, 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, ( living people) for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
I'm an evangelist praise God. Casting out demons and healing in the name of jesus christ, I have a long way to go and a lot more growing to do. The holy spirit is teaching me and revealing more to me. So you see the work is not my own. God began this work in me and he will take it to completion. All I have to so is step out in faith.
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, *that he who began a good work in you* will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
To be honest. When I receive the Holy Spirit baptism and encountered the power and love of God, I couldn't keep it to myself at all. No one could get passed me without hearing about the goodness of God. Praise his holy name. I love Jesus so much he gives me a joy that's not of this world.
Oh, and may I ask what gifts of the spirit has God given you? I really pray the God will use you to preach to Nations and save many Saul's for the glory of his holy name amen jesus loves you so much.

The first law of BIO GENESIS, is that all life must be born from LIFE. Life cannot be born from death (non living). (Google it, 1st law of bio Genesis). So that being said, scientifically what was the first living thing in the universe??? Not just on earth, or out space. but in the whole universe. And where did it come from?? Every living thing in our universe must have a parent so to speak. So how can it be the first living thing and still come from a living thing. Unless it come from a living thing that was outside of our universe. That way it was the first living thing and still come from a living thing. Because it's parent so to speak come from outside of our universe. And it must have had an intelligence to put it here.

Jesus said in the Gospel of John 37 you must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
And also do you do penance? Did you know a penance is a work for God's grace? Even though the Bible tells us in Ephesians 2 Verse 8 - 9 the Gods Grace is free?
Did you know that the Bible says that all have seen fell short of the glory of God, but the Catholic church teaches that Mary was sinless, even though she can first be in a singer in Luke 147 when she said my spirit rejoices in God my Savior?? Anyone who is free from sin does not need a Savior.
There are many many more contradictions where the Catholic church disagree with the Bible. You should check out videos that expose the Catholic church and their wickedness do you know anything about the inquisition? If not do your research is just history everyone can research it.

They said they have not even heard of the Holy Spirit. Peter baptized them (again) laid hands on them and prayed and they received the gift of the Holy Spirit, spoke in new tongues and prophesied.
So can I ask you what gift of the holy spirit you have received??
And what work your compared to do for Jesus, simply because you love him.

@@patrickdinnegan2291 also I was a Catholic for 28 years. Fear woke me up every morning for as far back as I can remember. Depression and an eating disorder.
Only when the holy spirit came in did they leave all glory to God.
So what happens to me was, my desire for Jesus increased, and there was some kind of changed inside that I can't even recall.
But my family were asking me what church I go to because I'm no longer a Catholic.
So I took them to St Thomas More's Catholic church that I went to every Sunday. The point is this, when you receive the Holy Spirit there is a transformation, you can't meet God and stay the same.
The Bible tells us to repent and be baptized, and we know that babies haven't committed sin to repent of, what in the Catholic church they are still baptised, it doesn't really make sense to me.
You see I receive the Holy Spirit before my water baptism outside of the Catholic Church, the word baptism in Greek means fully submerged, underwater of course.
You see the water baptism doesn't save, if we look at the thife on the cross who asked Jesus to remember him, Jesus replied today you shall be with me in paradise, the man on the cross did not have time to confess his sins to a priest, received water baptism, or to do any of the Works that the Catholic church called people to do for salvation.
If we could work or way into heaven Jesus would not have needed to die for us.
