    I have used for windows cleaning: pure vinegar. In spray 20% vinegar - 80% warm water. A gallon cost me about $3. The result is fantastic.

      Yeah, honestly, you can buy an extremely solid arsenal of products for less than $500. A pressure washer can also make a world of difference 😂. I bought a cheap 1600 GPM one for $70 at Walmart and it lasted me about 30 hours before blowing. But that’s nicks and dimes plus the time that I saved.

      I use 50-50 or full strength 99% rubbing alcohol with MANY microfiber cloths, the secret is realizing that the microfibers get clogged with oily residue so constantly flipping and using many towels helps a TON. Split the windshield into 3 maybe 4 parts. Keep cleaning with rubbing alcohol until it becomes grabby and hard to move the microfiber. I found the best way to see if the windshield is dirty is to do it at night with a single light shining in. Once the windshield is completely clean, use 2 coats of rain x for the exterior and coat the inside of the windshield. This seals the glass and prevents more oils from clogging the "pores" of the glass. Buff off fully. For that last step, put 2 coats of rain x antifog and then fully buff off. Don't forget to leave a brand new clean microfiber in the car with you once your done in case you are driving one day and see a spot you missed but with the rain x exterior already on the windshield it should come right out.

    • @zacho8961
      @zacho8961 6 років тому +7

      Also, DO NOT put rain x of ANY kind on tinted windows or windshield

    Only you could make a glass cleanig video interesting, lol.
    I'm glad that I cleaned my glass the riught way all along. I use clay on almost everything to get rid of all the contaminants that I can't really see.
    Talking about smooth surfaces, sometimes after washing and drying the car I forget and put my microfiber towels on the car (hood especially , since cleaning the windows it's my last step) and 9 out of 10 they slide away from the hood into the oblivion, haha. One second they are there, the next on the floor. Curious what the next video will be about.

      @@PanTheOrganizer Hey thanks for the reply dear. As I type, I just paused one of your videos for Turtle Wax Shine.
      I actually am into cars and specially love making them shiny since I was a kid like at the age of 8 or so. Used to take Formula 1 yellow color polish or wax wax those days and spend the whole day lol.
      Currently I'm 30 years old and learning all these latest things to practice with my car & also have a plan of getting a license to open one of the good brands for Pakistan 🇵🇰 where I live. We have experienced people who have learned Ceramic coating from the US and UK and also provide services but at a very hight cost with products like CarPro etc.
      I want to open detailing outlets here which are affordable for eveyone. Unfortunately we don't have any institutions here to teach us such stuff. So I'm just getting knowledge through your type of channels and honest reviews.
      So yea, you're a great inspiration and teacher to me and all watching your videos.
      Respect and warm regards to you and family. GOD bless you and keep up the good work.

    1. Why dilute the product? Isnt it better to use it raw for more efficiency?
    2. When do I need to dilute it?
    3. What products can I dilute?
    4. What are the ratios? Is 10 to 1 always the best?
    I really have been trying to figure out these questions but I cant 😭😭😭? Pkease help.

    Agree to dropping the window down a tad to clean the top part. I also go one step further and apply rubber care by Wurth to lubricate and condition the window/ door frame rubbers to keep them lasting without going hard for as long as possible. BMW have a thing about dry rubber seals.

    All you do is spray down the windows with your favorite window cleaner and use a magic eraser and some elbow grease and your Windows will look just like new.

    I would like to see you do a video on cleaning the inside windows. Especially the front and back windows of a sedan. Any more it is the hardest part is the inside windows because they are so slanted and the area is hard to reach. The inside front windshield gets that smearing haze on it. I noticed it is worse on Toyota cars, Every Toyota car I have since 89' has a horrible time with that haze on the inside front windshield. Seeing you doing that to the front windshield would be very helpful. Thank you!!

    Great video as always. One thing that no one mentions and is driving me nuts is how to clean the window sills if you can call them like that so that the freshly detailed window doesn't get all dirty straight away when you open the window. This is particularly annoying when you have frameless doors like I do as the window goes down by about half an inch every time you open the door ruining the looks of the window and adding a strike of dirt. Keep up the good work!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  5 років тому

      I had two vehicles with frameless windows (Audi S5 and BMW 435i Gran Coupe) and there aren't any miracles for that. That's why nobody talks about that. It's the way the window works. Even when blow drying a car with a car dryer, it can't remove all the moisture within the door, so as soon as you open the doors, the windows crack open and when you close the door again, the windows roll up and so they create streaking. My glass is usually spotless so it hasn't really been an issue in the past, as the water would just evaporate and leave no streaks. Keep in mind I have a water softening system at home, so my water contains almost no minerals.

    • @gimenofm
      @gimenofm 5 років тому +1

      Thanks for the reply Pan. My issue is dirt on the actual sills because most of my cars are relatively old, with time those rubbers, which have some sort of fabric or fibres on them, get soaked up with grease and all sorts and the streaking is kind of dirty rather than just water. Great channel btw I only discovered it a couple of days ago and have you in the background at work!

    I have a new car, an Audi, with some residue on the windows. Looks like perhaps residue from a protective sheet on the glass, also some round circles on the windshield, perhaps a suction cup, and some hand written numbers on the back. None of these are visible but can be seen when the glass is wetted with cleaners. I've tried invisible glass, Mothers clay with a car shampoo lube, alcohol solution, vinegar, and even very carefully goo gone. The goo gone removed a few small areas where there was visibly some sticker mastic, but not these other hidden contaminates. Suggestions?

      It's both..... most of the general random stuff I imagine being from a protection sheet or wrapping is on the outside, as well as the writing (like someone had written a shipping number or something in temporary marker on the back window). The round spots I recon are suction cup marks are inside the windshield...maybe 6 inch diameter with several smaller concentric circles inside. Is it common to have to polish glass on a brand new car?
