That sync absolutely rips. That sound is just so much grittier and aggressive than my 3340 modules. Guess I gotta bust out the soldering iron now.

One thing I've found that saves me a ton of time on builds is if I'm using metal for the panel, I will just ground it using one or two wires to the stripboard, this means you can omit the ground connects to the shaft pin for all of your jacks. If I'm using metal body pots, I just bend the leg that's supposed to go to ground over to the pot body and solder it to itself. This drastically cleans up the wiring and makes things a bit easier to look at.

That's actually not such a good idea because there will still be some resistance when you go from aluminium faceplate to steel from the sockets. This VCO is particularly sensitive for grounding issues so it's always a good idea to wire up the ground on all the sockets you use. For instance I built this VCO and I had problems getting the external pulse width CV input to go to 0%. It would still influence the Pulse Width even when turned fully off. Grounding the input socket solved the problem eventhough it was mounted in a aluminium faceplate that was grounded to the stripboard. But you can still save on wiring when you connect all the grounds together by weaving a copper wire through all the ground lugs on the sockets, soldering them in and then solder the wire to the stripboard ground.

Yes, I think all the Thomas Henry's modules are great!

Sounds great! This might be silly but liked that you tested for continuity across the drilled holes. I might have taken that for granted! Thanks for sharing and providing the resource!

Wow super nice build. I do a similar thing with drilling and my results are never that neat. Sounds great too!

This video is incredible. I’m blown away by how thorough you are at every step. During the calibration part of the video, what is it you are calibrating specifically when turning the screwdriver while viewing the waveform on the oscilloscope/ when viewing it with the smart phone based tuner?
I appreciate any more knowledge you share in advance! GOODLUCK on any future projects, regardless if they are shared on UA-cam

      Thanks!
What I calibrated with the oscilloscope were the shape of sine wave(symmetry&roundness) and the smoothness of ramp wave's slope. Then I calibrated V/Oct with the tuner.

Anyone have information on how the decal was applied? That looks really good. I'd like to do that to some of my own work.

That led visualizer is ingenius! Does it have just voltage divider CV->Led Vf, or do you have something else in it as well?

Thanks! If I understand correctly, what you are saying is probably a 'LED Jacklight'. moorwols.blogspot.com/2021/12/eurorack-jack-plug-light.html
