It seems very disingenuous to say that Supabase is written in TypeScript when only the cloud functions and one of the client libraries are. Supabase is made of GoTrue authentication layer written in Go, Realtime component written in Elixir, PostgREST written in Haskell and various PostgreSQL extensions written in C and Rust. The cloud functions are done using Deno which support WASM modules as well.
speed comparisons with supabase is of interest as also would be any disucussion around use of and extending pocketbase. The idea of deploying a sinlge go binary into an orchestration platform like k8s or k3s is very interesting as I believe it is bound to be more performant in terms of resource required, let alone efficiencies brought to the table by go as a programming language, as opposed to a fat single threaded app written in Nodejs frameworks
Ran into some isses running Pocketbase on ARM64 unfortunately, so no raspberry pi pocketbase for now. It's an open issue they've been working on. Really excited to see where this project goes. Very cool.

How do you manage data backups? Since SQLite is living in the binary, does every time you deploy a new binary your data is lost right?
It would be better if we can have cloud support also with the database of our choice instead of sqlite
