Please follow visa conditions and instructions. I think usually it should be 90 days.

I finally got an invitation from NSW 190 visa in June and then got nomination and submitted visa application in mid June. I've done medical checks and police certificate before (as I was applying SA 491 visa before I got the 190 invitation).
So far on the online portal my application is still listed as "Received".
Does it mean that no case officer has started reviewing my application yet? Or, as I should have every documents ready and submitted, could the statuschange from "Received" directly to "Finalized", skipping the "Initial Accessment" and "Further Accessment" status?

Is it ok to submit EOI 190 for NSW and submit separate EOI 190 to VIC?
I am also wondering this… Does this mean you must only submit EOI to NSW to be considered?
Yes. You definitely can submit more than one EOI. As for state nomination, based on what NSW website says, you must submit individual EOI for each state and territory you intend to live in, or you will not be invited by state and territory.

At this point, for those who have waited for 190/189/others for 30 months, even over 40 months, should we be contacting the department or taking any action? Some transparency on if we are still wanted is all I would hope for.
Yes, this is so frustrating, we are waiting for so long almost 37 months and no one is giving any time frame for our visa grants. This is the limit and they are inviting more people. They cant handle the backlog and now open for new ones

I need help from you. I submitted my EOI for NSW 190 with 85 point in which I claimed all my employment history however ACS result has deducted 2 years of experience. (I cannot also change the EOI now, removing work exp will reduce 5 points)

Hi Carl,
I have been told as well that I cant apply for 494 as I need 3 years of experience after deemed positive outcome assessment. Not a total of 3 years experience in relevant occupation. I think this will be a long spiral for some 491 and 494 holders by the looks there will be just add ons on many other requirements in the meantime before they optain 191.

@@estellebright2579 yes you’re right, but for 491, the requirements are still very high. And for 190, they are still inviting people with higher points. And also they haven’t given any update for extending 485 visas for current 485 holders. 🙁
@@anmolmanchanda3884 which begs the question: do they really want people to move to regional NSW or not?
As for 190, yeah they still invite people with higher points, but no longer obscenely high points (tell me how an accountant can get 110 points...magically having 5 years of working experience with Australian degree of 2+ years while being less than 33 years old?).
As for 485... heh, DOHA probably already forgot about this promise, despite the implementation is super simple: issue a new visa to existing holders with new "Must not arrive after" date.

Lets be non biased, they are doing things simpler but not very much simpler.
They still need to do ease with their requirements.
I am living in Gosford(regional) since last 3 yrs and still requirements for 491 are very high.
Lets hope they will ease it as the financial year ending comes closer.
@@anmolmanchanda3884 if past few years is of any indication, end of FY is usually when they stop inviting large number of people. This year could be different, but all we can do is wait and see. I am one of them who got completely caught off guard on April 2019 when DOHA all of a sudden massively dropping invitation quota, making 189/190 near impossible to get for lower score. Only after 4 years I got another chance. it's that brutal.

After receiving 190 in NSW can you move to Victoria or any other state before serving 2 years time frame, if yes do you need a solid reason to do so ? Does this effect residents return visa or citizenship? As it is all over internet and everyone is saying that they can deny to renew visa or give citizenship due to this reason. Please guide us 😊
There is no legislation or visa condition restricting you to move to another state or territory within the first two years after your 190 visa is granted. Karl also has a couple videos talking about this (search “Are you fit for release”). In summary, you are free to move wherever you want within Australia after the visa grant. You may choose to notify the state about your intention to move to a different state before the 2-year obligation period, but it is not enforced, and no impact to your citizenship application either.
Can 482 medium stream apply 190 visa and if invitation received , is it legal to accept ?
If I receive an invitation from the state of NSW, will they ask for documents proving that I am financially able?

Greetings, i received NSW 491 visa pre-invite recently. I am confused about the regional areas. I found this text on NSW website, "'regional NSW' refers to all of the state except the metropolitan areas of Greater Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong". I've recently married and got my wife on visiting visa which is granted 3 yrs (3 months in and out).

I have completed masters from Australia with the course duration being 1.5 years and 72 credit points. Can I claim 5 points for Australian qualification? Last they i checked they needed 92 credit and 2 years of education. Please help
Must be minimum 92 weeks
@@santoshpandit524 that means it is a 21.17 months means, 1.7 year, 3 semesters of a course. As for 24 months (2 years) it would be 4 semester. So you saying if i have completed 1.5 years or 72 credit point masters i can claim 5 points? Correct me if i am wrong

Recently I saw NSW treasurer saying they need 300K-400K workers in NSW over next 3yrs & then this requirements come which will definitely make that figure unachievable for sure, does he even know about this!. Many TRs are already leaving NSW & no new students will come. Maybe he was talking about 300K-400K nurses & teachers who knows, it seems political as there is still Liberal party in NSW. Labor is saying make it easy so they won’t listen to federal government & instead made it more difficult. In current rules they won’t even get 3K-4K applications, hope Labor starts giving 189 invitations to Engineering occupations onshore waiting on 90,95+ points before it is too late. And again, even Labor wants only Nurses & Teachers & giving priority to offshore. It is all a mess & we onshore are just making fools of ourselves.
