Hi Karl. I'm an admin for one of the biggest skilled migration groups in Facebook. I have been following your work for close to 4 years now. Although I personally do not use an agent for my visas, I have seen throughout the years your dedication to help, sharing of knowledge, your transparency and professionalism. This is why you're one out of two agencies I trust and recommend when people ask me for recommendations (although I don't tell them to refer my name to you). Keep doing what you're doing. Kudos.
Thanks Karl as promised with a new video you did manage to enlighten us with the move. Just to clarify this video focus 491/494/191 I hope this also applies to 489 as well. we continue to follow you. please keep updating us...
Thank you Karl for empowering us to make decisions without being in constant fear. It's unfortunate that States have to result to bullying and intimidation to pursuade migrants to stay. I agree that fear is not the most strategic method to attract migrants, other incentives including tax benefits, housing affordability and other supports are equally important. Hi Karl, really appreciate your content. I now understand we can move and work freely on a 491, but if we wanted to apply for permanent residency later, would we have to comply with the 3 years minimum in our nominated state regardless? Or is there leeway on that too? Thanks!
hi, Sir You are giving always good information. we can move the state after the visa grant at 190 visas. And live in any metropolitan state for example Melbourne or Sydney. But they affect the future application such as it could affect your Citizenship application in the future it could affect your future visa applications to sponsor a spouse, etc, and your overall immigration history.

Hello Karl, could you please help me with a few questions relating to 491-sbo QLD program, thank you very much Currently I’m running a business which was previously purchased for 100k, and I have the intention to apply for QLD 491-sbo, I have a few questions hope to be cleared: - As mentioned by Migration QLD, I cannot relocate or sell the business before receiving QLD approval. Currently, the business is not doing so well, so I’m looking for opportunity to sell the business. Can I sell the business right from the moment I get nomination from QLD, or I have to wait for visa grant, which probably takes a further 6 - 8 months? - Migration QLD also mentioned that I need to operate the business for 3 years from visa grant, does it mean it must be the same business, if yes I found it’s contrary to what they mentioned earlier? Can I sell this one and relocate? Once again, thanks for your time. I’d appreciate your response.

Hi, Karl, We have recently received the 491 provisional visa for ACT. I would like to know do we need to be in same area. Can we move to any other regional area...like Adelaide ?
Hi Karl, your videos are very helpful, thanks for sharing this info! If you move state on the 190 visa within the first two years, can it affect future visa applications such as sponsoring a partner / parents and also applying for citizenship? Many thanks, Jessica
Excellent logical explanation and matter-of-fact advice. Good 👍 thank you so much. The best in your field on UA-cam. Straight up sounding facts check and clarity to us in layman terms.
I read online that if you don’t do the minimum of 2 years in your nominated state that when it comes to citizenship they won’t grant you it due to this. Is this true?
You mentioned that there is a grace period of 3 months. Is it advisable to move states during processing time before the 491 visa is granted? And can you move states straight after the grant or should you wait some months because of that grace period you mentioned?
Hey Karl, Good work it is quite infomative video for Regional sponsored visa holders. my question is if 887 visa applicants who are now on bridging visa A can legally free to move anywhere they want
If your 489 visa has expired and you are on the BVA without limitations then yes you are free to move, live and work where you wish Yas. Thanks for your comment

Hi Karl, just need to check on 3752 SOUTH MORANG (VIC) post code, is this code is a 491 regional area code? After 491 visa grant I live in NT for 2 years and 3 months already due to high crime rate we planned to moved to post code 3752 VIC. But most of my friends told me this code is not under 491 regional code.? But this code is in Immi website. Will that be a problem if I move now to VIC ? Highly appreciate your suggestion on this. Thank you so much.
I don't think South Morang is a regional postcode. It's still considered Melbourne. Did you move? I am in NT and planning on moving to regional VIC as well.
Hi Karl, thanks for another excellent video! Now that 491 processing times have increased a lot (reaching up to 20+ months) Could you also clarify about the ones that have already received nomination/already applied for visa but have not yet been granted? Would they also be free to move from the state that have sponsored them until they await to the visa grant to be process/outcome? It would be really appreciated hear some light about it, as like me, there are a lot of us awaiting looong for the visa to be processed. Thank you 🙏
Hi Karl Thank you for your information I’ve been very stressed about this I’m on 489 visa sponsored by Southern inland nsw ( working and living in nsw for more than 2 years, just applied for 887) however after listening to this , I feel more confident to move and work in regional area in Queensland and I think this won’t give me trouble for my 887?

Hi Karl, first I would like to thank you for the valuable information you provide that too in detailed manner.I have one query regarding 491 Northern Territory, its sure right that we can move from there? And can we move only to regional areas or states ? Can you please answer? Thanks in advance
Hi Karl, I am holding 491 visa and working in South Australia regional as Electrical engineer from last 1 .5 years, Now I have good opportunity to work in Perth as it comes under nominated regional area. So, can i able to move there. If I got job offer? Secondly, I am holding 8578, 8579, 8580, 8581 visa condition. When I ask to my Immi agent about my scenario, He didn't be recommended to do movement. He said i am committed to state for three years. If I take this step, is it negative impact on future 191 visa. Looking for your suggestion / Advise .....
Hi Karl, I have got 491 family sponsored visa from ACT and indue time I have signed a declaration which states I and my family must stay for minimum of 2 years. For my profession the opportunities are very least in ACT, if I get a good offer from other designated regional areas, am i allowed to relocate. Kindly advise.
There are always agents out there that perhaps should not be agents or perhaps are just not experienced enough to know better Parveen. If the department wanted you to stay in the region that sponsored you it would a condition on your visa, it is as simple as that.

Dear Karl Thanks for sharing the information i have one quick question can we move to another state after getting visa only or can we move before grant of visa as well for 491 visa. the territory i was nominated is nt and i check nt website and they have written that i cannot move.
Moving before your visa is granted depends upon what you agreed to when you applied for the nomination Jyoti. After the visa is granted you can move to any area on the list at that time. Please book a time if you would to discuss your circumstances in detail.
Hi Karl, thanks for your sharing. Most commitment do not take affect until the visa is granted. If you choose to no longer go to that state after your visa is gratned then you are free to make that choice Vineeth
@@ailsaustralia thank you Karl.
Hi Karl, what a great video! Thanks for this information. Just one question, how long is taking to process student visas at the moment? I'm applying with my family on April hopefully to be in Australia by September.
At the moment offshore student visas should have priority Ivan. Good luck
Hi Karl..also, when can we expect offshore 489 visa grants being issued. Case is in further assessment since dec 19. In Sept 21, Officers from Aus high commission India visited us. Since then no updates. Have been a long wait. Thnx in advance

Hi Karl
Thanks for your amazing videos.
Just one question
I’ve read online that you can move freely but this might affect your future application to the Australian citizenship
Is it true?
Thanks again
Hi, Karl, We have recently received the 491 provisional visa for ACT. I would like to know do we need to be in same area. Can we move to any other regional area...like Adelaide ?
Hi Karl, your videos are very helpful, thanks for sharing this info!
If you move state on the 190 visa within the first two years, can it affect future visa applications such as sponsoring a partner / parents and also applying for citizenship? Many thanks, Jessica
Hi jessica, hve you followed up eith this with anyone???
Hi would like to understand the impact of moving state with regards to the risk on citenship and pr application at a later stage also
You are great person. I like your all videos because its helpful. Thanks
So nice of you Ranjop thanks for your support.

Thanks for the feedback. Thanks for watching and supporting this channel.
I read online that if you don’t do the minimum of 2 years in your nominated state that when it comes to citizenship they won’t grant you it due to this. Is this true?
Hi,
I have nominated by ACT. Does it still valid scenario? I would like to move to Perth as my other family is in Perth.
Hi did you move to Perth?
Nope
Seems like with 491 will take ages to reach to Australia
Thanks Karl, you have made my day. 🙂
Glad to hear that! Make the most of it!
Hi karl just i want to know that canberra 491 pple can relocate?
When compare to other states?
Thankyou.
Hi did you relocate?
You mentioned that there is a grace period of 3 months. Is it advisable to move states during processing time before the 491 visa is granted? And can you move states straight after the grant or should you wait some months because of that grace period you mentioned?
If we have original colour scanned copies for uploading, should we certify them with notary? This is for 190 pr visa
Thank you so very much@@ailsaustralia
Thanks mate
Any time! Sagar. Thanks for watching and supporting this channel.
Thanks karl. May i know if its same for the RDA sponsored 491? Nsw rda
yes RDA 491 or simple 491 no any difference in both. Even I am nominated from RDA NSW
Hey Karl .. any information regarding subclass 407 ?
It is still there but processing is slow. We have a video on the 409 visa Surbhi. Thanks for watching
can 491 visa holders buy property in a different state? If someone got 491 visa in ACT, can they buy property in Sydney, Melbourne?
Hi Karl, so can a person lodge two 190 visas? 1 for Victoria and other for NSW and move to state whichever gets granted first?
Thanks Karl 🙌🏻🙏
Good on ya 👍
My pleasure!
Does the same apply to 8539 condition of 489 visa? Looks like the video only talks about 491 visa with 8579 condition
I come to Australia
But very hard to find work
Rent cost a lot 2500 a month
Very hard here to support family
Many live on the streets
I gather enough money just to come home
Sorry to hear that, hope you can find some joy in bing here Dravid
Hi Karl, just need to check on 3752 SOUTH MORANG (VIC) post code, is this code is a 491 regional area code? After 491 visa grant I live in NT for 2 years and 3 months already due to high crime rate we planned to moved to post code 3752 VIC. But most of my friends told me this code is not under 491 regional code.? But this code is in Immi website. Will that be a problem if I move now to VIC ? Highly appreciate your suggestion on this. Thank you so much.
Hi did you move to VIC?
Thank you 🙏
Yes good topic for another video Fillipe. Will do soon
Please do a video on this topic many viewers would be interested
Hi Karl
Thank you for your information
I’ve been very stressed about this
I’m on 489 visa sponsored by Southern inland nsw ( working and living in nsw for more than 2 years, just applied for 887) however after listening to this , I feel more confident to move and work in regional area in Queensland and I think this won’t give me trouble for my 887?

Hi Carl, recently sponsoring state has sent us survey email regarding our residence. if we (190 visa) say yes we have moved state before time and give proper reason for that, would that impact on our stay or anything else such as applying to citizenship in future. Thank you for your informative video.
If your 190 visa is granted there is no legal requirement to respond to their email. This will have no effect upon your citizenship application Derek. Thanks for watching
Thanks
Welcome
Hi. May I know how to make an appointment with your consultant? May I know the duration and coat? Thank you

Hi .. can help suggest is it ok to buy property while on 491 visa … because firb and stamp duty tripled
Unfortunately that is not our area of expertise but trying to but property on the 491 visa has extra costs when it should not
Hi Karl, does this applies to 494 dependent visa holder as well? My husband is the dependant and will work in regional places for an employer who is based in Melbourne. He is a tradie so he doesn’t have a specific workplace but he will be taking up jobs such as loading/ unloading goods, painting, landscaping etc. Can he continue to work for the Melbourne company that he used to work previously but now in regional post codes only? Thanks
No 494 is not stae sponsored so is completely different. Please book a time to discuss if you are not sure
Hi habibi

Could you please make a video about being married while Ur visa in processing and how it will affect your skill visa point like in 189, 190 or 491 please. A great deal of people waiting for 2-3 years but can't get married bcos of points claim.
Hi Sharif yes we will be publishing such a video in April. Thanks for your seggestion
Hi Karl, first I would like to thank you for the valuable information you provide that too in detailed manner.I have one query regarding 491 Northern Territory, its sure right that we can move from there? And can we move only to regional areas or states ? Can you please answer? Thanks in advance
yes dear only to regional areas of Australia, Except Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane whole Australia is Regional area
Great information worth watching
Glad you think so!
So 190 visa = 189 visa ? Doesn't make sense
Hi did you relocate?
Hello, I too am in a similar situation. Were you able to relocate to another regional area?
I'm so confused. I've have 2 separate agents tell me that if I move then I will face issues.
There are always agents out there that perhaps should not be agents or perhaps are just not experienced enough to know better Parveen. If the department wanted you to stay in the region that sponsored you it would a condition on your visa, it is as simple as that.
Good job Karl.
Thanks Sharif
Hi Karl your video was excellent,i have recieved a 491 visa from SA ,however i have got a job offer from gold coast .what if i want to move but they refuse me,in that scenario what should i do or who do i seek help from ?

I got my 491 visa recently and I was nominated by NSW RDA stream. And NSW has sent me a mail at the time of nomination approval by NSW mentioning I have a commitment to stay in regional NSW for at least 3 years. Can you please tell me can I move to any state as I got nominated by RDA stream?
Please book a time to discuss complex issues which cannot be covered here
Dear Karl
Thanks for sharing the information i have one quick question can we move to another state after getting visa only or can we move before grant of visa as well for 491 visa. the territory i was nominated is nt and i check nt website and they have written that i cannot move.
Moving before your visa is granted depends upon what you agreed to when you applied for the nomination Jyoti. After the visa is granted you can move to any area on the list at that time. Please book a time if you would to discuss your circumstances in detail.
So say I was granted a 491 for qld, I wouldn't be penalised for my job being in not in the designated postcodes?
Breaching the conditions on a 491 visa can result in the visa being cancelled, so not advisable
Hi Karl, thanks for your sharing. The sponsoring state has sent me survey email regarding my residence on the thrid months and the sixth months after my 190 visa granted, if I move to other state within one year, will it impact on my stay and my parents' immigration? and should I apply release before I go?
Please book an appointment to discuss your circumstances via our website at www.australiavisa.com or call us on +61 (02) 8054 2537. Thanks for watching and supporting this channel.
Thank you Karl, it is a very fruitful video. But If I get an employer sponsor the Visa 186 to NSW or QLD, can this visa 186 replaced the visa 190 (such as TAS or NT)? And Immigration Department will not allow me to apply other visa while I am holding Visa 190? Thanks,
Very useful video Sir 👍, but question is that when will they start offshore Visa (190) application grant?
SHould be soon as the department gets its act together Vikas. Hang in there
Hi Karl, I got my 190 visa grant in NSW I have better job opportunity in vic can I move?, Or do I still need to fill any form, thanks

I would like to clarify for the current 491 visa, does the legislation apply currently. If granted 491 visa I move around to other state but stay in regional place.

Thank you for the information Karl, i'm now applying for 491 regional NSW visa under stream 3 and i'm not living in regional at the moment. If i get invited do i need to move immediately or after grant ?
After the grant Pardeep, you are not obligated to move before then. Congratulations!
