we cannot travel , but you travel for us all , thank you so much for your dedication and love for cats , Alfred us navy veteran
I love this country. Thank you very much for show casing it.
Like i have said before your videos are wonderful for us folks who can't get out due to health. Could be a lot longer.
Love being able to see a place before I actually drive through. Takes away a LOT of stress and anxiety.
You produce excellent quality videos, so enjoyable to watch. Thank you. Love your hat. It looks great on you. I also love Jax. Thanks for including Jax on the video. He has stolen my heart. Deadwood is a pretty place.
Absolute gorgeous area. I love seeing these smaller towns out in the middle of nowhere.
That dog at 9:01 scared the crap out of me too.
That lake and campground at the beginning looked like a place I would love to stay a while, just amazing!
As always, Eric, you do such a great job showing us the real beauty in this country. Thanks for doing what you do for us. Oh, and you too Jax.
Discovered you 3 weeks ago. Caught up by watching 10 to 20 videos a day. One 10 minute video every couple of days is a real shock to the system. I think I have to go out and buy me a van just because of the withdrawal symptoms I'm having.
PS Campervan Kevin's videos are helping reduce the anxiety. Thanks for the recommendation.
Hey......the hat looks good on you - safe travels amigo.
Deadwood was one of my favorite series. Thanks for sharing, awesome.
I enjoyed the heck out of this. Thank you!
I've always wanted to visit there; this was a great primer.
great video Eric and as always thanks for posting😆
I think it's awesome how you get to travel around and see the world!
I laugh every time I see Jax flop over. I have a Daschund and his front legs are only 3 inches long were his back legs are almost twice that long and he does the flop over thing too. Too cute.
That dog scared me too! The lake was beautiful with the blue sky above and all the white clouds. Doesn't get much better. Great video, wish I was out there too. Thanks!
Why so many nasty comments? Is it jealousy? Boredom? What?? Eric seems like a nice guy just doing his thing not hurting anyone. There's a hell of a lot of mean spirited people out there! No I'm not Eric, I'm just a normal mum of two from the UK who thoroughly enjoys watching these videos! Can't wait for your next one!
That is a really cool town, thanks for sharing with us. I jumped when that dog barked. LOL
Knowing that part of the country as well as I do me thinks you went north about a month early. Deadwood is a good series, I have it on cd's.
When going on a 3 week trip back in 1985 we went through that area and ran into cold and freezing rain and snow in and around that area in the middle of June, so be thankful that you didn't get any more than you did!
"cold shoulder", very good. Thanks Eric.
I love Deadwood. I was there in 2010 and I plan to go back soon. I love the history of the old west. The cemetery is really creepy just before sunset.
Eric ,love your Western hat ... And so enjoyed seeing Deadwood and the saloon where Wild Bill was shot. Thank you as usual for letting us travel with you. Give Jax a big hug for me .
Years ago we went to Deadwood and the Black Hills the first week of May for an early vacation. The first night in Deadwood we got 28 inches of heavy wet snow but had a great time in Deadwood. One of the must see places is the Adams Museum which is just a block or two off the main street. They have everything from an old 1880's steam locamotive to a casting of the largest gold nugget found right outside of town. Amazing (and free) place to visit.
What an interesting route, thanks for bringing us along. Great video.
Another great video Eric. Thanks for showing us around Deadwood and got a laugh out of the dog barking at you.
8:57 JESUS!! Had my headphone on, scared the hell out of me too! Just started watching your vlog, I like it! Safe Travels!
Eric, your comment, "She gave me a cold shoulder" was a classic. could not stop laughing!
That overnight in the forest service campground was beautiful. Rough place to wake up.
Some serious road construction outside Deadwood.

I said this on the Facebook page. Here it is again. That is the best intro ever: blessedly *brief*, visually appealing with drone scenically on the ascend, and the Jax meow at the end. Well done. Right good to check in again on Mr Jax.
Good video. The lake camping in the beginning was awesome!
Fun video. Thanks for bringing us along
Deadwood Trolley is nice, goes all over town well into the night.
Looks like an interesting place to visit. Stay warm and safe! Good travels
I live in the NE corner of SD. I will be spending an upcoming 5 day weekend backpacking in the hills sleeping in a hammock. Can't wait!
The dog barking at you was the best bit, ha ha ha, I would've dropped a few pebbles too.
you are moving right along Eric ! Keep up the awesome videos my friend
I wish I would have known you were coming. Haven't been on your channel lately. So glad you made it to South Dakota. Love watching you and your adventures! Keep on keepin on!

Thank you great tour of Deadwood. your sure giving me the Go bug. Because of you Iv added new places on my bucket list. jp
When I was a kid, we used to go camping at Sylvan Lake...somewhere up there. I remember we'd rent a row boat and troll for fish...and landed many. haha Have fun and enjoy history.
Awesome views Eric.
Great video, interesting town..the very best to you and Jax.
thanks eric. keep up the good work. be safe.
Unexpected snowfall is common in CO. I pulled off in a rest area and woke up under 4 inches of snow.. lol. Glad Jax is enjoying it. Be safe.
HAHAHA!! The dog barking reaction had me cracking up!
Logan Axne - I kept backing it up to see it again. Eric didn't need to tell us that the dog scared him. I thought he gave himself whiplash!
awww ,jaxs loves his daddy.that town is quiet.hope you got to see a little bit.
Thanks for another good one Eric! I sure do miss those drone shots. Hopefully you can get it repaired soon.
We love the clips with Jax!!!!!!!!
I haven't been to this part of the US so this is my first view of the area. I'll make some notes for when I do head west. Great video and great quality as usual.

Deadwood is on my bucket list of places to visit. A friend of mine owns the Deadwood Tobacco shop in that hotel. One day I'll make the trip.
For those that are looking for the location of the lakeside campground at the beginning of the video, its...Sheridan Lake South campground
Mountain Prepper 4 Life thanks for that information. I was wondering why he never answered folks requests to tell them where that was. Odd. Anyway, your response is greatly appreciated. We travel with kayaks and that will be a fun place for us to stop. Right now we are boondocking in the hills overlooking the Deadwood area. Extremely beautiful where we are. Very peaceful.
Thumbs up to another great spot!:)
Great video Eric!
Do not lose the cowboy hat... it is you ... Love the town and good idea asking where to park over night... Finding out good info... thanks for the tour... very good video..
That's why I like the VW Westy you can park anywhere and that's a big plus at times
Deadwood does put on shows, in the summer.
I love Jax. Make sure you give him a lot of attention and love!
Deadwood, the show, was fantastic... it was short lived (I think only 2 seasons)... really a good watch!
I enjoy your videos. The Black Hills are really something when 500,000 motorcycles are there in aug.
Your living the life, hopefully one day for me...
Great video Eric, Brings back a lot of good memories..Hope you can make it thru Sundance and Devils Tower..Beautiful country.

Drive by barking. Deadwood's crime rate is skyrocketing.

Again another great video Eric been watching since 20k
Great video thank you!
Great video Shame looks like you have gone past the minuteman museum, that would have been a good visit
Cool history in the town but was overwhelmed by the amount of gambling and bars when I went, makes me feel a little better you didn't find much else either. Fun town but not much for a frugal traveler. Really hope you get to the Badlands, that place is amazing!
beautiful cowboy scupture. nice eric.
I PICKED UP ON THAT AT THE 1:38 mark in video ! LOL get on over to Deadwood at moment you was filming the Dead tree that fell into water ! Brilliant !
Love your hat, you really suit it :)
