I am buying a Suzuki Esteem from 2001 from a friend of mine. His mom bought it new and it stayed in his family. Now, they're selling it to me at 1.5k with a new AC. I always loved his car, seemed small, efficient and reliable. Exactly what I need
I imagine you do. This was rusted so bad it wasn't worth fixing. But it was way fun to drive, until it started breaking in half. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Awesome. I thought it was a fun car to drive. Too bad this one was so rusted and broken. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate your support.
You're welcome. Always pleased to hear a good word. I appreciate you watching. Enjoy that Tundra. Mayhaps share my channel with your FB group if you feel it worthy.
GM+Suzuki=Geo. The Chevy Trackers had Suzuki j18a 1.8L and j20a 2.0L engines. Mostly the 2.0 Speedline wheels are some of the most exclusive wheels made. Flow Form process. Made in the UK and are factory providers for Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati etc. The ones on the Esteem are good wheels. Maybe not as valuable as the USED 911 turbo ones for $ 9,900.00. If maintained this engine will run 500k. Fun car! 👍👍
Wow. Thank you for all the information. I knew those wheels were exclusive. These had Suzuki stamped on the back side. Sadly the entire car was rotted badly. Thanks for watching and sharing.
Baleno= Europe and more, Maruti=india Subframe rusting is a known problem. Speedline is a kinda famous wheel brand. "Monster" Nobihuro Tajima drove one @ the ppihc with 800hp and crashed it. You got the 2nd generation or facelift model here. As a baleno It can have a 1.3 1.6 or 1.8 engine and different trims. In Europe for example we got the 1.8 gsx hatchback, 1.8 gti hatchback and a 1.8 gtx estate.
What parts do you need? I may sell some parts, as long as it doesn't disable the car. I have plans to rally it in the fields after harvest. Do you have one in good shape?
@@funjunkiegarage I still have my original 2002 Esteem wagon, automatic, no power windows or A/C but still runs great and only has 128,000 kms on it but the rust ate trough the T-Bar and is needing it replaced. There is some more rust underneath in some places plus on the bottom of the front left door and underside of the rar left side door. But that is it. Car is still strong otherwise.
Best way find a leak would be to clean it up real well and look for the new wet spot. You can get dye and put it in the fluid and detect the leak with a black light. I'm not aware of any common transmission leak issues. Best of luck . Thanks for watching.
