This was such a great, and peaceful video! Got a realistic look at your week. I was teaching in Thailand and I’ll be returning there in September….but I’m considering making it a visit and moving to another country. Vietnam is currently at the top of that list. Would you mind answering some questions? 😊

@@esiriscorner did the school you’re working at help you with your visa and work permit process or did they just leave it to you? How long did it take? When you’re out by yourself, do you feel pretty comfortable and safe there. I always feel so safe on my own in Thailand.
@@theluxlifepodcast my school helped with my visa process and I do feel very safe here. There’s the odd pick pockets here and there, but I’ve never felt like I was in real danger, ever.

Hello Ma'am, I'm currently a 3rd year Education student, soon to be 4th year, and I've been presented with an exciting opportunity to do an internship teaching abroad, specifically in Vietnam. The prospect both thrills and scares me. I've heard various opinions from my peers, some of which have caused me to have doubts. They've mentioned that teaching English in Vietnam can be challenging, and as an English major, I want to be prepared. Hi Esiri your video is very interesting and relaxing,love the relationship between you and your student's. Considering to move to Vietnam for Universitystudys and work. Is it necessary to learn Vietnamese language before leaving there? Or is there a requirement to take a Vietnamese language course?
There are universities that teach in English, you don't need to learn Vietnamese

I have a question how do you teach the little kids that just learn English and you don’t speak Vietnamese
They kids all have a nice background in English, so it’s not a problem at all.
Do you find your students pick up your accent at all? When I used to tutor, my student picked up some of my Canadian accent and I thought it was so adorable.
Happened to me when I was tutoring in Korea, but so far here, I haven’t noticed it 😁😁

Depending on where you work, you might have orientation.

@@KpopUnniesUwU I already have a job, in a Province. The funny thing is that a lot of companies, they don't want sponsor visa, that's why I really hate about UA-camr that are promoting to come here. Because I'm white that helped me a lot 2 years ago, but now a lot of illegal workers are coming, they just live doing Visa run every month. But after August it will be more difficult. More Africans heard about the success a few Afrikana here and they are doing anything to come here like supporting apax or working illegally for 400 USD the month.

It’s possible, it’s much difficult, however not impossible
In 2023 i went to many centers they don't want to sponsor any visa. They prefer paying illegally to tourists.
