Thank you for the guide! Was super helpful! Don’t take it the wrong way but I couldn’t help but crack up and start laughing. It felt like you’re my Dad trying to help me with my math homework and explaining the same problem to me. 😂 Not a bad thing at all, just made me smile and laugh.
Lol, not the first person to say that. It wasnt my intention but it came off like that. I just wanted to list things in a clear straight to the point way but yea it came off like that. I dont know how to fix my voice but i'll work on it!
@@brokentv1855 I dont think it has anything to do with console to be honest. The game introduces the systems I mentioned but like you said it doesnt actually explain that this is how you get gear. Like at level 20 it gives you a quest to do the first dungeon and thats supposed to be a "hey these are dungeons, you get gear here" but it doesnt actually say that it kind of hopes the player has played mmos before and knows what to look for.
I really appreciate spreading the word! I try to find things that I see people missing, not knowing, messing up on or when I hear a lot of questions in discord.
Repeating some of the same sentiment in the comments, but thanks for making this such a clear and digestible vid. There are way too many content creators mentally stim'd out of their minds, cranking out vid after vid with regurgitated content (of their own, too, at times) at the pace of 10,000 words per minute. I've been no-lifing Global since Early Access, and while I feel versed in the game, the vids I'm appreciating most during leisurely downtime/focused learning are vids like yours, and also the newer UA-camrs with little views and subs, but earnest uploads and sharing. Digressing.. enjoy, GL and HF.
What many forget is that when you feed your blue into your purple you also get a trait level up or blessing buff if the blue had the traits leveled up.
Maybe, I test this out with a friend, he got a purple to +3 then fed a +9 into it and ended with +6 and a half. So he spent enough purple growth stones for 3 levels only for the transfer to net him half a level. In my opinion it didnt look work it but there could be a break point like you mentioned level 2.
A good tip I saw somewhere else…level up purple gear to 6.3 before you transfer a full level 9 blue into it…that willl get it to a level 9 purple….rather than transferring a level 9 blue into a level 1 purple which would only get to a level 6 purple…would spend more to get the purple to 9 that way …also, have traits ready for the purple already or the blue might still be better before rushing to switch
That is true, there are like more optimal ways to do it, like you mentioned with the gear levels but most people wouldnt bother remembering to evel gear to those exact point so this was way more simple. As for traits yea I agree, I always try to mention to people to bank any greens and blues with good traits for later and that a full traited blue beats out a non traited purple.
It is more efficient to level up your blue gear first to +3 and purple to +6 before you dump your max green and blue on them respectively. The last few levels to top up is way more expensive than leveling them first a bit.

I agree, im not sure how to fix this outside of what other games do by giving tanks and healers more rewards for the dungeons that have longer queues or adding like a bot filler system which I personally dont prefer.
I’ve watched like 50+ TL videos, for whatever reason I’ve found the game kinda hard to wrap my head around all the stuff…but not in a bad way, just so mych to take in….anyway, this was so well done and explained things so so so much better than almost every other vid I’ve watched I can’t even tell you. Do have a question…what do you do when you realize you’ve leveled up a piece of gear that isn’t compatible with another….for example, I leveled up a level 9 purple iron helmet but my build needs a leather head piece …being a dope I thought I could transfer it over to the leather 9 purple but it won’t let me….so am I stuck? Anyway thx for guide.
You should be able to do it, as long as it is part of the same category which in your case it is. Check these things, 1. Make sure your iron helmet is unequipped. 2. Make sure you dont have other loadouts/presets using that helmet ( some people forget that ) when you go to your character sheet under your character it has these numbers diamonds which lets you save multiple gear loadouts. 3. Make sure you didnt lock the iron helmet, if you did youd see a lock icon on it. You cant transfer an item if you have it equipped and that also applies if its in another loadout.

@@williammorris249 lol not offended at all.. what are you talking about? There’s nothing wrong with feed back from viewers. No one was being negative, providing constructive criticism isn’t being offended.
The game is fairly straight forward on this. Hit is very important, you need hit to well hit things or you miss. Then Crit Chance, every class benefits from it then its Atk Speed and Heavy Atk Chance with Cooldown reduction being last but can be higher up for some. But that is more or less the priority for a dps. As for armor it gets a little complex depending on content, if PvP you want to run more evasion then endurance and the type depends on the meta / what you are struggling to fight. In PvE you can forgo this for the most part and focus on things like Max HP, HP Regen, Max Mana MP Regen etc etc. This is like EXTREMELY basic way of explaining it and there is more nuance to it but there you go.
Very nice Video and straight to the facts, now i actually know what to do. Only thing im missing now is whats the point of the game. Arenas are useless after you won 10 of em. Right now it seems to be that the only fun part is getting better gear?!?
They are trying to rush us to the same content level as Korea so were expected to get T2 dungeons in November, Arc bosses at the end of Oct. the expansion in December/Jan with the new Spear weapon.
Towards the end of October they will release Arc bosses, like the giant sand worm you had to run from in the story, Queen Belendeer or however you spell her name lol. They are like weekly world bosses that drop extremely good weapons.
Very little gear can be posted on the auction, you can tell if an item can be sold by the boarder, they have this brown boarder with these like triangles pointing in. If you look at the ones on the auction youll see what Im talking about.
@FateOdinGaming Thank you and I've seen them, I guess dungeon drops don't count because that's what I was trying to sell but it wouldn't let me so I had to make them into trait extractions and sell them that way.

The gearing up in this game feels closer to an ARPG like Path of Exile or Diablo. So many minor stats that are mostly RNG and then you need to upgrade them.
True, the game does have a pity system though. 4 tokens per chest, you need 80 for an armor item so thats 20 runs of 1 dungeon and if you want a weapon pity thats 20 tokens of each dungeon or 5 runs. Will a trait extract from the auction house unlock a trait on a piece of gear or simply buff a preexisting trait?
You can use a different trait that was extracted to unlock a second or third slot but it has to be the same weapon though.
blue 10% green 1% when trait'ing a purple
Very helpful but the ending about being quick too fast almost seemed like a joke dude lol
upgrade ur purple gear to lvl 7 30% before putting the blue into it .

Sadly yes, so you only want to do it to items/traits you dont want but sell on the auction.
