Sony A6500 Picture Profile Test

Some test footage from the new Sony A6500 recorded in 4K using different gamma and colour settings.
Edited in Premiere Pro. I shot this all in one shot to keep lighting as close as possible but the SLog footage did boost the ISO to 800 and there was a bit of difference in the light as I shot as the clouds moved. All the grading was done in Premiere using Lumetri. The SLog footage used the Ground Control free SLog LUT and a little tweaking. Everything else was just done with the basic corrections panel in Lumetri to push and pull the image and adjust saturation and contrast. I tried to keep the grade as similar as possible but the different footage grades differently. SLog footage was, by far, easier to retain detail and still get the saturation and contrast out of the footage but the other picture profiles still look pretty good to me.
Massive thanks to Ground Control and Casey Faris. The SLog LUT looks really good on the A6500 footage and the videos on Casey's Channel were really helpful in learning the grading process.

The A6500 has impressed me a lot so far. I've upgraded from a Canon 700D and have been looking at Cameras for a long time. The A6500 was the winner for me for what I do. All this footage was shot with a Canon 24-70 2.8 L II using a Fotodiox adapter.
I have multiple other videos of the A6500 including a test of the Slog footage and how it grades in different lighting conditions and a test of the picture profiles on Slow motion footage.
