This happened to me a couple days ago at work from a girl I thought may be into me, and I am also into her(Though I've given her no signs yet I don't think aside from talking when she talks to me) I'm generally pretty quiet. The other guys there are all several years younger than me. I'm 29 and they're all between 19-23, and a lot of them talk alottt and say things in bad humor/tastes, and seem immature. Anyways, I was at a drink fountain behind her and some coworkers(Other guys) were talking to her and joking(I didn't hear the actual conversation) but she turned around and looked at me, asked my name, then she turned back and told them all she liked me, very publicly and loudly lol. Like kinda yelled it xD. She said it in a loud seemingly-joking kind of way. But if people joke about liking someone publicly, or like even about being in a relationship with them, it's literally like a hint veiled behind a joke. Our work schedules are never set-schedules so it's kinda hit/miss if we work together, but when we do it's like this. Also, I've noticed like all of the other girls there keep giving me looks and stuff too. Like they'll be looking at me throughout the day, and through this window we have there(We have this big window for Orders and all of the girls are on the other side of it), and I can see them looking out of the corner of my eye and I pretend like I don't of course lol, but then I'll turn my head their way kind of slowly and they'll kinda glance away til I look away, and so on and so on. I know that feeling. I work with a lot of people, and I need to be able to work with everyone. The last 3 months we've had a lot of new staff, women/girls around 18-23. And most of the won't stop trying to flirt with me, and it always ends up with me ignoring their attempts, and they get mad. Like they'll be looking at me throughout the day, and through this window we have there(We have this big window for Orders and all of the girls are on the other side of it), and I can see them looking out of the corner of my eye and I pretend like I don't of course lol, but then I'll turn my head their way kind of slowly and they'll kinda glance away til I look away, and so on and so on. I haven't yet like held stares with them yet, mainly bc I'm not totally sure which one I want to date(I only date one girl at a time). But quite a lot of them are attractive. This main one though she's made it a point to interact with me the most, and I do find myself really looking forward to being around her and working with her. The others though they seem to be more of the nervous-shy types(Which tbh I am too) so I haven't made any kinds of moves or anything. But well, it's like you say- you can just kind of feel it. I know that feeling. I work with a lot of people, and I need to be able to work with everyone. The last 3 months we've had a lot of new staff, women/girls around 18-23. And most of the won't stop trying to flirt with me, and it always ends up with me ignoring their attempts, and they get mad. We work quite closely with each other, so when I end up working with one of these people it's just plain awkward.
