If I saw this in a gallery and didn’t know how it was done, I would wonder how the artist painted those fabulous rings. Brilliant, Julie! The contrast of light and dark is spectacular.
Both paintings are very stunning. Neither should be scraped! Such depth and striking colours and movement. Tons of love and respect from Alberta Canada where we are experiencing Autumn.
The trend now seems to be leaning towards the notions of outer space exploration these days! This is a very interesting topic and an exciting opportunity to bring a little speck of heaven down to earth in the form of abstract art! Dazzling images are becoming increasingly more beautiful and exciting to watch as they come into focus in the different styles that are being developed! This is a great way to explore space and texture in the brilliance of drop paintings. Once again we have come to witness a new level of genius at work! Again, you do yourself very proud! ❤
I absolutely LOVE this ring pour!!! This is the exact color scheme I've been trying to pull off and when my colors go underneath like your gold, they never come back through like that. The way the gold popped up like that on it's own is amazing!! It looks like you purposely put a gold frame around the pour. I would be so happy to have one turn out like that. I absolutely love your page. I always learn something from your videos so thank you!!
I am sorry what happened in Australia, I love this continent, its on time to come again. Your work looks stunning in dry, I will try it also, knowing that I can not compare with your painting becouse I dont have to much time to paint... I wish all paintartists in down under a nice healthy weekend without fire...🥰👍🙏🏻❤🍀🍀🍀🖐
Don’t scrape! They are a great pair together and you could sell them that way. When you had them displayed side by side, I found myself looking for differences and similarities and it became mesmerizing. And your other comment from a viewer was right about how people find pleasure in a painting that maybe you couldn’t see but they did. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Although I haven’t tried this yet, I love seeing these pieces develop with so much surprise in the unexpected results. Definitely don’t scrape!
Very nice. I did it today with iridescent copper acrylic instead of gold. I obtain some big copper cells around the caneva, same as the video. Please note that I add some silicon oil in the cooper pouring only. Be careful not to waste too much color while tilting.
I Love these colors! I think that You have mastered this process. You have worked so hard, and experimented many times. This is my personal favorite. Thank You for the constant effort.
There are so many people who do 'pours' now on UA-cam. However, it takes an eye for color combinations that separates the good from the best. You, Pouring Your Heart Out, clearly have an eye for color combinations, which sets you apart.
Which did you end up liking better? The center did one of those optical illusion things. When I looked at it from your view, the center went back into a "cave". When I looked at it from our view, the center looked like a mountain. So unique. Every time you say you're going to have a cuppa...I get one too. But mine's Dr. Pepper. LOL
You make it look so easy. My 1st attempt was a disaster, think I had the gold too thick but I am going to keep going till I get it right. The important thing is to have fun with your art. Love your work....thanks for sharing.
Oh nooooo! Just when I think I've seen the best of your work, you come up with something exquisitely new and different. I'm positively addicted to watching you and your creativity!
My daughters school is collecting spare pennies for the schools in Australia to replace books that were lost in the fires. She had brought in all sorts of silver change as well as pennies. She is concerned the kids aren't getting to learn without books and supplies. I thought it was great when they announced it during an awards assembly that they were helping other schools. Glad you were safe during those fires. P.s. this is a beautiful painting. I like this one better than the one you showed. The lines are more defined. Thanks for sharing!
Whatever you did, this one is gorgeous! Just look at the lines, the pearls, the depth, that beautiful middle! Wow! I like this one better than I do the darker one.
My son absolutely loves your videos and this "lava" painting is now a firm favourite. Thank you so much for making such lovely and educational videos, this may well be our next rainy day activity!
Its because of you and sister acrylic pourers that have gotten me an interest in this art style. Just for fun mind you. Thank you, also, for being explanatory
This piece is beautiful! Just gorgeous. I love the colors so bright and pure! Other fluid artists seem to always put white in their flow no matter what and it's hard to get real red when you put white in because it turns pink! This is just my cup of tea! Thank you for sharing this video!
I would like to know how sound would affect one of your pieces. Sand on a metal plate when vibrated with sound makes different shapes with different frequencies I wonder if you could do it with paint...?
THIS could be fun to try, mainly because the ingredients are readily available to me. All the other speciality stuff is hard to obtain without a HUGE cost in Sweden. Thanks for inspiring us with such bold beauties!
I have never had any interest in acrylic pouring, didn't get the appeal. Stumbled here kind of randomly and was mesmerized. Such pretty results! That gold looks amazing. I will have to watch more.
I am absolutely loving watching these for my evening relaxation! You inspired me to try this with my homeschooled son, and it turned out lovely (especially for a 14 y.o., art-resistant student!) ;) Thank you so much!!! :)
This is so beautiful. It is like the red sky and burning embers of the bush fires. I worked in January in an evacuation centre on the far South Coast the skys were scary but beautiful.
I love how the center looks like it’s popping out at you it’s almost perfect the way the darker shadow is underneath the swirls and the way that the orange highlights the top of it… It’s so neat and I love the gold bits! I’m just in awe of how you do this!!
Hi. Another painting well created ! this is stunning. I love the gold pearls and the definition in expressive colors. So intriguing. I can’t wait to try this.
I love this. Don't know if this helps at all but when I use this combination of colours I use Paynes Grey rather than black. It gives the contrast you want but doesn't take over. The brand I use - an ecomomy brand, is very dark and does not look blue-ish on the canvas. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you so much!
I have been trying this technique and I can't seem to get it to work I don't know if my pants too thick or too thin or what any suggestions can't get the pearls to pop up
You shouldn’t scrape any of them. You should sell them. Even when they don’t come out the way you planned, someone will still love them. Possibly everyone but you. Lol. ❤😊
I love this! I've been doing ring pours on larger square canvases and am finding I'm getting much better results than with the rectangle canvases.(you're right, not as much stretching).I'm devastated about the sunny coast fires,I'm originally from Caloundra.
I saw a lot of creativity in such a technique, there is no originality! But there is a spreading process, which is controlled by the artist, but this is magic !!! I am sure that even an amateur who is ready to do this will create a masterpiece! But at the amateur level, since the nuances of owning mixing and spreading acrylic on canvas are not a momentary act, but the result of the author’s long experimentation. Лайк из России!
I love to hear your ideas. I did my first pearl painting after watching you do yours. I used an oval canvas. I got good pearls but my colors were a little dark, so I’ll redo it. My friends said my cloud pour looked like Hurricane Dorian 😄
What paint acrylics do you use for your pours some say apple bottom, Sax and some say liquid basics or amsterdem. What has worked best for you since you have started practicing pours. Also can I get the flame can from Micheals. Thanks.
Greetings from Norway😘 I just wonder how this is possible, it’s so beautiful 💖 you don’t use any silicone or oil in it, just the paint and floetrol? It’s impressive how many cells you get💖
I have watched a lot of these videos on pours, and that is the most beautiful one I have seen! Not only is it my colors is just gorgeous! As a new artist I’m doing this one!! Thank you
Fabulous pour! The rings give the optical illusion of texture and depth. Your comparison to the ember fires was insightful, although I see a swirling vortex of active lava with spots of fire and heat floating above. Beautiful pour!
WoW!! This came out beautiful!! Much nicer than the other one. Im so glad you explained the changes you made in the paint thickness's. How does it look dry? I would really LOVE to see how it looks dry. Thank you for sharing, your, art and your thoughts!! I REALLY love this one!! The gold on the red us just super rich looking!! I might try to do something similar! Be well over there!!🎨🖌💜💜💜
If I saw this in a gallery and didn’t know how it was done, I would wonder how the artist painted those fabulous rings. Brilliant, Julie! The contrast of light and dark is spectacular.
BEST you've everrrr done Miss Julie... just breathtaking!
Both paintings are very stunning. Neither should be scraped! Such depth and striking colours and movement. Tons of love and respect from Alberta Canada where we are experiencing Autumn.
FAB! GREAT POUR AND PEARLS. VERY PRETTY DEAR!
Looks like another dimension. It's gorgeous! Do the same but with blue and black and white with the gold. I bet that would look amazing! Like space..
ua-cam.com/video/l15aft68e2Y/v-deo.html she did this pretty one with blue black and gold
I like that idea

Amazing! I beleve you just may be the Queen of the Pour.

Love this scheme..that outlier of gold is amazing with beautiful ring combination. Beautiful

Nancy Veich it does; it looks like it’s 3D
Waw super merci
You make it look so easy. My 1st attempt was a disaster, think I had the gold too thick but I am going to keep going till I get it right. The important thing is to have fun with your art. Love your work....thanks for sharing.
It's important to keep your paint mixtures liquidy. Not thick. It works much better
I love paintings in blue too, with oceangreen and midnightblue...❤
I’d like to start doing these pour type paintings for fun. It seems like a great hobby!
My addiction is watching these beautiful pour paintings........soooooo amazing how you do it.......my ASMR
Oh nooooo! Just when I think I've seen the best of your work, you come up with something exquisitely new and different. I'm positively addicted to watching you and your creativity!
Thankyou for your commentary and explanations. I always learn more about the techniques/science of fluid art when I watch your videos.
This turned out just phenomenal. Thank you for being meticulous enough to weigh everything. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
My favorite ring pour so far!!!!
I love that you can see each layer. It really does look 3D, amazing!!!
Love them. The colors remind of Okinawa. They use those colors in enamel paint on furniture and jewelry boxes. Absolutely beautiful.
I absolutely love it. I'm a beginner and your art is an inspiration to me.
My daughters school is collecting spare pennies for the schools in Australia to replace books that were lost in the fires. She had brought in all sorts of silver change as well as pennies. P.s. this is a beautiful painting. I like this one better than the one you showed. The lines are more defined. Thanks for sharing!
I like it a lot and I'm not a red person. This is making me change my mind about the color.😊
Love the center. Usually the centers look like they are going down into the painting. This one looks like it's coming out. Looks awesome.
When it's dry cover in resin and that all look really nice and glossy, I would buy it
Your story made this painting much more beautiful.
OMG, this painting is just beautiful. You are a genius with paint. Thank You.
Whatever you did, this one is gorgeous! Just look at the lines, the pearls, the depth, that beautiful middle! Wow!
I like this one better than I do the darker one.
This is gorgeous and would look amazing in my living room!
TALENT HURTS...I love it
U cannot teach or learn the natural gift of just being creative
very inspiring. Someone needs to paint a car like this
My son absolutely loves your videos and this "lava" painting is now a firm favourite. Thank you so much for making such lovely and educational videos, this may well be our next rainy day activity!
Have you experimented with the gold in the ring pour yet? I’m very curious about those results.
Its because of you and sister acrylic pourers that have gotten me an interest in this art style. Just for fun mind you. Thank you, also, for being explanatory
Julie, This piece is stunning. I think it is one of my favorites.
A nice painting to look at in the winter. It's a warm feeling painting
8:22 The drippings are as amazing as the painting.. You have to try making a painting just from the drippings and not just wasting it.. .
Ive always just used freezer paper taped to trays. It works great!
This piece is beautiful! Just gorgeous. I love the colors so bright and pure! Other fluid artists seem to always put white in their flow no matter what and it's hard to get real red when you put white in because it turns pink! This is just my cup of tea! Thank you for sharing this video!
Love this, one of my faves! It's not just stunning but wildly 3D.... I can't wait to try this myself! Just gorgeous!
Both of the canvases you did with this process, look great. Take care.
Most beautiful ring pour with pearls ever...just love it!

right !!! I love to sample with sand and water. Amazing. She would need some serious bass tho....😜
THIS could be fun to try, mainly because the ingredients are readily available to me. All the other speciality stuff is hard to obtain without a HUGE cost in Sweden. Thanks for inspiring us with such bold beauties!
It turned out fabulous! I'm definitely going to try this one, I love the colors!

That’s gorgeous, looks 3D.
I love that you verbalise the colours makes it so much easier! Thank you 🙏 looks stunning 👍

Beautiful!!! I was helping you out by tilting my phone as I watched this. 😆
Me too lol
Mee too! Lol
I do that too.
Omg I do that too without realizing it haha

Wonderful.
I like your painting with gold and all this colours..🥰❤👍🙏🏻🖐
Hi. Another painting well created ! this is stunning. I love the gold pearls and the definition in expressive colors.
So intriguing. I can’t wait to try this.
Are you on her Facebook page? If so, I would love to see what you were able to do.
I went back a ways and saw this beauty. So gorgeous ❤❤
Absolutely love this and will try myself although I know I won't get your result. Stunning.

Black, red and gold is a very old palette, used a lot in khokhloma art:

I have been trying this technique and I can't seem to get it to work I don't know if my pants too thick or too thin or what any suggestions can't get the pearls to pop up
I don't want the pearls, can you tell me how you mixed to get no pearls? Thanks
You shouldn’t scrape any of them. You should sell them. Even when they don’t come out the way you planned, someone will still love them. Possibly everyone but you. Lol. ❤😊

The combination of red and gold is magnificent!
How do you get Pearl's to float like in the intro video?
Milk, dishsoap and water..I believe. My niece did it as a school experiment.
...or food coloring in water and into oil...they did those too.
Cool. Thank you.
2-3 drops of silicone oil as stated in a video
Beautiful. This is my favorite pour painting.
This is beautiful. Love the colors together. You make it look so easy and I know it isn't. Not for me anyway. Practice makes perfect I guess.
They’re both gorgeous. Offer them as a set! Wow factor!
Greetings from Norway😘 I just wonder how this is possible, it’s so beautiful 💖 you don’t use any silicone or oil in it, just the paint and floetrol? It’s impressive how many cells you get💖
Its beautiful. And the texture just adds a really good character to the painting.
When she was saying… Oh no! I guess this is how we learn… I was thinking, “I’ll take it! Right now as it is!“ LOL
They look pretty around the sides
Amen!! Sooo pretty!!!
I absolutely love the colors and design that the pour made.
It is very beautiful. But you do not answer the questions of your admirers, it's a pity ...
I think julie works full time and does these beautiful paintings for us. I’m sure it’s too much for her to answer all the questions.
She does work...as a nurse. Do you know any nurses?
I think the same, too bad she doesn't answer, because followers are very important
Love how the center looks like you can look down into it. An optical illusion. Cool.
Vortex! That's the word I was trying to of earlier!
I love so much painting see you again❤️❤️❤️
You are always superior ... may God protect you ... I hope to learn at your fingertips
It looks like a portal. I love it.
This give me a vibe of like a gateway into the unknown!!! Love it!!
I have watched a lot of these videos on pours, and that is the most beautiful one I have seen! Not only is it my colors is just gorgeous! As a new artist I’m doing this one!! Thank you
Stunning! Love your commentary as well - so light hearted but relevant.
It is beautiful and like an optical illusion.
I love the colors you used in this one. made me think of lava... very beautiful .
Fabulous pour! The rings give the optical illusion of texture and depth. Your comparison to the ember fires was insightful, although I see a swirling vortex of active lava with spots of fire and heat floating above. Beautiful pour!
انت حقاً مبدعة وتستحقين الدعم
Fantastic colors, beautiful pour
You must be very happy with this one. I like the dark colors but, they're bright.
So simple but so beautiful
I'm mixing the paints and trying this now!!!
Be well over there!!🎨🖌💜💜💜
I bought some extreme sheen whilst in America last week and can’t wait to try the pearl pour.
I just have to work up the courage.
Love it.
Here’s some courage

Really pretty! Pleasure to watch and learn. Your vibe is upbeat and charming. Refreashing!!
O can watch your videos back to back... love love your work!!!!
Your comments about the fires.... Really resonates. I'm in the South Okanagan. There are always fires around us.
This is my favorite ring pour I've seen, so beautiful.
Thankyou so much
Great depth, rich color. Outstanding!
Beautiful artwork! So creative!!! 👀👀👀
