- Driving tour in Rotterdam, Holland. Rotterdam has a population of 651,446, and it is the second largest city in the Netherlands after Amsterdam. Rotterdam is located in the province of South Holland, at the mouth of the Nieuwe Maas channel, and is the major sea shipping and logistic center in Europe. The history of Rotterdam goes back to 1270, when a dam was constructed in the Rotte. In 1340, Rotterdam was granted city rights by the Count of Holland. Enjoy a nice 4K video tour around the city.

Why is Dutch city architecture so frikkin' gorgeous? Even 'boring' brick buildings are palatable compared to a lot of the dross here in England.

After the devestating German bombardment of the city center of Rotterdam on May 14, 1940, the Dutch had to design and build a brand new city. The first impuls was to reconstruct. But after five years, WW2 ended in 1945, the emotions cooled down a bit, and the authorities realised that this was a rare opportunity to create a new modern city. Because there is hardly any historical center left, anything goes. High rise ? No problem. Odd designs, like the cubic houses ? Go ahead. Rotterdam is now the economic powerhouse of the Netherlands, a cultural hotspot and a beacon of hope for people in the Ukraine and Gaza. They too can learn from the Rotterdam rebirth experience.
I'm Dutch and if I had the money, I'd absolutely love to live in Rotterdam. It had a nice mix of everything.

een paar jaren in rotterdam geweest.
In Kralingen gewoond, Zwart-Jan, zuid en dik 16 jaar in Delfshaven gewoond en nu in Zevenkamp. Echt heel leuk om dit te zien. Je kunt geen 5 minuten rijden zonder dat Rotterdam er weer compleet anders uitziet, elke plek brengt weer een compleet andere vibe en energie met zich mee. Dat is het mooie van onze stad, iedereen kan er z’n plekje wel vinden als je goed zoekt.

WOw, this GTA rehaul mod looks so amazing! Still a few issues, like despawning cars at 0:48, but it's almost indistinguishable from reality.
Editing out most of the time standing at a stoplight, isn't a GTA rehaul mod.

That's some weird editing. It cuts while in some interesting medieval-looking streets then keeps recording for 2 minutes in a red light..
