You demonstrated this on a knife sharpened at 120 grit. In a previous video, you said you've gotten a metallurgical microscope because you were working at a "micron level" you couldn't see with your other magnifiers. So, how fine can you go with this new microscope and still be able to see some useful detail? In terms of image quality alone, was it better than the USB microscope you were using?
This thing should be an excellent learning tool to see what impact I'm having on the edge! just ordered the AD203S with the little stand since I can use it for soldering also.
Very nice little device, microscopes get fancier and fancier every time.

Absolutely. I hope my genuine reaction came across. If I didnt have much nice to say I wouldnt have been so excited about it.
I've seen these and wondered how good they were. I'm glad they sent you one and super happy of your results. Kinda shocked actually because I thought the weak link would be the screen and be lower quality and not as defined picture. I was wrong! I'm cheap. At $43 I can live with turquoise blue. 😂

You stated in your review that it is a 12 megapixel, however, the specs on the product on amazon state that its image sensor is 2 megapixel. Is the 12 megapixel on the box referring to something else?

Hmm.. now that is not bad at all! I bought the USB microscope based on your recommendation.. don't use it a lot because I think mine was lower resolution than yours. But this.. I'm really going to have to convince myself I don't need it.
Every time Ive shown it to a customer and they can see the damage before and after its amazing to them also.
@@CurryCustomCutlery Not being tethered to a computer is an advantage. Not grabbing this straight away but it's going on the shopping list.
