    Good to see another timelapse video, really lets you get a feel for the country. Sure are lots of tunnels between Aurland and Bergen. Voss looks like a nice town.

    Nice video again! Following the trail with a map on the other screen. Fun to watch how fast the terrain changes, Especially after driving up the valley from Gudvangen where there is almost no snow and roads with no ice and snow. Then you enter a few tunnels and come out on a totally different landscape with a lot of snow. This was also fun to watch since I went most of this route with a bicycle in the summer 1991 (but started in Bergen), and it has changed a lot since then...

      Bjørn Nyland Hi Bjørn,
      Love your video's, big Teslafan myself (proud owner of "Black Beauty", a P85 from august 2014)!
      Your videos have inspired us to plan our next summer holiday in Norway. We live in the Netherlands and are still working out the optimal route in Norway, have +/- 3 weeks to spend. Any advise? Isn't the route along the coast the most exiting? Superchargers along the trip are very welcom, of course :-)
      We are much into Nature / Views / driving, not so much into Cities. You could mail me at sabinezp@zonnet.nl if you want to.
      Looking forward to your reaction, kind regards,
      Sabine

      Sabine Zink Pielage I am not so familar with the south of the country or west cost since I am living in the north (that is way I like those film from Bjørn driving around in the south). But if you like nice scenery and nature I would highly recomend the Lofoten area. You can take a shortcut with ferry from Bodø to Moskenes, then drive to the little village Å at the end of the road, then turn around and follow the E10 until you get back on the E6.
      Another tip is driving to a small place called Gryllefjord at the end of RV86 on the island Senja in Troms. I go there at least once a year with car just because the driving out there is so fun and have a breathtaking scenery. You can get to Gryllefjord via Andøya after visiting Lofoten and take a ferry to Gryllefjord and then follow RV86 back to E6. But that route may be a bit difficult with electric since I can imagine there would be hard to find any charging stations along the that route...
      Maybe Bjørn Nyland could take that trip first and describe all places you can charge along the way? ;)

      Norway does have a lot of tunnels. I went last year though, and loved every moment of it from Bergen to Askim and eventually.. Poland. However, I liked Poland more.

    It's amazing how common electric cars have become in Norway these days, I'm used to seeing them here in the cities, Haugesund, Oslo, Bergen etc, but I was on a roadtrip with my spouse in Norway this summer, even in rural countryside areas the electric cars like Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi MiEV, and some Tesla were still pretty common, even as a Norwegian I wasn't aware of that, haha.

    Loving your videos! I check every day to see if there's something new :)
    I just wanted to say something, as a preemptive thought. I've seen it happen with other youtubers and 'internet personalities'. Don't let any negative comments get to you. There have been some comments about your personal life and comments about how you should run things or what kind of videos you should upload. It can be hard to distinguish this from feedback. But in my opinion, just keep doing whatever makes you happy and don't let this become work. The genuineness and your enthusiasm is what makes your videos good and your channel popular I think, so do whatever works for you! I recognize the irony in me telling you what you should do, though :D

    Is it just me or does it look like the section from 50'15" to 51'30" is going downhill?
    It is so irritating that it every time looks like so, even when actually driving there myself. Even knowing that Gudvangen actually is at the sea level. Even after having a look at the river that actually flows against me.

    Hi Bjorn.
    It's an amazing video of an amazig landfscape in norway.
    Is it the whole route or did you leave something?
    The route length is about 430 km, isn't it?
    I suppose there are any Ferry passages in it?

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  10 років тому

      This is the whole route. I didn't leave anything out. It's about 480 km total, with two SC stops at Gol and Aurland. No ferries on this route.

    Dear Bjorn, I've loved all your videos. For two reasons mainly: Firstly, I am a strong believer in electric cars and an admirer of the Tesla Model S. Secondly, I take great pleasure in riding shotgun in your car and enjoy the scenery of your beautiful country, even when it's dark. However, I can see very little reason in timelapse videos. They make me sick to the stomach! It's like a rollercoaster ride - and I hate that. So please, go back to your edited videos where you show the meaningful parts and leave oout the mundane. "Pars pro toto". Get my drift? Cheers, Udo (from the land of the longest racetrack in the world :-))

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  10 років тому +3

      Thank you for the feedback. However, a timelapse video only took me about one-two hours of editing. And I post these videos because my fans want them. In comparison, a typical road trip video will require 50-100 hours of editing. I am currently editing video #15 Stockholm. It will be finished soon. This timelapse was just a nice addon while waiting for the big one.

    Bjorn, no. Any idiot can make a time-lapse video of a route. there are tons of Russian dash-cam videos. You are no idiot! Your videos are always entertaining and fun to watch and informative. I love the scenery, but also the front porch and meeting some of your "customers", and also the cities and hotels that are visited. Your opinion helped us to decide to got to Norway and Sweden on summer holiday soon.
    Please bring the normal videos back.

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  10 років тому +5

      You have to understand something. I am currently working on the #15 Stockholm video. Editing a proper road trip video takes 50-100 hours and I usually finish it 2-3 weeks after the actual trip. In comparison, shooting a timelapse only requires 1-2 hours of post-editing. Yes, I am aware that any "idiot" can do this.
      If you took the time to read some of the other comments here, you'll find out that many of my viewers actually want and also enjoy timelapse. I make videos according to what people want. Because this video took little time to make, I posted it while working on the #15 video.
