Protest, but do not interfere with others rights to attend classes and go about they're lives in peace and not in fear. My son goes to this school, he served 6 years on active duty and when he got out in 4/2020 it was right in the middle of the BS shut down. So he was supposed to go to school that fall and had to put that on hold until he finally could get into a college he wanted to go to just last fall and now this?
I completely agree and you must be a proud dad and it’s a shame that he had to serve for people In our country that can’t fathom the idea of war and they like you said are affecting peoples lives, taking away education for a war that we as civilians on the other side of the world have no power in, it’s sad. Also I thank you for your sons service

If these kids are here on Student Visas. Those Visas need to be revoked. They are breaking our laws. Their privilege to go to our schools needs to end.

The university's $51 million endowment has less than 1% potentially invested in Israeli companies or organizations, which are mostly software companies, banks, and bonds.
Students there only understand unidimensional issues, "is my stuff paid??", "is my side winning??", "is this exactly what I ordered??" 😂
Then that should be easy enough to show to the students and release to the public. Because frankly I want to know how our state's universities are connected, as well.
Also, I think what types of investments/connections are they? If it's military/government, then definitely they should divest. We don't want to be a party to what's happiness Gaza and the West Bank.

I'm glad to see young people today take interest in the plight of the Palestinians. It reminds me of the student protests against our countries involvement in the Vietnam war.

It does seem like an overreaction to me. I can see them shutting down the building they are occupying, but why the whole campus?

Spread the word that Palestine has never been a country and hundreds of years ago Israel and Judah were. Romans destroyed 2nd temple and then other Arabs took most of the Jews away later. However, a remnant was left in Israel. That’s fact. Need more information look into the 6 day war when Israel was yet again outnumbered only to defeat all the Arab nations against them. One of the reasons Egypt won t go at them. They learned their lesson. On top of that the Palestinians of their own naming aren’t even welcomed by their own kind because they re malcontents much like those we see at college campuses now.
Can’t believe terrorist propaganda has clouded the minds of impressionable American children. If you want a cause so badly look around America, there are plenty. Help the mentally ill, ensure public safety from criminals. You can t do that though because you re the problem. Shame.

lol, where were they when terrorists swarmed into Israel to kill students like them that want peace? Where were Humboldt students when Israeli peace seeking student were tortured, raped and killed. Humboldt definitely has a closed mind but clearly open to the radical professors that they ve allowed into every twisted faculty. These erroneous professors foment in these mixed up uneducated children of America things they know nothing about which goes all the way back into one of their least favorite books to read. Israel was a country as well as Judah before it was wiped out. Palestine NEVER WAS EVER a country!

I've heard that argument before and don't buy it. Though each person doesn't make much of a difference, if enough people speak out they can make a difference. Protests against the Vietnam war did help bring the war to an end. An international boycott against South Africa did help bring apartheid down.
