    What i love about crownless is how desperate he feels when you start the fight he just straight up attacks like he was waiting for the moment and when we stagger him and the moment he gets his stagger bar back he swings his weapon out of desperation and jumps back i love that little detail like most bosses just simply get up after getting their stagger bar btw great video🔥🔥🔥

    Kuro games been experimenting with boss in their previous game PGR, like there's a boss that can steal ur UI and Buttons and there's a boss that control your other character to fight you and more

      There is also one(or two because they are a duo) that uses your mechanics against you.
      PGR gives you time freeze if you perfect dodge. The boss does that back at you.

      ​@@raoni00111 would be even better if it's gonna be implemented in WuWa in the future. Like one good example would be bosses that have a fast chain attack that can all be parried. Right now the parry mechanic for me at least is under utilized.

    i think my favorite part of crownless is when for certain attacks if you dont dodge he will just facepalm and shake his head. just adds another sense of character to his fight

      You’re on the right path, but if you look closely, he’s not facepalming to seem annoyed or taunt you.
      You notice that rover does the same thing? They both get headaches from time to time due to their link from the beginning of the story, just like they both have that wing. Nonetheless, yes the attention to detail is insane in this game 👌👌👌

    What I love about WuWa is that you don't even need new character to beat the game Rover itself is already an S tier dps and even if you so get a new character it doesn't even help you in handling bosses as you actually need to read the boss movement to beat it

    9:11 Jinshi, the character you'd be using during the story encounter does have arial attacks combo, so if you can manage a grapple right there and manage launch a FULL COMBO, MID AIR, FACE TO FACE with the boss, it's absolutely stunning

    You should give some credits to the duo ice doggos too, only one of them isn’t big of a deal but both of them even as normal mobs can give you more death counts than other mini bosses and hologram bosses, I learned it the hard way when first met them

      Same with Impermanence Heron it's e charged attack is tricky to parry its wing attack delay animation is also mind blowing since it one shots most dps.

    The Jue battle, if you can manage to grapple to him while he's in the air and attack him, his stagger bar goes down extremely quickly.
    That's why his sword attack takes so long, it gives you a chance to interrupt it.

    1.1 bosses underwhelming? Heck no! I actually appreciate their boss fights more so than ever compared to some other game where bosses are just standing damage sponges doing nothing most of the times and the times they attack are easily parried.
    WuWa's boss designs are moving forward in the right direction.

    Not even to start hate or anything, but this is just why I prefer WuWa over ZZZ so much more. The direction that Kuro decides to take their enemies in is just *incredible.* There's so much variety between them all and you can tell that it's all actually thought out, including the moveset of the characters as well.
    WuWa's fighting in general is just so dynamic and I can't wait for it to improve in each subsequent patch. There's going to be a long break before 1.2 hits so in that time I really hope that I can raise my characters in order to be better prepared for what they have in store next!!

      yeah kuro have a portfolio of making fun boss to fight compare to Hoyo who prefer cinematic over actually mechanically fun and challenging; They just make it so it look grand rather than feel grand.
      That and also the fact they have the balls to actually make the bosses have the capability to just 2 shot a character while making it fair at the same time

      But this is also why a portion of the players will choose ZZZ since its much easier and chilling to play compare to WUWA, I enjoy the boss fight and strategize planning to approach them in WUWA, but also sometimes I just want to laid back and enjoy some goofy and satisfying combat that does't take too much efforts.
      Its like playing GTFO with my friends and later I just wanna play some CSGO to relax 😂

      wuwa is not hard at all
      the boss attacks are literally telegraphed by a circle most of the time and even simulations dont have that much hp...
      simulation fights feel more like an endurance test

    I love the two mini-bosses as well and I hope they add more of these. It also makes exploration engaging in a way as it makes me look forward to fighting them.
    I hope they add one where it's hiding or flying and will just jumpscare us with an attack. Just incorporate the enemies to the environmental design if that makes sense.

      The problem is that every enemy is tailored on specific biome so it would not make sense for them to be all over but the best idea they can do is make a special red enemy that basically follows/hunts Rover probably a fractsidus that was experimented and turned into giant abomination etc (humanoid but bit bigger than Rover etc so it wouldn't be hard to fight), kinda same idea as Nemesis in Resident Evil, would be hilarious to see and turns the game into horror, and if every time it spawns and spots you a scary animation play hahaha.
      Or copy what the devs in Witcher did to the cow, if the players kill X amount of specific Tacet Discord, a red one will appear.

      adding to that. there should be just a roaming boss variant instead like Deviljho and Bezelguese in MH. Would be fun as hell if you can lead those bosses into territorial boss zones for a three way fight chaos

    what? 1.0 bosses have many attack move set variation they literally change patterns when go higher on Holo 1-6. Memphis alone change its attack patterns depending how far you are from him , Aix can do animation cancel to fool you, Monke summons another monke to attack. The Bird is the only that lack of variation but else is really what you said.

      Diff 6 monki's clones doesn't spawn randomly, they spawn whenever it does certain attacks.

      Ok hear me out
      Jue smack his tail into the ground, send you and a large amount of water into the air, then froze the entire field in a gray scale (ZA WARUDO) , water droplet and you stop mid air.
      It then launch a giant light beam at you, which can be parried at last second to escape unharmed.
      To make it a bit more fair, make his initial smack parry-able, so if you fail you can go through all that

    Easy subscribe, I love this type of overall boss content and improvement videos, I was trying to figure out what felt different about Crownless hologram but now I know, its "Personality" you completely nailed this take man. I do hope they make this a standard for new regions, I know it's going to get harder on the development side but I have faith Kuro games will keep on cooking even more.

    When I saw this video in my recommendations, I immediately jumped to the Jue section to see what you had to say about this boss fight.
    I think Wuwa enemy design is absolutely amazing, and fighting almost every type of enemy feels satisfying and challenging and amazing. And the new hologram they released - Crownless - was another fantastic addition that I really love. But not Jue.
    While I agree that Jue boss fight is an absolute spectacle, it was also VERY disappointing to me BECAUSE all you can do half the time is spectate.
    It's attacks patterns, its hitbox and its movements are just not fun to play against. Jue keeps running out of our attack range and most (if not all) characters can't do anything about it. It reminds me of Wenut and Ruin Serpent from Genshin Impact. Make its attacks interesting to dodge and parry, I'm all for that. But please don't make me chase after it every 2 seconds, or make me go afk for 10 seconds as its in the air dancing about! It's not satisfying that most of your attacks hit air cause it keeps going out of your attack range so often.
    As opposed to this, think of the hologram Crownless fight or the weekly boss Dreamless fight. You can dodge and parry, but you can also attack and not fuking miss half the time. Hek - for Dreamless, you can literally dodge its wake up if you get used to the timings. All of it! And while that's the only time you can't really attack, because its always once in a while and its AFTER your attack window, it's actually a very good design which incentivizes you to get your damage out before it can start its wake up.
    Overall, I think Jue was a step down from most enemies in Wuwa, which really is a disappointment given how much I was anticipating it. But I'm hoping and counting on this being a one-off given their amazing collection of enemies they have before and after the release of 1.1 otherwise.

    It took me days to defeat the tiger and that construct. The feeling of satisfaction I got once I managed to defeat them was amazing. I love boss fights in Wuwa.

    This is such a great video, ngl I loved this patch's mini bosses, I'm a unga bunga player, BUT I loved fighting these mini bosses I couldn't tell why but this videos explain it really well.
    The way they are part of the environment and how they fight you I love it, it's not like they are some huge damage sponges but something you actively fight till the end and its really enjoyable, also there's a miniboss, I won't spoil it, but it's in a hidden cave, and it just jumps you, you would think it's just a normal mob but it actually a miniboss 💀 it caught me off guard 😂😂
    I was getting whooped and laughing at the same time, I loved it

      i think not enough people appreciate the genius decision of the mechanic that is "everytime you dodge counter, it cut 5% hp of the enemy"
      which allow even a lv unit to beat them.
      If it was any other game dev, they would have made it a damage sponge where you have to take 10 minutes to kill
      This small mechanic allow you to either just do a bunch of damage, or just test your skill

    6:30 crownless will do a counter combo when you parry him, further increases your chance to punish since the counter combo lunge can be parried and gives small stagger time to deal more damage

    I love the two red bosses, the tiger reminds me so much of Dyaus Pita/HR Vajra from GE and the Construct basically Kuro telling me to learn dodge counters.
    Though I kinda find it funny that I see so many people struggle with the tiger more than the Construct, it only takes me 3 tries to beat while the Construct almost killed me for the 7th time, I really struggle to dodge the sword mode for some reason.

    I also find that bosses in the illusory realm mode has entirely new move set that overworld boss dont.
    For example the Rider has a new red flashing move that when kill you, trigger an achievement (but overworld rider does not have this)

    100% agree with you, wuwa bosses is so good. I love to fight Crownless hologram with one character, and it;'s so good, it feels like a Fromsoftware quality. Also interesting detail, that Crownless reward your skill, if you succesfully dodge his first of his combo attack, the rest of his combo animation become slower, the more you dodge, the more you can see the opening, even attack while in between his combo. And I like that if you parry him, instead getting stagger, he will do his charge attack, which can be opportunity to attack him more or get punished if you missed the timing.

    The Hologram version of the bosses is the original design. It's just that in the previous test, players complained that the bosses were op, especially the Crownless, so Kuro had to neft them and put them in the Hologram

    One thing I don't like with Jue is how it gets out of range of my attacks all the time. Yeah, you can grapple but by the time you recover from the jump attack Jue will be in another place already. I exaggerate a little, but I think you get the point. It's actually not a bother at all in the story, but when you farm the boss, it's just making it a bit too long for me.
    With the crownless he will always make a parriable counter attack after your parry. If you parry the second hit, his combo will be interrupted.

    Nice analysis, 1.1 boss do make impacts.
    But I shudder if they give Jue much more HP (maybe later in simulator), since it's hard to get full hit in his fight, it can be stressful if his future simulation version has tons of HP.
    Although weekly boss was never in any simulator, might be safe to assume they understand.

    A fun thing to think about is that they haven't even added all the bosses to holograms
    They however are adding them to Illusive realm and they have more depth there as well To make it more varied
    So story bosses will often times have replay value there incentivising you play all modes
    Also there's a ton of new giant bosses as well, Wuwa could never match Pgr in terms of combat because it's slower however the methodical approach leaves room for more complexity in characters and bosses and they're nailing that

    Kuro games bosses are WILD. PGR bosses would stop time, take away your gacha currency, shadowbox, create a gravity field, lag your PC, and much more.
    The thing is, the characters can do that as well lmao.

    I dont know if i was hyper focused or Jue was just that good to me. First time i farmed Jue echoe i got the achievement and never felt bored . That lightcrusher gave me souls level of anxiety and frustration 😂 and i loved it. When i finally beat it it was a draw with Jinshi landing the last hit and dying to the roar

    jué’s grapple is a skill issue crutch (source: me, a skill issue haver). I noticed that it pops up whenever jué gets distance on your character during a good, calm attack window (like during that aoe stagger attack that basically takes up the whole screen). if you’re like me and don’t have concerto energy ready to into-outro back into the fight, a quick grapple will zip you into close quarters for a longer attack window than you would just trying to run at him. also, if you manage to grapple that spot and hit him while he’s still in the air during one of his parriable swoops, his vibration bar instantly empties and he crashes to the ground. hope that helps!

    Well almost everyone is having a blast...but not so much for me, my work is literally ruining the fun..
    I'm at UL38 and still have greens, I also just discovered how to farm straight crit. damage drops but unfortunately yesterday's update changed it...😢😢
    I'm in deep trouble when I reach UL40 with no echoes decently built.

      Don't ascend your world level yet. Don't do the ascension quest as soon as it appears on the left corner of the map.
      Ignore it. And focus on working on your main team then upgrade it once you're confident you can easily nuke enemies and explore.

      ​@@andynow-uu1mr well you get more rewards doing the weekly and the other waveplate activity, and it let you level up more for your character.
      I think you should grind out the data bank level first so you can unlock 5 stars echoes (on level 21 capturing echoes guarantee that they will always be gold)

    The bosses are good but sometimes the attack timings are so weird... Take the purple bird boss for example (i havent memorized the names yet) the wing swing attacks is insanely slow, but the spin and other attacks are insanely fast. Thats not good in terms of consistency, it really throws me off the timing a lot of the time. Another example is badly telegraphed attacks. For example (i forgot which boss this was) theres an attack where the boss goes midair and charges up to do a plunging attack, signaled with a red circle on the ground with an expanding inner circle to show the timing. For some reason the attack happens a second or two _after_ the two circles overlap, not right when it happens. This goes against almost all other games that use this way of telegraphing. And the worst part is another boss with the circle thingy (i genuienly dont know what its acrually called 😭) DOES attack right then the circles overlap. The consistncy really throws me off and it sucks
    (and in general the mobs attack really slowly and as a bayonetta player it throws me off sicne im used to dodging as soon as i see the flash/telegraph 😭)

    I dunno if it’s just me but Hologram Crownless seems to deal less damage compared to other Holograms at high difficulties, I only seem to die whenever I get comboed by him lol

      i mean that is the point. Crownless have the lengthiest combo compare to every other boss in the game, even Dreamless; as well as he use them many times. They simply balance it out by doing slightly less damage to not make it feel like you have to play absolutely perfect to be able to beat him

      I cleared all hologram diff 6, I like Mourning Aix the most among all the hologram bosses because it is extremely punishing if you fail to dodge or parry, every hit lands feels like it can kill you, like Souls Game. The others I kinda just unga bunga and occasionally dodge.

      It's just 3 on PC too. It just shows all three characters on the side including the one you're using. I think it just shows the two you aren't using on Mobile to save on screen space, from what I remember.

    All of these get obliterated with any end game team lmao. Check PGR if you want to see actual boss fights where you are forced to fight.

      That pretty much only happens in Babel, where you have modifiers to make enemies more difficult, even with generous i-frames the newer characters have. Stronghold has its moments, but that's about it. Holograms and middle ToA still offer decent challenge at maxed out end game team. Whale teams are... whale teams.
      Heck, even Spider2B thinks that WW is more difficult than PGR.
      Above all, PGR fans need to stop being too elitist with the game. I understand the comparison between HoYo and Kuro games, since HoYo's enemies are mid to none, ZZZ included. But comparing PGR and WW like an annoying prick is not a good look.

      @@kyarumomochi5146 with mighty crusher, using jinhsi here is not ideal due to the same element. She may deal high damage, sure, but she simply can't achieve insane number like with other bosses.
      Jiyan is definitely the better one here, with the auto parry and all, but unless you can show me how Jiyan can unga bunga the mighty crusher in seconds, than the meta teams aren't "obliterating" this one.

    yeah cool bosses hooray! just for the sake of farming with no backstory and no hint why even the fk we are fighting any of these beings? They are wearing just Halloween costumes to look scary and that's about it. That's why I love PGR's bosses even if their designs is a silly one like shark spear for example they are properly introduced in the story. way to go KURO.

      Almost every boss in Wuwa have a story beind them, Crowless is a special one because he is directly related to the MC and still remain a mystery.
      The two Mephis are introduced in the main story and Jiyan story.
      Feilian is introduced via the story of the forest zone quest
      Inferno rider is introduced via the story of the fire zone quest
      Lampylum, the mine quest
      Mech abomination, main quest
      Mourning Aix, swamp quest
      Scar, main quest
      Jué, main quest
      Dreamless, main quest
      Heron and Turtle i don't realy remember if they have something.
      Anything else are TDs, we know why they exist and why we fight them.

      ​@@Atmo-spbell-borne geochelone, do have a story for it albeit in a side quest not the main quest nor exploration quest, it fleshed out the turtle (rumored) backstory (much like aix) and one of the effect of overclocking. It's the side quest where you need to make a medicine from turtle with the help of the npc nicknamed "TD hunter"

      Wuwa got better combat with you, sure combat in terms of what enemies do you can say elden is better, but wuwa has dmc-ish combat so that's the appeal

      ​@@poggest_of_them_all ER has far more variety in builds, than WuWa. What Wuwa has in-combat? Dodge, jump(wich in combat is mostly usless), attack, skill, ultimate, echo and sometimes parry. What ER has? All of this, exept ultimate and echo, and a whole bunch of consumables, some of which has hidden mecanics for enemies, magic and Incantations, wich far more diverse than echos in WuWa.
