The kiss was the best move recommended by the engine.
But of course we can't expect a human to find that move... or can we?
disgusting engine lines
@@masanetthomas8586 Humans also can find that move but the replying move can be dangerous
No, the engine could not see the move, but it was winning :D
She was tonguing his ear 😜
Congratulations Agadmator you are an excellent preparer of water in complicated positions!
Agree ....
the kiss allowed all sort of nasty discovery's
Staggering t

She was probably whispering "Play Evan's gambit Magnus".
That joke never gets old, it seems. Even though I am not the most enthusiastic about chess throuout my life, and I do not understand the irony, I relish the fun. The video I saw recently, where agadmator joked about Evan's being played, wich didn't actually happened, I got a good laugh.
@@ezergilechimekazikura6855 Its agadmator's favourite opening, althought its not the best competively
😂😂😂
2:46 "completely new game!"
7:56 "water sip break is back!"
10:46 "2nd sip of water break"
13:40 "a new record! 3rd sip of water break"
16:45 "non sip water break..."
9:41 "here Fabi went.."
- Not Fabi's move!
Congratulations Toothmother, you are an excellent finder of highlights in an agadmator video!
She went straight into the endgame with Magnus
The lady is Norwegian ambassador in Croatia, :-)
A top GM was thinking for 17 minutes, I will give you a couple of seconds, am I an engine to you? :)
hhhhh
2:17 Agadmator vs Database
& @ 2:21 at this moment Agadmator won it🧠💪
"It's maybe like I said, or maybe I haven't" + the kiss joke. We know @agadmator had a sip of his beer this morning haha.
A nice sip*
Another moment in which we are delighted to have our vast knowledge increased 0:19 "It's like a said, or maybe, I haven't" (AGADMATOR)
16:45 I wanted him to say "You are an excellent pusher of pawns", as soon as he said "assessor of positions" I knew I got it wrong :D
Pushing pawns as Black isn't a good move continuation against Ian Nepomniachtchi.
Play for a Draw if you can't win it.
Thats how Carlsen does it!
:Nepo Haha you have no more pieces left.
:Fabi Yes that is correct. 😭
😂😂😂😀😀
agadmator in 2030: Congratulations you are the Best Queen mover to f4 and also grabber of light Square bishops
Why does Fabi keep missing opportunities in his games?
Eccentric Horse11 Fabi is a perfectionist.
@@alphazero2756 clearly not
Because he's too busy calculating the next 100 moves to see the perfect 1 right in front of him
Fabi is an artist
@UC_LBTGphCUnhqH3JCG9Lmow That was completely rude and unnecessary, and tells alot about you
"Nepo isn't a grabber of free pawns neither is Fabi!"- Agadmator 2019
True....
Absorbing the rich knowledge of Agadmator, improving my own game and enjoying the style and delivery of the commentary. Well done man.
Legends say even in heaven capablanca still don't know any opening theory
i feel sad yet so happy for Caruana he is finally covering his weakness and developing his skills so it's natural to lose more games .
all he need now is sharper end game and more stability and he might take carlson
11:48 why lose the queen? He can push pawn to f4
Yoni Schlesinger fabi can capture the pawn en passant
Congratulations you are an excellent misser of en passant
Agadmator, that moment, at about 2:20, where you look up at the ceiling, remembering who played what when, that moment showed what a tremendous talent you are, what a tremendous chess ambassador. You know your stuff, Agadmator!
Thank u agad......you really make my day worth it
at 18:46 there was also a bike race that was of nepomniachi
Who else check the standing which agad mistakenly showed if you did then your an excellent viewer of standings mistakenly showed and for those of you who are hear to enjoy the show- pause the video and now click here👇
0:31
Hahaha I paused the video there to check the standings.. Sad to see Vishy at last but one
I start the video and usually have 5 seconds to take a nice sip of my water due to commercial but then choke the water out with the surprise of "Hello Everyone" as there is no advertisment!!! so what to do here? firstly I pause the video and raise my glass to take yet another sip of nice water in appreciation of your willingness to meet the fans demand for less advertising and then start typing this message to question your sanity as for everyone's derision including my own that we have to wait 5 seconds to watch another incredible and also reassuringly comforting 10-20minutes of magic we will all not begrudge you for making some money doing what you love doing so brother I can't believe I'm saying this but please be an excellent keeper of your living here🙏
That lady is an excellent kisser of world chess champions
What if she just want to enjoy the show?
At 10:47 I thought the best move for black was Bg5 winning the Queen?
Did anyone ask Caruana why he did NOT play the Petroff ? He is the world's number one and perhaps sole proponent of such at the highest levels. He is also extremely hard to beat there. I don't remember him losing with the Petroff
Probably because this is a round-robin tournament, and wants some early wins. I can imagine that even though he is best prepared with the Petrov, that he might not be ok with a draw this early in the tournament, as the Petrov is known for being kinda draws.
Petrov is a draw opening.
@@enizbaytar7844 That explains why Caruana has some very awesome wins using it against even top 12 opponents.
Jesus, how do you remember all the games in various positions? You sir are the best
“Just kidding, the kiss was just a bonus” 🤣 epic
Two beautiful games back to back is a rarity
20:05 "He laughed at Fabi for having no pieces" Haha
17:29
If Kf8 why more checks? Bxd6 is mate, no?
Yes, but in modern chess, a draw is better than a win.
11:37 THAT LAUGH IS HILARIOUS 😆
The kiss joke had me in stitches. Ridiculous stuff haha
Nice game and photos, and explanations of course
Nepo is one tough customer with the white pieces...I think the key was not having the continuations worked out after he sacked the A pawn like you said.Good analysis.
have you ever hear agadmator silent for a moment to think? check 2:18
Great vid!
#question agad if you are planining on actually visiting grand chess tour and asking the players a questions i personally recommend that you arrive there at least 30min earlier so you can catch them up because unless you are allowed in commentary room you can't get a real interview with them after the match. Espetially if they lost. It is 0% chance for any talking to do.
I think abetter move at 16:50 is Qd3
The good thing about this heatwave is we get to pause the video more often!
6:27 after black bishop captures, white takes his black knight with rook, basically a free piece because if black captures rook, white bishop then captures black bishop with a fork on the black king and the rook :)
Exactly👍....
"So without further to do let's check... out some photos"
nepo only player that on plus vs Carslen , incredible
This is why Fabi can't be world champion.
He lacks imagination.
and kisses
Terrific game. Thanks.
These two are my favorite players they have their very complex style
even your sip of water turns out to be very interesting
The lady shaking hands with Magnus was the Norwegian ambassador to Croatia.
12:56 Why didn't white played Nb3 which would block the attack.........And white won't loose the rook...Pls someone answer me 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I think then bishop takes knight , then queen check, continuation looks good for black
I'm also had that same question....
But, I found the real issue of why not Nb3 is , Black can take the knight with the bishop... ( Bxb3+ ) ....
Still, King is in check and rook also in problem & dark square bishop is hanging.... If, King takes the bishop (Kxb3) then mate in 1 (Qa4#) ....
So, King have to leave the rook also....
Excellent preparer of excellent preparation
Agadmator blunders keeps me interested.
This is like a roller coaster ride😁
Great video !
She was whispering "Play the Evans Gambit. He won´t have prepared for that."
Excellent game sir ...
Can anybody explain what's the point behind announcing unnecessary checks at 19:05 Couldn't White play c4 right away?
It centralizes the queen while also taking squares from the black queen
white centralizes queen so basically gains Free tempo
U should put pertosian head for nepo defensive masterpiece
Last photo caption: "You took all that time for THAT?"
I must be learning some things because now I get the pause the video move a reasonable amount of time whereas when I 1st started watching I could never make the proper move.
It takes 2 to play REAL CHESS
This game is so complex that after watching 3 times I still couldn’t see clearly when nepo went from being under pressure to attacker.
Really crazy
Very very excellent game!!
A new unit of measure of complicatedness: one sip of water.
At 17:01...Qd1 looks like it holds. After ...Rd2 Qg4, Rxc2 Ka3.
you are a legend man, great commentary and its a pleasure watching your videos...just 1 question-where are you from, im from Croatia and you sound like you are somewhere near Balkans, maybe Romania or Bellorussia?
I heard that Nepo was caught smoking Caruana during the match!
underrated comment :) ..... i guess chess community dont do maguana .. :)
@agadmator will you be attending the tournament??
crazy game. not one stoppage to fine the best move, but plenty of them ;)
"What's the move here? well you have to play something"
Whats d problem with qf1 to qd3 as the white bishop is pin. Agadmtr sir plz rlpy
It seems Magnus accepted Queen's Gambit this time
It's like Tal took that Steinitz quote, and made it his style
At 12:55 , Nb3 defends the check from the bishop right ? What's the idea there ?
at 7:34 in the line you mentioned where whites b pawn cant be defended due to Rb8, the bishop pins the g pawn so the rook on h6 is hanging. well not really because Rxb2+ removing the pin
At 17:34 if Kf8 you get mate in two by Bxd6 Ke8 (only move) and Qe7#
I think Bd6 is mate itself Queen covers e8
Sudhanshu Sharma yes you’re right
everytime i hear nepo's name, i thought it was "Young" nepomniachtchi lmao
Same xD Young Nepo souns like one of these modern hip-hop artists ^^
Excellent !
Is that "Babolat Aero Strike" tennis racket set againt the wall?
Maybe if fabi sacrificed the bishop he could've promoted
Exactly what I was thinking. When the King moved away from B2 and away form his bishop then Fabi should've brought his own bishop to C3 and promoted his pawn regardless of what Nepo decides to do after that! Can't believe MR AGADMATOR didn't analyze that!
Real chess with doubtful face in the thumbnail. Original agadmator
Agadmator please turn the board around when you ask us to find the winning move for black 😊😊
What's wrong with the new "in the spirit of Tal" video? Is it private or what?
Wow I actually found the line im proud of myself :0
She whispered good luck in his ear.
What exactly was the purpose of the move 9. a4 ? Shouldn't white be trying to develop his pieces instead?
19:00 black bishop captures pawn wins the game or not? exchange the bishop that covers the queening square and also win a pawn in the exchange, even tho youre down a piece. Why wasnt that an option?
Edit: doesnt work because after black bishop captures pawn, queen c8 check and youll win the bishop :D
What is the best software to play chess in pc
She was probably wispering "play H4 you know you want to"
at 13:37 or even 14:10, what is wrong with Qd3 check?
When the King moved away from B2 and away form his bishop then Fabi should've brought his own bishop to C3 and block and attack the bishop on b3 at the same time and promote his pawn regardless of what Nepo decides to do after that!
Can't believe MR AGADMATOR didn't analyze that! "He was not on his sharpest of days"
Yeah new comedy king! 0:44
I was hoping Ian to win since he looks like a nice guy.
Great game! Btw the description has the wrong game haha
@7:15 and it was in this position fabiano caruana defends nepo's pawn
where do i get your shirt?
12:05 After Bd2 if white pushes b3 ( pawn move ) *what is the real threat ??*
Nb2
@@faridelfakhry5761 thanks for replying...
I'm a beginner... Please explain 2 or 3 moves continuation.....
What I see after,
Nb2 is white can move the rook to b1 square... ( Rb1 ) ...
Then Knight has only escaping square at d3 ( Nd3 ) ... That can also, taken by White's light square bishop (B x d3 ) ... Then exd3... Then Qxd3.... (Black is now one pawn down.... )
b3 - Nb2 ,
Rb1 - Nd3,
Bxd3 - exd3
Qxd3 - ....... (Black 1 pawn down )
Agadmator has got very subtle art of joking.
It will have being nice if fabi had a follow up after sacrificing a pawn but I think fabi is not the type of player who gives up a pawn knowing he can get a winning chance , but he just do it just to make us think that fabi is some kind of genius
After 38 .BC2 Fabi did not play Qd3 insteed of QC4 Why?.is Qd3 the best?
