Alfred of all people is the last man you want to see become a Green Lantern. This man is NOT AFRAID to put people 6 feet under if it meant the protection of his family. He has no kill rule, unlike Batman who does. Also, Alfred as a Green Lantern is a great idea. I can see a story where Alfred is a retired Green Lantern & only uses the ring when he needs it the most.
@@AnonymousEnigma19 Because at best, he's a supporting character for Bruce, and if he can lift up cities on his own, then he doesn't need the protection of Batman and it stretches far beyond what the non-League world of Batman is. Also, they can't really disrespect the character's origins by making him weak, but everyone would be mad if he was better than Earth's previous Green Lanterns. It's one of those concepts better left for one-offs and what if's.
I like how Alfred Pennyworth's loyalty lies with the Waynes regardless of who the Wayne actually is.

Now give him some Lazarus youth and you have the best Green Lantern ever.
