I was born in 82 so it's totally possible I was alive at the same time as someone that was alive when this was happening...mind blowing really how much everything has changed in 100 years I don't think we really appreciate it

My dad's family had a summer house down near Lea, on the north shore of The Thames. The old dude next door, was a Texas Ranger, retired. He'd met William Bonny, described him as a "siphylitic son of a bitch, who'd shot most of his men in the back!" So I've a first hand account of Billy The Kid, amazing when you think about it.

How are you doing sir thank you for your wonderful cultural documentary channel. Honestly with every new video I learn new information and new vocabularies. As always iam gathering main information about topics you mentioned briefly here it’s first of all I looked up for meanings of following words hustlers means scammers , swindlers. Sucker person who is easily tricked or deceived . Gangster is criminal who is member of gang . American frontier is known as old west , probably known as Wild West , encompasses geography, history , folklore, culture associated with forward of American expansion in mainland North American that began with European colonial settlements in early 17 th century. It’s created tradition of self - sufficiency that is distinctly American and promoted composite American Nationality. In year 1893 Frederick Rick Jackson turner argued that settlement of west had ended . Frontier era in USA 19 th century came to close . Wildest town in west is bodie with population of over 10, 000 was one of most infamous places in Whole USA . Reputed as worst most violent and most lawless town in Wild West . In 1870s roughest town in Wild West was palisade nevada, entire country know about senseless, killing, rampant violent . Life like in boomtowns as miners described noisy , smelly , dirty . Old west towns still exist such as deadwood South Dakota, calico California. I hope you like my research. Good luck to you your dearest ones .

haha Soapy smith had some dealings in my home town Denton TX..and out law Sam Bass got his start here and they dealt with each other and we have the gun that killed bass in our town history museum but soapy had a con or two here and we have some old out law hideouts around here one reported to belong to Sam bass and is reported to have some gold he stole from a bank and we even have hideous here once said to belong to Bonnie and Clyde so pretty funny for a town founded by a Methodist circuit preacher killed in a native raid and our towns pretty colorful and not far from a couple of famous wild west towns Dallas and Ft worth used to be extremely wild in their hay day

The Wild West was anything but wild. Except for a very, very few people, it was a calm time in the United States. But, disease was very prevalent. The lack of any real sanitation only made it worse. Life expectancy was only 27 years old in the 1800's. Indoor plumbing and sanitation plants did more to extend lives in America than medical science ever dreamed of. The Romans were really on to something.
