I replayed this over and over again. I still couldn't see when the drop hapened even when i new it was happening. The load with the other hand was totally undetectable. If i practiced this for the rest of my life i dont think i could do it. Nice explanation of a master at work. I will be watching this over and over again me thinks . Thanks 👍

I have watched this a bunch of times I figured he lapped the last time but it was so undetectable and to load it on the top was so smooth.

Great stuff Pigsy, love Slydini. You should consider doing a Bill Malone breakdown. He's a terrific card performer for laypeople but for virgicians it's even more astounding when you realise some of the moves he's doing. He's so funny and likeable too.

I've seen this before a few years ago. Went on a kick watching the old tv talk shows. Slydini's silk work on this show is beautiful to watch. The showmanship is amazing.. moves grandious. I think there's something to be said for how magicians dressesd equating to that compared to modern casually dressed quicker tricks. I can definitely appreciate the past and think we all could learn something watching these older videos.

I have the two Slydini ´s old books (with explanations and photos of the Master). I will try to learn this trick one day but I’m not sure to be able to present it cause it’s very complicated to make it so clean 😊

    Pig:
These high quality videos of the Great Master Magicians at work, is astounding by itself. The addition of your insightful & brilliant breakdown analysis is damn good work. Please keep these coming. Your commentary is spot on.
So many times we hear hear "I know how that was done" and proceed to list in detail, how so.
I consider you a true sleight of hand master, so; so refreshing you acknowledge those even more skilled than you. So much respect given. Old School.
And your greatest point in commentary was 99.99% would never be able to pull this off in true test of stress of a Live Performance. Which in any endeavor seperates the Greats from the near greats.
I've always had highest regard for card masters that can switch to another method/variant of a trick, if a spectator is burning the hands/wary/more observant than the usual onlooker.
The greats have escape plans to ensure a sleight is successful if method #1 or #2 may fail.
Slydini had all that. As do the best.
Piggy, much appreciation for recognizing the Giants. Great way to give back, Sir. 👍

This is one of my favorite Slydini performances. He is so comfortable and confident...and the volunteer seems to be a bit frustrated. Also, Cavett was a magician long before he had a talk show. So I'm sure he's just soaking in being in the presence of a legend. Thanks for the breakdown. I love these videos!

Slydini is an absolute master of magic. I have to admit, I missed the load and had to rewind to see it. What an absolute legend.
