Jokes aside, just how bad is it really on block? You get launch punished? Most characters can get less damage with the punish than Bryan will with the Snake Edge. So basically, it's in Bryan's favor to be random with Snake Edge, if the opponent is depending on reads to block it. The move was designed to be seeable, it was never considered to be all that in T3 or TTT1, because regular players learned to react to it pretty quick. Online play is why the move got such a reputation and now that the input lag is being adjusted based on netcode, the move keeps being more and more relevant in offline play. As a move that is seeable, it's still properly balanced, as it is homing, high crushes 100% and even crushes many mids, for big damage. Once online lag gets stacked on top of input lag and then display lag, well there is a reason the move became so notorious in Tekken 6, essentially turning into a magical low.
Although I don't know much about Tekken and it's frame data, this video was hella enjoyable with all the memes and editing you put into it. Definitely had to subscribe after watching this, keep up the good work.

to prevent broken ankles like that highly rewarded doctors convinced Harada to make df4 also a snake edge so brian players can heal the opponents ankle themselves cause the SE with df4 is coming from the other direction. so when the ankle is broken just SE it from the other side and everything should be good again :) #buffLars
I am honestly glad this was made. I have used Bryan since Tekken 3 arcades and still like him despite being more a Asuka/ Jun Main since Tekken 2 arcades/Tekken Revolution. I do have Bryan wins under my belt (undefeated on TTT1) but I switched back to being a Asuka player. One of the main things i'm greatful for is how someone on GAMEFAQS told me how DF 3/Snake Edge is useless. I beg to differe and he keeps insisting "If you use df 3/snake Edge then you don't know how to play Bryan". I'm like LOL and found the person impossible to convince otherwise and put his ass on ignore. If people don't know how to use a move and link it with combos then tell others "That move is useless" they can go fuck themselves. Some people know what moves are useful and what moves are useless.
High level players will punish snake edge every time man. I main bryan and its good as a counter from distance but just throwing it out will get you fucked again at high level if they block you're getting punished or the parry.

I think you surely know that this is a running joke. And Snake Edge CAN be a very good attack for example: 1, 2 sidestep df3 and you get a free combo.
