G’day, awesome and thank you for watching. I love hearing from like minded Camaro owners. What engine & what colour (combo) is your car? You are gonna love it when it’s finished.
      Regards Robert.

      G’day Rob, as you requested.
You guys were so were, and still are, so lucky to have easy access to the big three car manufacturing companies.
We do have some cool cars (here) of yesteryear, but American cars rival all of ours.

I graduated HS in the mid 70s. I guy a year ahead of me drove a 70 z/28 like this in a green with gray stripes. I was driving a 69' Ply. Road Runner soon after graduation.

G’day, that would have been so cool to have driven these cars as HS kids. Wow!
And even cooler to have had a Plymouth Road Runner.
      That’s awesome.
      Thanks for watching. Rob.

My current DD is a 17' Camaro Super Sport 6 speed manual trans. Had a 2011 Camaro before that. Both great cars but the 17' is a step up.

Hi mate, the rear spoiler was available in 1970 as an option from the factory (COPO 9796). A Very rare option for the year - perhaps review the build sheet to see if it was factory fitted. In 1970 the standard option was a low profile 1 piece spoiler

By "trans am" spoiler, he's referring to the origin of the spoiler design as it relates to the 1970 camaro requiring that spoiler to compete in the trans am racing series.

@@RobsGarageDays it is COPO (Central Office Production Order) #9796 and it was only made available for order AFTER April 1970. If your car has a build date prior to May 1970 then your car would only have been available with the short ducktail spoiler (or no spoiler at all).

300hp 350 was the bottom of the line stock 350. Could have gotten the 360hp ver. in stock form.

Yeah, a higher HP engine would be nice. But this thing cruises along fine as is. And with the current price of fuel, it’s an economical car to drive.

The 300hp L48 was the middle of the road option. It had a 4bbl carb and wasn't much more than a cam change away from the 360hp in the Z28. On the other hand, I have the bottom of the line 350 of 1970. It's a 250hp 2bbl, in my no frills, no options other than air conditioning, way more fun than it should be, base model 1970 2nd gen.
