I went to college in Columbus OH. Jack was an icon. I blinked and now I am 60. I recently watch a video on Jack. Jack now has dementia and can't manage a conversation. Say a prayer for Jungle Jack and his wife. 🙏

Some of thr best content ever on television. I get emotional every time I see Jack on his last episode. Jack and Dave helped me through years of depression. What a team!

Jack Hanna was just wonderful to watch on TV. He did so much for Animal Conservation. He has left his mark on the world in many ways, for sure! God Bless his wonderful wife and family.
Although his health has affected his memory, the moments that Jack left behind are indelible memories. God Bless you Jack!
Jack's visits were always highlights, and you knew there was respect and love between these gentlemen.
Jack is a very nice guy. I used to work during weekends in the Columbus Zoo and it was always a pleasure meeting him.

I grew up watching Jack Hanna on Saturday mornings, as well as seeing him as a guest on Letterman sometimes at night (maybe when I was just a little older). One of my favorites!
As someone who grew up in Columbus, I remember him coming to our elementary school every year with a bunch of animals and all of us kids and teachers just being so fascinated with his explanations of the characteristics of them. Was such a great time. Sad to know he has alzheimers now. 😥

Jack Hanna must have been encouraged by the Letterman staff to bring out as many animals at once and create chaos. Dave to every furry animal that Jack brought out "Is this a marsupial ?'

Jack Hanna, David Attenborough and Steve Irwin are my three favorite animal people in that order. Dave sometimes portrays Jack as a buffoon which slightly irritates me, but to me Jack is the man.
Only 4 minutes? Please eventually post all of his visits! Jack was the funniest animal handler on any of the talk shows and my family always loved seeing Dave getting nervous.

Davw was on Seth Meyers recently and he told the story of when Jack got bit by a beaver, and they kept filming. He said how Jack was trying to hide the blood and then afterwards how he went to the ER and told them he got bit by a beaver in Manhattan and had to explain everything.

I love what a short fuse Jack Hanna has. He seems to be a nice guy, but he does seem to find Dave a little annoying. Or maybe he's just an irascible guy. In any case, he's all right in my book.
I don't necessarily think he has a short fuse, I think you just got exasperated dealing with Dave's antics along with trying to keep the animal under control and teach people about it. All which made for great fun.
Jack now has Alzheimer's and he lives in Montana, as Dave does. It would be nice if Dave visited Jack and said goodbye.

Late shows no longer bring animals with their trainers on their shows anymore. Any reason? Or just the tastes have changed?
Go look up Letterman's recent appearance on Seth Meyer's show. The shock when he told Dave that he doesn't have an animal guy 😂 I hope it gets them to consider getting one. I know Jimmy Kimmel had one regularly, I just haven't watched his show much recently. Kimmel is the biggest Letterman fan I know of.

He is always agitated, rude, stupid when it comes to animal facts and at times cruel to the animals!
